I personally went with the flax method as well, getting my flax from MTK. I also only put 5 of my workers on flax and got 70 crafting after a while. Great money too.

Well this is actually the first time I've seen anyone disagree with the bad luck. I was more basing my assumptions upon my previous thread that was dealing with the same matter but everyone had agreed. Guess maybe it's a losing streak, but only time can tell. Doesn't matter too much though.

But I'm wondering why my bad luck has continued for 2 weeks already? And why others think the game has gotten harder too? Keep in mind, this isn't just 1 or 2 people, but actually several. 2 weeks ago was when I first maxed my quest points so logically I should get more tears than before? Yet both times I've played with 229 QP, I've gotten under and then barely 100. Before I could easily get 130+ with however many QP I had. But whatever, free exp. \

Not saying that my Runescape life has been perfect but there hasn't been too much I really regret. Only thing I truly regret is selling a special Blue Mask. :cry: It was given to me by a close friend for Christmas, but I already had a green party hat so I never wore it. I thought it would be better to just cash it in, so I sold it. To Duke Freedom actually, for around 800k; I still have those screenshots. I quit RS a few weeks later and came back and was shocked by the massive increase of the prices of Holiday Rares. But don't get me wrong... I don't want the Blue Mask back for my personal profits, I could sell my party hat and get a lesser color if I ever really needed money. But I want it back to give back to that friend who was hacked twice since I last saw her. We're not as close anymore but I feel terrible for selling it because it was a special gift. Darn my greedyness!!!! :evil:

I went with orange salamanders even after being able to catch the Dark kebbits in Falconry. It's just too crowded there for my liking.

If you have never changed it, or don't know how you could change it, then yes Lumbridge. : But for some people who changed it, it'll be Falador at the white knight's castle.

Only problem is in PC, if you're truly looking for fast exp, you'll be in a PC group. That means games that last under a minute at their best, and typically few extra monsters to kill. I suppose if you're just a regular PCer it would be a great weapon to have.

You're lucky! I did it at 57 and I failed those things at least 20 times. Only 20 times? I was at it for at least 1 1/2 hours+, and banked 2 times before I got through the first handholds. I was at 57 agility and used pots. But it's defintely worth it to keep trying even with low agility if you hate to train it, like me.

Ya, I posted a thread about this in the Help/Advice thread around a week or two ago and many people agreed. I have done one more Guthix Tears mini-game since then and can honestly say that it stinks now :cry: . Both times with max quest points I could not get over 100 points.

I don't think it's new though because JaGEx only released 2 new ones with the Hunter update.
