  1. Forcing someone to take a pill that doesn't affect their personal life or violate any rights is not invasive. It's merely encouraging natural selection. Oh, so you know all about her? What makes you more qualified to say that then me? Really? 'Cause it took us from single celled amoeba to where we are now. Seems to have worked fairly well. And no, in context, the last 50 years doesn't really count as historical. In the scheme of life, it's what happened to you last second. Nah, eventually you'd be left with a smaller group of relative geniuses, solving overpopulation, poverty and quite a few other social ills in a few generations. It's called natural selection, we humans learn to adapt and change.
  2. No dumber then how the rest of RSOF looks, I certainly wouldn't have identified it as sarcasm.
  3. And compfreak, where do you find these [developmentally delayed] posts? They are funny =D. http://failblog.org/ Guilty pleasure...
  4. Not true when dealing with the RSOF. Humor and sarcasm are impossible to detect when ti's a long chain of stuipd comments, and if they let 100 people go free for every 1 innocent 1 day ban, literally no productive posts could be made out amidst the complete depravity that would be the RSOF.

No idea, haven't compared the cost. Gonna guess 55 slayer isn't that hard, though ;)
  6. No, it means that if 50,000 people at work are constantly bothering him and he only has X amount of time to deal with him, he can either carefully go through and decided to ban a few of them but end up letting almost all of them go free, he can go through and quickly ban the ones that appear bad. Yeah, he might get a false positive every now and then, but it's much better then allowing almost all of them to go unchallenged.
  7. Given that she's been going to an english speaking school all her life, and only reading and responding to english threads, I don't think it's any great mystery.
  8. What part did I misunderstand? I told you of 7 friends who paied for membership JUST so they can access the forum. Notice the capitalized word. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/business/career_and_jobs/best_100_companies/article1476967.ece Notice how Jagex isn't listed as a 'non profit' organization? Yeah, that means they are interested in making money, not giving their customers a warm fuzzy feeling

Broad bolts to bronze\iron knives, though the different types of metal knives are so similar in XP rates when costs are factored in that it doesn't really matter.
  10. I'm not talking about physical castration, I'm talking about chemically induced sterility. Think the pill, only more permanent. More details on research at http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healt ... ility.html Then why'd you bring it up? If they want children, adopt. Very simple. Having adopted instead of biological children isn't exactly the same as being rounding up, shipped off to a camp, and killed. No human rights are being violated. Nope, my idea deals exclusively with intelligence. Beyond that, there is no universally accepted way to determine what is 'good' or 'bad' - natural selection runs its course more often in 3rd world companies. See above. The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale has been generally accepted as an accurate measurement of problem solving and analytical skills for over 50 years. Tests could be developed, but artistic ability usually corresponds to an increase in IQ scores (Source: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_o ... cb09d7e80b) You have no idea - chances are likely she wouldn't anyway. Lack of basic english\grammar skills and abhorrence of anything 'intelligent' indicates difficulty with problem solving skills, along with various social problems stemming from defensiveness and irrationality.

It means that you have virtually no testing to back you up - with a total of only 600k XP, you can't have spent more then a dozen hours testing. I don't remember the exact numbers, and I'm too lazy to go searching through my backlog of spreadsheets, but I'm fairly certain that it was roughly 6k difference between a crossbow and knives on a low defense monster - specifically yaks, experiments, and SOS spiders. Hunter crossbow wasn't far behind, slightly better then bronze\iron knives but worse then crossbow.
  12. There's only a few rants on here, so it's not a question of probability. I have proof children do; do you have proof that adults do? A 30 year old simply isn't going to sit down and type an unreadable, hazy, error-laden rant about how Jagex ruined his RS life, then flame anyone who points out that it had to be done for the good of the game.
  13. Meh, the mods there have to put up with so much crap that I don't blame them for banning first and asking questions later.

    Longbows...

