I don't get round playing much rs lately, I have to work during weekdays from 6.30 to 16.30 (well actually less but the extra hours pay more ). I'm also going out in the weekend so not that much time for rs :P I think I'm going to stay f2p other wise I might get addicted to rs again. @ slayershunt: I sold my santa, bought a red mask and sold for 36.5M two weeks ago wich got me around 2M. To bad I didn't stick to it since they are now going for 40M+ :ohnoes: I also did some rune ores/bar/axes merchanting. Don't know what I'm going to do with it, maybe buy a red mask when prices have gone down a little after halloween...

how was it more difficult? yah, i woulda liked a more mature community, with out all the spammers and scammer :evil: Nothing was as fast. If you got into a fight, you where there for 3 rounds out combat till you could walk away, no running. At the end of RSC days there was the fatigued system which was a pain. It was harder to keep track of what was goining on because of the way the menus and stuff where set out. 1 speed for every fight, scimmys were the same speed as 2-handers. The list goes on.... - certs: there weren't notes so if you wanted to sell 1k coal you would have to make 40 trips to giles and niles in draynor to get them all 'certed' so you could sell them in one trade - much harder to level (no items like fury, whip, barrows, also no guilded altar, pest control...) - No "Make X" - no in-game quest guide, you had to remember and figure it all out yourself - more mature community because of the higher difficulty and bad graphics :uhh: Here is a worldmap of RSC: [hide][/hide]

I've completed my summer goal of 50M cash by mining rune and merching. Made a nice 20M this way :P Bank pic a few months ago when I still was a member [hide][/hide]

You do can get random events in wildy, the mysterious old man once saved me from pkers that way and I get them all the time while mining there :P

I don't think FireFox is to blame... had two similar crashes today with the regular client (that uses IE). And rs has always been "ff friendly", it's just a java applet :uhh:

In-game messages like "Your inventory is to full to hold anymore coal" have got a graphical remake together with the whole new interface.

I don't think you really understand how it works. Three main types: 1) Bots: a edited version of the rs client They work by Item & MonsterID's, not with colours. It wouldn't affect bots. 2) Colour Based programs: a 3th party program They do not only work with colours but also with the text on the upper left corner off the screen ("attack green dragon" for example) + I think those colours are already the same :uhh: It wouldn't affect them. 3) Gold farmers: real people working in sweatshops, mostly in Asia, that play rs for a living. Wouldn't affect them. I really suggest learning more about the cheating community before posting things like this.

It has been done before and won't slow down autoers. Jagex removed it since people found a way around it. I know, I was part of the cheating community during that time.

It all depends on supply and demand... Look at red masks: a week ago I merched some at 36.5m, now people are buying at 39.8M. Why? Because everyone wants one before halloween.
