  1. Most accurate price guide (IMO) is the search function on the RSOF. Just look up the item you're looking for (to sell or buy), and look at the recent completed trades. You get to see what buyers are offering, and what sellers are looking for. You can even do this as F2P. \
  2. Clues are always worth doing imo, but level 2's seem to be the most annoying.
  3. How would it affect certain barrows items like Veracs helm and such, that have high prices BECAUSE they were dropped upon death. If they are no longer dropped because their price is high, then wouldn't demand go down a bit? Thus dropping the price, potentially under that of the next highest priced item in the set? @_@
  4. Uh no... I haven't seen any increase in the Chain. I've been merchanting them, and I've seen a drop from 11.6 to almost 11m and less. Zybez's price on that actually is accurate. And to the topic maker, are you encouraging flaming? -.- And from the prices I've seen on Zybez's guide, I'm fairly certain they're not behind the "price crashes"
  5. Fastest exp/gp ratio, but not fastest exp. :P
  6. Barbarian Outpost would be indeed fastest for willows. Fastest exp possible (to my knowledge) is teaks in Tai Bwo Wanna at 65k-75k per hour, more than the 50k per hour at willows. However, you will be sacrificing the gp you earn from willows.
  7. At least this is aimed in a more positive direction.
  8. I liked both the PC update and Duel Arena update.
  9. Hanging around in the RSOF Armor forum, I've seen Bandos drop down a bit. Chestplate - 18-19m Tassets - 11-12m Boots - 1.4-1.6m
  10. ya but u never know with rs, a game which's economy is run mainly by people still on some sort of "allowance" at home.. Oh I meant the general concept of inflation. I don't even want to try to predict how things work in Runescape. @_@
  11. No, if money goes down, value of items will go up to counteract it.
  12. The "awning" is the tent or shelter like object in Shantay's Pass.
  13. you got it wrong yourself =D> inflation is prices going UP Im sorry, are you stupid? Why do prices go up? Cause santa aint giving out free stuff for christmas? NO. Because the generally accepted trade mark (aka MONEY) goes down in price =D> I have no idea what you just said in this last post. Can you explain yourself? And Im pretty sure you have it wrong. The more money in the economy means that the RS gold coin isnt worth as much as if there was only half as much. When there are billions and billions of gold coins in the economy it drives prices up because gold coins are worth as much. Yes he did say that, "Because the generally accepted trade mark (aka MONEY) goes down in price"
  14. you got it wrong yourself =D> inflation is prices going UP Im sorry, are you stupid? Why do prices go up? Cause santa aint giving out free stuff for christmas? NO. Because the generally accepted trade mark (aka MONEY) goes down in price =D> now its my turn :) prices actually go up because the money is worth less. so for the seller to gain the same as he would BEFORE, he has to put the price up. after Ww2 the german deutschmark was so far down, that everyone was a millionaire. children played with blocks of money. hell i even own an original ONE MILLION DEUTSCHMARK paper note. its worth nothing though.. Isn't that the same thing he just said?
  15. i would have thought barrows would go down, because their primary use was for duelling, and thats gone, making them less useful/less in demand items. That's true but "dueling" is not dead, staking is. Many people are using barrows for the tournaments now.
  16. you got it wrong yourself =D> inflation is prices going UP Because money is worth less... prices go up.
  17. It's not inflation. Many items are decreasing in value (mostly "rare" items like GS and discontinued) because staking is dead. And I've found the opposite occurring with Barrows, most prices went up, like Veracs from 3.0m - 3.6m+. Great way to make money if you were a Barrows merchant.
  18. Do you know why they were considered "spam"? Probably because (just like in the RSOF where threads about Summoning were locked) they have already been suggested, and considered. We don't need 500 threads about the same thing over and over again, especially when JaGEx may be considering them.
  19. Ehh...I'd say now removing RWT is a higher priority to jagex than not upsetting players. Need I point out exhibit A? Exhibit A didn't upset a vast majority of players, maybe a minority that held a lot of wealth and power but they still will have most of their players still paying for membership. If they removed Direct Trading, chances are it would upset x100 more players, including F2P.
  20. It's a show. If you want speed and don't care for money, go with Teaks in Tai Bwo Wanna Village. Faster than willows (~50k exp/hour) at around 65k-75k exp/hour. Just requires you to drop your logs, burn them or trade them to someone to burn (not too hard to find people who want free fm exp). Of course the last option would be fastest, followed by dropping all your logs.
  21. Well 3rd Age Ranged items are the exact same as Black D'hide.
  22. Well for one, there are so many other EASIER ways to do RWT here, and to die in a dungeon full of people, and not just your customer (hypothetically) would be plain stupid. And why did you bring all your money? I understand no-bank-space, but there are so many other items you could've noted and brought instead.