Your level 68 range :-w If you really want to argue about it I'm up for it, but I would recommend not doing so. This is cold hard numbers, and I have the facts to back mine up :)
  15. Actually, I have 7 friends who pay for members for a month every now and then to post suggestions on the forum. So there goes your theory of no one. And sorry, but the whole thing about Jagex 'not caring about money, they just want to reach out into the community and promote fairness and equality' is exactly the type of promotional crap they want you to believe while getting as much money as they can behind the scenes, just like every other company.
  16. That had nothing to do with my post, it was just an argument with zero for the sake of an argument. What my original post (and entire point) was that adults don't make long, indecipherable wilderness rants filled with spelling and grammar errors that blatantly ignore facts, cherry picking what they want to believe and flaming anyone who disagrees them without a speck of proof. Children do. End of story.

    Longbows...

I'm quite sure they don't, though.
  18. Like I said, it's painless with no drawbacks. It in no way impedes the basic rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, it just means your children won't carry your exact genes. I'd be fine with that. It won't affect their lives, and it's for the good of society as a whole. Aren't police who stop murders doing the same thing? They are impeding one persons desires to keep him from infringing on another persons rights, the only difference being that desire aren't even impeded. Why is that wrong? For millions of years the dumb and weak have been weeded out, or we'd still be 1 celled organisms. This isn't a weeding out, this is just a blocking that in no way impairs function or life enjoyment. No, it's a much more humane equivalent to what's been naturally happening for millions of years before we advanced enough to interfere and stagnated development. Hilariously hypocritical win. And this isn't altering the lifestyles or separating people into groups of superior or inferior, it's simply non-invasive blocking genes related to lower intelligence, an easily measurable factor that can be corrected without violating human rights.

Chins are the exception as a mutli-combat monster. Knvies\darts\crossbows\dark bows non-spec are killed by rune crossbow, and dark bow is the speccing weapon. Basically, we have: Chinchompas as one rarely used, expensive training useful at one spot in the entire game Rune crossbow for everything else Dark bow + d arrows for specials while PKing.
  20. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/nerd Now, he's obviously not stuipd, irritating is subjective, ineffectual doesn't have anything to do with this argument, and attractiveness doesn't have anything to do with post lengths. He's obviously intelligent, so he fits the first pert of definition two, but as demonstrated in the above posts, he is well rounded and certainly not obsessed with a nonsocial pursuit. Sorry, but the dictionary proves you wrong. The correct word is 'intelligence', without all the negative nerd connotations. Long, detailed post means intelligent, not nerd. Learn the meaning of words before throwing around random nouns in an attempt to make yourself sound better then someone who obviously knows what he's talking about far more then you =D> Also, he is indeed correct in not factoring in the time spent for growing trees. Do you have to stand next to your farming patch for 20 hours while your palm tree grows? Nope, you can tele away and do whatever you want for the next 20 hours before teleing back to check it. Since the travel times are factored in, it works out perfectly.
  21. The hilarious part is that it's real. Yahoo deleted the question yesterday, but it still shows up in the Google cache at http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=cheerleaders+y+du+u+think+their+stupid&btnG=Search. The yahoo account also still exists, I imagine she'll be getting a bit of spam in the next few weeks (and rightly so).

    Advert lag!

Which will basically ruin any site you don't specifically allow, leading you to simply 'allow all', and ruining any safety features. Adblock plus is the way to go :
  23. Who said anything about living? It's preventing contraception, not killing them. Painless and free. They can still adopt and lead normal lives, but the faulty genes won't be passed down. It's the same thing that would be happening anyway with natural selection, had we not interfered by preventing death with medical technology - a good thing, but some other method to continue the process should be used.
  24. Ooh, a little harsh. Let's go with removal from any form of internet discussion for the next 10 years and chemical castration to ensure the genes are not passed on?
  25. But that would mean reading the development diarys. Some of us dont like to waiste our time wit stuipd thngs like reading, reading is for nerdz lol and im 1 of da kwl kids i dont want ppl to tnk that im a nerd cuz i read the update. Intelligence fail is, well, unintelligent. Off topic: (Well, not really, I sense a connection deep down in the primitive neuron firings of my subconscious), I hate stupid people. Gah. I believe in my plan to save humanity. The 30% of the population with the lowest IQ should be chemically castrated, at no charge, when him or her turns 14, the age when the test can be accurately performed. This will be the equivalent of vacuuming off the proverbial scum from the gene pool, with a good dose of chlorine thrown in. It'll speed up natural selection, and quickly increase our intelligence until within a few dozen generations all humans are operating at a level above what is considered 'genius' to this generation. Who's with me?
