Yeah Guthix wasn't too far from 50k when I last played, couple months ago was at 75k-80k. Bit surprised about Sara though I have to say.

That's probably because Saradomin and Guthix pages go for around 50k

I agree, and question if this update was necessary at all :-k

But instead of the GE value adjusting to the item prices, it happened the other way around. Many people believe the GE values over actual values, so they sell items on forums for higher prices, thus raising the item's real value again. I guess it happens with every update, but that just shows another fault of the 5% price range.

Prices should readjust overtime, but it may take a while. You still have other ways of trading.

They should of done more research in setting the original prices....

Uh, get the Runescape Client, open your Internet Explorer/Opera/Firefox/etc, and your video player and position them so you can see them? Basically just open each thing in one window and position each so you can best view them.

Correct me if I'm wrong but... WE DECIDE PRICES. Supply and demand laws are still in play! As said so in the KB. They set the prices for TODAY only, after that prices will readjust to how they were, or close enough. I realize they're still taking control, but what's wrong with 5% change when prices return to normal? Even if it is only every 24 hours, how rapidly do prices really change? [hide] [/hide]

is willows all the way but i agree with the pster above you switch to yews at 80 Actually teaks are faster maxing out at around 75k exp per hour, where at willows you can only get around 50k. For teaks, you should go to Tai Bwo Wanna and drop them or anywhere else with 2 teak trees or so.

Aren't those reasonable? ~800k I thought was GE prices.

Prices of rare armors are rather inflated as well, though prices did drop a lot in the days preceding the release of GE. Example: Bandos Chestplate Yesterdays Price - 17M and dropping Today's Price - 17.8M and rising Thanks GE >_>

How can setting hard +/-5% price ranges on every item not be "controlling the market"? :lol: Prices still can shift and the price range will shift as well. They just set the prices that we'll start with, but eventually the prices are in our hands.

Do you exp, gp, or a combo of both? Willows are great for exp/gp, but yews will give more gp. Magics are slow at all levels, even at 99 wc with a D-Axe, I find myself making more money at yews. Maples are alright but I've found willows to be better exp or yews to be better gp. I would suggest 56-85 Willows 85-99 Yews Or something to that degree

This is what I feel is happening, especially for items/resources that are common anyway. For some items it's like that, others it was the exact opposite, namely rares. I saw so many people selling their rare armors (bandos, dragon, armadyl etc.) the days before GE came out.
