Paul? thats cool :) . That was taken at the hardrock Hotel in Orlando Florida, its connected to the Universal and Islands of Adventure parks and the room key acts as a fast pass, it was sweet :) . Also, the bands that play Hardrock Live stay at the hotel and a band called 30 Seconds to Mars was staying there at the same time as us. On a side note, smithing is pretty straight forward and quick, its just a bit pricey, nothing compares to the price of Farming however -.-

so lets hope they do this! this will ROCK if they have this update! but they won't - because there could be one seller and become friends with 200 regular customers - and then real world trading is back again The customers I would imagine would not be "regulars", plus from what I've seen, autoer accounts don't last that long, they pack all their materials onto a mule so when they get banned it doesn't matter, they can no longer utilize a mule for mass trades if the gatherers are constantly being banned. I think a 1 month rule would function wonderfully and remove at like 95% of all of the RWT issues while allowing everyone to function properly.

Old wildy is not coming back FFS! of course the old wildy isnt coming back, thats not what I'm talking about. What I'm talking about is ways of balancing the lootshare system and a section of the wild for older pking (which is what they should have done in the first place instead of a minigame). Anyways, Runescape was kind of unique in the ability to lose items if you die. Other MMO's ive seen do not have this and for good reason. I think tis a good thing.

Do people no reolize that this was a quick fix? Jagex is going to make changes to fix things. I believe in the Diary it even states that the banks were threatening them due to autoers being run from stolen credit cards. This puts the whole game at risk of being shut down. I'd rather then do a quick fix then go back and change things that have the game be at risk for closing all together.

I've got almost all the money I need as it is, if that were to happen I'd just ZMI or something since I can't really do nat running anymore with this update. However, I'm going to see what happens, Jagex has already lost alot of members from this so I have a feeling they will do something about it. wait, what happened while i was gone? lol im lost. Revenant monsters? I've been saying that ever since Miscellania came out, I totally agree that they need Pure essence there.

merchanting is just going to evolve into a stock market game. You will buy items that you think will increase in demand due to an update or something, you will hold it, wait a week or 2 for the price to go up (prices are updated daily due to supply and demand) you'll sell it for that increased price. This is how I always thought merchanting should have been in the first place.

bots are not gone, bots will always be around, the only difference is it will be for that character alone or for in game wealth purposes, not for RWT

hahaha so basically they are dead? only a stupid person would go for that, even if it was legitimate.

It's easily understandable that Jagex will make slight adjustments, but where did they say that they've actually lost a lot of business because of this? I remember seeing a post by a "mod Wilson" while browsing the rants board stating they had lost quite alot of memberships already, as well as about half my friends list say that if a change isnt made by next month they will quit as well.

A reaction?? Its only been a friggin day! I can't believe some of the comments people are saying. While I do not agree at all with this update people are seriously jumping the gun on this, the update hasn't been out for more than 24 hours and everyone thinks its the end of the world. There is already strong evidence to support that Jagex will make revisions to this update, they stated they have lost tons of business as well as did not take all of the issues that have risen up into consideration. I'll be surprised if we don't see an update to this later then next week. People just need to cool it and wait and see what happens.

if thats true is very sad, especially since jagex has stated they are going to make revisions to this update, they are not going to leave it like this, especially with the uprising against it.

I was thinking something very similar to this, the lootshare issue was the only one that really really bugged me about this update.
