Not if your in the Wild. However, at the time I was using this (until I wrote this guide), it was practically empty. Mainly because nobody revealed the secret, or knew how to use it effectively.

you won't be in heroes for long. That is a TERRIBLE place to mine rune. The rocks are almost always mined in every world. I mean the spot will be like heroes then , since everyone will go here now Not really, few people can mine rune, even fewer actually do mine rune all the time, even fewer have seen this guide. So it should be ok for the most part. What needs updating? I've heard everything from 40-50k, so around that. I kind of disagree... Even though the ones available from zybez/rune hq are safe. ?? you didn't even quote my whole sentence. I said embed it to the point where it cannot be picked up. Any keylogger will be picked up if you have a good antivirus no matter where it is. I know it can be embedded.

I'm not usually one to rant. This is the first update where I actually got mad over it. I've never had much of a problem with any past updates to my knowledge. Mining is one of the skills that I really liked and they just made the skill harder then it already was. I apologize for overreacting as I see that it can still be used. I just saw this, got frustrated, and vented my anger into a post -.- . I look at the good side of it though, it makes the skill even more worth having as less people will have it the harder it is to get :) . Is there a place in the deser to buy full waterskins? if so we're set :) just to say: I know you can buy filled waterskins for 48 gp ea in pollnivneach (or how you write that city lol), which is probably some minuts walking away.. You can also buy a jug and refill you're skinns here (way faster than using cactusses). w00t were saved :P

Other then the Irc, theres nothing wrong with it...I never even used the auto retry feature for full worlds. I just saved em as a desktop icon and used it from there. It's much faster that way anyway :? . There are hundreds of thousands of players who use it and thousands with much more valuable banks. What makes you think that if a keylogger was actually attached that they would target you? That's the way I see it... Have you not seen the hundreds of "I got hacked" topics? Now, how many of those are using ss? I simply do not trust it, if you want to then go ahead, I still find Chatzilla better to chat. The only useful toll would be the auto-cropping and there's other *legal* programs for that The hackings have nothing to do with SS (outside of maybe IRC). There is no way to embed a keylogger into an [Caution: ExecutableFile] or SS to the point where an antivirus would not pick it up. I've scanned them both with several programs and nothing. If you DL it from zybez's site its 100% safe (outside of the IRC client of course).

I never count for anything. It makes it seem longer then it is.

The energy of the other person was used :wink: . It doesn't matter whether your directly effected by it or not but something was still put in no matter how small.

I've been playing just as long as you and have never been hacked. However I do use SS :lol: . It's safe but if you still choose not too then its your choice.

I have that same problem. I don't use SS though, I use mIRC. what is this mIRC and IRC you speak of? iv never used a third party client only the dude who's guide tells you how to put desktop links for worlds, you own world switching man! I've never used SS either. MiRC is a completely different (legal) program. Most ops/admins here use it. I've been using mIRC for years. I don't understand why people want to use SS so bad. What better options does it offer? With the world delays the world switcher won't work. A stats look up? Big deal, just use mIRC or just open up another page. I never did understand why SS became so popular after the world delays were introduced by Jagex, but maybe I'm missing something.... calculators, world switcher, instant looking up stats, and irc all on the same page might have caught a few people's eyes.... Everything was very easy and conveniant because it was on the same page. Obviously, you don't need it, but its conveniant. :) you forgot the best part, auto cropping and saving for pics, you just press a button and it does everything :D . Since I'm a screenshot taking maniac this is a big deal for me.

*Looks at his Mining Exp* Lol, still don't get it. He has 87Mxp... Point being! Acctually type it, don't "look at things" lol. He still trains the skill to keep in the highscores. Now his training will be slowed down :x

the +f can be turned off in your options. the official tip.it chat was blocked even before this update.
