Lots of people are stocking up on proboscis and tortoise shells. I don't suggest doing this because it takes up a lot of time (unless you just buy from people on forums, but slow), unless you're willing to take the risk of them not being used in hunting. There are still chances though.

Ya I know. To be honest I wasn't using the high scores page, but actually a helper program for RS that tracks exp and stuff, and I update my high-scores everytime I log out. But since Tip.It doesn't like us to talk about third party programs, I just said high scores. It's not illegal though because it doesn't interact with RS gameplay in anyway, just external stuff like calculators and stuff. I also was watching my exp in-game as I was killing stuff and my def exp wasn't moving. But it's fine now, so it was probablly just server lag.

Is that a challenge? :-s :twisted:

If you have a ring of charos (a), the Dwarf will charge less for transporting your gold. Usually he takes 5 gold ores from your (if you have full inventory), but with the ring, he'll only take 3.

I was at Pest Control training my defense with a whip. It was on deflect mode, which is the mode that trains defense. I also had a window open with my highscore list, so I could see how much exp I gained from my last log-out. After around 10 minutes of PC, I checked my defense exp, it was the exact same. :shock: Of course, my first thought was to check my attack style, and it was on deflect. Next I panicked and thought they removed exp, but I had gotten exp only 20 minutes ago (before my last log-out) so that wasn't it. I checked my HP exp and it was rising, so I was still getting exp. Then I checked my other skills, and noticed my attack was gaining exp.. I switched my attack styles back and forth, and put it back on deflect. Then I started to get defense exp again. Was this just lag? Would have been a bigger problem if I had not noticed it. (I was experiencing a lot of lag today, though)

I've seen very few people buy them... Last time I saw someone buy them, was at 5gp each.

Yes, I've had several friends that have had phats in F2P only, some with phat sets even. But after a while (since they played so long) they were bored with F2P, so most, if not all, have converted to members.

Just replaced the head like you said, how does it look? (I have two accounts on KoL. My main (HC) is #892517, and my farmer is #912045, but since I got back in RS, I haven't played as much. I should really finish this HC run XD)

This other game... is it Kingdom of Loathing? Custom avatar? ;) I play it too :XD: . It was simple enough to make. :-k Used exact same timing as your friends avatar too. I think it waits too long, but idk. His has a few more for frames the skateboard animation than yours though, so it's still a bit fast. When people say "members objects" in F2P, they most likely mean items named as "members object". This means only you can see it; it has no value (or very little); cannot be traded; and cannot be equipped.

I don't know exact EXP per hour but, I believe fly fishing at Shilo village would yield faster exp than willows. Each is pretty easy though, just requires patience and time. Sharks would be a better money maker than magics though, if you're P2P and I believe you are.

He does has some uses: 1) Part of the quest, Swan Song. 2) Can remove F2P quest items from your bank 3) Gives out small quests, but only useful if you're really low leveled. But the monster under the bed is pretty useless.

I personally like studded (G) chaps (I use them too in an outfit), but I don't like the body. Maybe replace that with like blue wizard (g) or something?

That's true but there are very rich people (merchants) that were widely known before, at least from the among other merchants, like Duke Freedom. But I personally wouldn't want to be widely known... because of the all spam I'd get in public chat and private if I did not leave it off or on friends.

Money, because that's already the path I'm on, and I could just buy my way to 99 eventually ;). I also think it's a misconception that merchanting means standing in world 2 typing the same thing over and over again. I rarely go to world 2 for merchanting, and do most of mine over the forums. That way I can still "skill" while merchanting as well. And in this way, merchanting is not that repetitive. You get to look all over the forums for good deals, and race others to get them. In skilling... it IS the same thing over and over again. There is little variance in training skills, even the most exciting skill will become dull if you're going for #1. In the end, both are equally boring but I'd like to be rich.

Ya, all the good PC groups tend to shift worlds once the world they're in is flooded with lower levels, and pures. Your best bet is to train combat, like Malhavok said, and join a PC group like Affliction, Heart Unit, Heart Returns, etc. Of if you can find one, try using IRC and finding a PC channel, who used leaked worlds from PC groups. I've heard the official RS forum can be used as well to find the worlds.

Curious... how does that show one what F2P can achieve? He's been a member before, and has high member stats. If you look at it carefully, I think he has been to the varrock Makeover place and changed his clothes to Red and used items from other holiday events. But that's what I think. I'm quite suprised with the results :shock: Ya isn't that obvious? It is an all F2P outfit, but I was talking about the means that he got it, which I would bet was through members (money for party hat mainly). But I suppose it doesn't matter, but it's a bit unfair for the "F2P for Life"ers.

They were actually there before, people thought they were from the halloween update, but they're just the kids of the guy who lives there.
