500k is rubbish money for the guaranteed recovery of items (as long as you aren't too far from a teleport area or something). It's definitly worth buying, I bought mine as soon as I logged in the day of the update.

I've got work till 8, a party tomorrow, and finals studying in between, you wont see me on much at all until wednesday afternoon, however at that point exams are over and I'm free wooooooooooooooooo!!!

How in the world could anyone ever prove that? You couldn't, however if the maple logs keep getting sold to jagex, thus removing them from the economy, it would result in them going up in price after a while since there is less of them in the economy. So somehow it could be proven. And I would love a price graph for some items :D . And to those who think merchanting is dead. Please think outside of the box or move on. Jagex said that the minimum price would be a price that could be sold to a general store for, not just something on the ge, thats so that prices will only drop to a certain point then people could just sell to a store for a better price.

how do you know that he wants to hang out with people? How do you know what he wants to do? In my opinion your only telling him to do things you enjoy, and not what he enjoys. You're ignorant. If a person doesn't want to hang out with people, they need help, obviously you do. If you're telling me wakka does not enjoy hanging out with people, we need your mouth washed with soap. I'm sort of in the middle, I'm not as social as alot of other people, I'm not very outgoing either, but i do enjoy hanging out with people alot, but not all the time. I don't really get why people don't believe that that is me, I don't consider myself attractive so I can't imagine that is what it is. It's rare that I get any female attention.

As you can see I'm terrible with pictures, I took these a few months ago for DGI but I dug them out. It's not my camera either, its my parents, I had to figure out how to use it so they aren't good, it kept snapping pictures when I didn't want it too lol. Also its backwards because I did it with a reflection in the mirror and forgot that it would be reversed -.- P.S. I my Express shirt :D

well you've gotten more D bows that me lol, my total = 0 I spent a few hours there the day it came out then I gave up on it, it wasn't worth it for me since I have 91 rcing (starting too look a bit better now with the increase in rcers lol).

You make it sound like im some single minded player that hates all merchants, which isnt true. Merchants helped to keep prices stable while making profit, or at least the types of merchants that I thought embodied the title of "merchant". Rares, to me, always seemed like more of an exploit, something that was wrong in the game and never fixed (and probably never will be), and because of this I never saw rares as something that should be one of the best money makers in the entire game. Skills and participation in the games functions should be that way to make the most amount of money. I think now it is more balanced, Merchanting will still be a way to make some money, but not as much as you might gain from a skill or killing a monster, its something that can be done on the side by all players, which is how I feel it should have been in the first place.

I liked the suggestion I saw from one place. Basically, you take the item, for example lets use a Dragon Axe. You get off you're trip with 3 friends and someone has the axe. One player volunteers to sell the item and another person puts up the money (market value) for the axe, the money gets split among the 3 people and one player gets the axe and sells it. I don't think that was it exactly, but it was something along those lines.

SEE??!? I knew Jagex would do something, they are not [wagon]es like everybody seems to think they are. The update they released was a drastic move but it was the ONLY way to remove the RWT'ers and now that they are gone they will fix things. Mark stated quite a few changes that players have suggested and that are totally necessary to making the GE work. In their new update post on the RS official site it talks about updates coming to the change this month that will fix issues with it (notably they mentioned the Lootshare system, which to me was the biggest issue due to monster killing being seemingly worthless for groups). I have full faith that Jagex will be able to fix this up to make everybody happy, and for those that want to further complain, well, we don't want you here anyways, theres no need for a negative attitude towards it, its a game and Jagex is doing everything they can to make it best for everyone to enjoy. No, all it did was make merchanting into what it should have been in the first place, buying and sell materials to make a profit. Not manipulating the market so they can horde greed through a mistake that Jagex made years ago (making holiday items tradable). And don't think this is coming from someone who has never owned a rare, I have owned 2 phats and several masks and santas in the past, but I simply held onto them for a very long time. This balances out merchanting with the rest of the game.

Yes that is me and I've got pictures to prove it (not at home). I do go out on weekends, I hardly login on weekends at all, theres just nothing to do after school. Plus there are no girl opportunities at my small private school, I havent had a girlfriend in 3 years now -.- I love how people can say what someone should do just by a picture.
