Can you at least tell me (here or PM) whether its a MMO or not? Because everyone but me seems to think that its going to be an MMO, I seriously doubt that it is... Also, how do you know seem to know lots of insider info about Runescape related stuff? lol

what you just posted is not proof of anything at all, where on there does it say anything about mechscape? and how does that look futuristic? I have no doubt that they will release some kind of game called Mechscape (whether it be an MMo or not), but this is not proof of that at all. also there was no need to make a thread on this.

1.) I think it was 75 2.)I wen't from 75-99 all at once, it took about a month or so. 3.) the potions last quite a long time, I only used a few K's worth. About half of them were donated, Normal energies work just fine though, there cheaper and still last forever (it only takes 15 seconds to bank). I timed it at exactly 52k an hour with never failing and constant run, and no distractions (standing around). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SO, I just got back from my friends 17th birthday party, I think I scored a few points with the girls at my school which is nice. Her step dad is hte biggest jerk ever though! The bonfire that we were making in a big bowl thing wasn't really going well so I went up to Kroger and bought a 4$ thing of lighter fluid, came back, put some on, got the fire going, and her stepdad see's me do this and takes it from me, I never saw it again :evil: :evil: . He also kept giving me the evil eye whenever he saw me. Other then that, awesome evening :D Nice evening.. :P What course should I use to 75 for the fastest xp? I don't recall, I remember I used the wolf course thing alot.

Thats terrible, I always try to be nice to everyone that I meet and If I can't I just keep my mouth shut, I agree with this article fully. It's sad to see a girl kill herself like that, she's a very pretty girl too.

A downloadable client also means a full screen game that can't necessarily be accessed from every computer, and it would also slow things down alot. The ywould need to triple or quadruple their graphics team and basically redo the entire game to get the graphics that good, they are slowly improving graphics but i don't see it becoming a downloadable client game, at least not with RS. Runescape graphics are far beyond what I thought they could accomplish in that programming.

Rs has the most amazing graphics around when compared to other Java games. Now it jagex ran Runescape through a downloadable client that was free to download from the runescape site, then we could really do something :D . They would no longer be using Java, but they would have to basically redo the game.

The amount of time you need to actually get the drop, or the amount of time you spend trying to get the drop puts you in the negatives of exp you could have gained not going to them, the time you could have saved and possibly more money from other drops. It is impractical to do metal dragons as a slayer task, exp wise. its a good thing i play this game for fun, not levels. Who say's levels and fun can't be the same? I didn't say that, but I will do a metals task if I want to because its fun, and I don't let something like less xp an hour stop me from doing something fun in runescape, because thats what it supposed to be about. I do exactly that on a 2ghz Sempron with 768mb of ram and shared video eating into part of that. You by no means needs a dual core and 2gb of RAM. The only real difference is you need that hardware to run Vista at usable speeds. The uses you list are no where near close to using the full potential of a Core Duo + 2gb of RAM if you're running XP. Vista hardware requirements have made everything into a 'you need massive hardware to do simple tasks' argument, and it pisses me off. so what do you recommend I do?

What if people in charge will officalizise it? they should, I don't see any downside to TIF having an official vent server :? somebody will slip up and give away irl info. tipit trys to protects its community, so by endorsing this they are hanging on a thin line. that is done all the time on these forums as well as on their IRC channel, A vent server wouldn't make it any worse than it already is.

Same one only $20 cheaper and 2gb of ram. Personally I would stick to a Intel CPU as your looking for a laptop as they perform better. What's your budget? I don't want to go over 1400$, I only have 766$ but I'm going to save as much as I can and hopefully my parents will pay the difference for christmas :D . The screen on that one is 2" smaller, I wan't the largest screen I can get for a decent price (which seems to be the 17") so I can fit everything where I want it to go. The other laptop has a 17". I didn't answer because I'm not really sure. It's just a matter of getting to know where all the monsters are located and trying to devise ways to get to them as quickly as possible. i guess the best advice I can give is memorize the locations of monsters and don't spend a lot of time jumping from assignment to assignment. Get the assignment and get right to killing, do NOT linger around, it'll go much quicker that way. Use cannon balls whenever possible. Ignore tasks you can't use a whip on. ALWAYS change metal dragon tasks (if you're seriously training the skill up).

actually, I like that computer alot! I think I'll just wait a bit longer for some better parts to insure I'm happy with it. I should be able to save up enough by christmas (work/money I get from my parents for christmas), I balanced my checkbook and I've currently got about 766$, so christmas seems like I should have enough by then.

ok, so this PC has everything but enough RAM. Can I purchase more ram from somewhere and install it? Is it easy to install? It is possible to install more RAM onto that laptop? also, can I plug an external Hard drive into this computer? I'm planning on getting one because I Download lots of things and wont be able to fit it onto this computer alone.

It seems to have just about everything i need on it. I'll just need to go buy a good mouse and possibly get a 500gb+ external harddrive for christmas (I DL alot of stuff lol). This looks like a good computer, but the processor isn't the best: I would recommend a 5000-series processor at the minimum, unless you don't need that much processing power. Otherwise it looks good. MAKE SURE that you are ok with the processor, because it is almost impossible to upgrade. Otherwise, it looks good, especially in the screen. I don't think it has FireWire though, which is something definitely worth considering before you buy it...:| Most of my other concerns have already been said though.
