Dyslexia, flu or aids doesn't still give you the right to call merchants how you did. Supply and demand do affect to the prices of RS just like they affect in real life too. Basically the economy is same in both: same rules apply till some point.

That would be pretty lame one :P We already got guides, I was 109cb when RS2 came out and I trained a lot on places which are now known as not-too-great (such as axes and earth warriors), did alot while doing slayer and later with abyssal demons and I got my first 99s before whips, barrows or other useless junk items like that were introduced :P

It's just like most of the rs2 updates too: it's an update people would check out but that's it. How many do you see playing those games in Burthorpe? How many does rat pits? This would just be another update like that: crowded tomorrow, half empty tomorrow and completely empty the next week. Also why bother making them a slayer task? One of the worst ideas I've lately heard. If you could still be logged in with a banned character after getting banned, what point would you do that? If it was this "ghost" thing, it would be just a stupid waste of time: they could aswell add a new dimension and put player-look-alike npc's there, maybe give them names like 1337 pur3, Rvwjbt and mob j4g3x so they'd look a bit like the normal rule breakers.

Farming goes in cycles. You can see it by planting allontment for example: even tho you plant your 2nd potato seeds 2mins after the first, they are ready same time. For fruit trees these cycles are longer than for herbs, allontment, hops, most specials and probably longer than for trees. This could add few extra hours to the waiting time. It also sometimes seems to bug with all different seeds, i.e. you can collect herbs twice from 4 patches before 1 patch is ready 1st time. Just be patient and they'll be ready sometime in near future :P

You forget that the old one was a black hole experiment. The "real" black hole even wasn't there for too loong. The experiment was popular for about 1 week, after it everyone had seen it. Removing it didn't cause any protests like it would have if it was a great thing.

It depends what do you see as a win. In Vietnam you only won battles, not the war. It was politically a bad move, cost you a lot and gave communism a place in Asia. If your goverment wouldn't have set you any restrictions, it could have led into a domestic chaos. You already saw the riots there. What would have happened if you had cut the food supply? You wouldn't just been murderers of hundreds of thousands of innocent people, you would also have been the scumbags of the world and even bigger murderer than Stalin&Hitler were together. Yea media played there a huge role and affected negatively to your warfare. However the current situation isn't any better: freelance reporters, internet, better intelligence services and other newer stuff affect to it how realistic information can be gotten. Of course it still depends about the source, but at least we got the ability to get some neutral or even better, enemy side news.

Oh well, went to w2 but instead of green dragon hides, I invested some gp on pure ess :P At the moment I got around 90k xp to 82 runecrafting, so not getting it today would be a bigger surprise than getting it. After having a long discussion about RS in general few nights ago with one high profile (over 200 higher skill total than I got) player, I got quite sure that 91+ rc is what I need.

During my abby hunting I've been counting all the rare drops I've gotten. At the moment I got pretty equal amount of loops and teeths. I believe it's 50/50, but you gotta remember that in a short run you might gets loads more of one type when you got 50% chances to get 2 different items.

That's the point: We don't need a black hole :P It takes just server space and who the hell would want to watch zombies or see black holed people?

If I could get my character unbanned after a perm ban just by talking 10 hours to mates, I'd do it. Wouldn't even be anything too new for me just to stand and talk :P I'd rather make a hall of shame list to the website and include all characters with over 50 combat or 600 total to it. This would help us to get answers where have our mates gone and it would show the people who broke rules and cut wings from lies and rumours. Also including stats to it, it would show the players that even high lvl paying members can get banned.

What would that help? It would be figured out 10 hours after the update figure out there wouldn't be any point to serve the "10h perm ban". Everyone who had an access to any RS community, to these forums for example, would get the info about that immediately. For verbal abuse and scamming the current system is fine. Also why to waste servers on that? They aren't free after all. That would have nothing to offer and if you read the latest news from Jagex, they banned over 21,000 accounts last week for just 2 different rule breakings. Add others to that and we get around 25k. How many servers would it take? That's right, many. How much does a new server cost? Google it.

No. What would be point of that? If someone got black holed, do you think he'd stay online to be as an example for the others? If they were "forced" to be online (account logged in), it wouldn't really matter are there npc's which look like players or some real players. Second, with all these current rule breakers, we'd soon have 10 servers full of black holed people. Is that what you want? It might have worked when under 10,000 people were online same time, but not anymore. Btw where the hell did you find info of M Oldfield getting blackholed for autoing?

Money itself might grow, but more important is how the money is used. I think we both agree that it's not the same do 20 people have 100k in their banks and not using it or 1 person having 1.5m and using it. Those who buy money won't just let it rot in their banks. Also with all these bans and news, people are most likely buying less rs money. Again it's different is the cash on players who actually spend it or on those who sell it and don't have any other purpose for it. They slowly dropped to even to 80gp and now rose back to 100 just few days ago. In last few days raw materials have been climbing back to the prices they were around 3 months ago.

marry me? Naw just kidding :P Should hit 85 crafting today. Not much xp left and mate is soon done alching the oldies (I got no reason to alch them myself, almost 14m magic xp already.) so it won't even depend about loose cash. Been lately done some w66 crafting and I kinda like it: this fast rc xp can never be bad. Counted I could get 91 rc in around 3 weeks, but dunno do I want to be that hardcore and lose 38 mils there.

27.5.2007 Finally over 80% done, feels good. :P For rank 300 there was a quite big fight, but eventually I got some more xp and can now say I won't be pushed back to 300s anytime soon. Also level is coming soon, only 263229 xp left. 97-98 Will be horrible: not maxed after it so it's mentally harder but the amount of xp is pretty sick. Oh well I've gotten to this point, I won't give up.

Striking against rl trade = less money. On 1st may they said to have taken away 6 billion people. On their newer article they don't mention how much gp has been taken away, but they said to have banned 2.3k accounts. Note that it says 6 billion in gold, not 6 billion worth of materials. I wouldn't be surprised if we had lost at least another 6b in rares, raw materials and other junk. N64jive, you probably wouldn't have had a worse timing on speculating why raw materials are going down :P Lately there has been slight jump in pure ess prices and little downfall in nature runes. Nothing big that would shake the ground, but still something that you can see with your own eyes. Today I saw people buying pure ess 100gp per and selling natures 290gp each. Not a big downfall for natures (and with their abilities they most likely won't even go a lot down from that), but percentually pure ess (80gp-100gp) has risen quite a lot. Also sharks have gotten a bit more worth again. One explanation could be the recents acts from Jagex. First of all they are now really striking against real life trading and paying extra attention on those who buy it. Every time someone gets banned for it, his friends get an example what will/might happen. This has a straight impact on macroing: you got less people buying the gold you've gotten illegally. Add quicker bans on macroing to this and you get some reasons why raw material prices have been going up: less potential buyers for your gold and faster bans to your "slaves" (=auto accounts). It's not a surprise that the prices have been living.

Exactly. If the enemy does something wrong, they are criminals. When we do the same, we are either doing it for democracy, for our freedom or we just made a mistake. The way how things are judged depends about who does them, not what has been done. When the palestinians shoot their rockets (which isn't right either), they are criminals. Basically both are doing the same thing, but only Israel's acts are accepted.
