True or speculation?

Someone said something about "Three month friends", that maybe Jagex will use that to get people who have been friends over a long time to be able to trade as much gold/item as they want.

Can this be true? :?

Wishful thinking

They finally got it right.

It's one of the suggestions floating around, but I haven't seen any proof that would suggest Jagex is going to use it.

aye, but it could be pretty useful, as RWT'ers dont have that much time

I doubt...

I feel confident that they will do *something* to avoid having many of the social aspects of the game ruined. What it is, only they know.

As far as I am aware it is not happening yet, but it is a suggestion that has been noted along with all other suggestions on how to fix the issue of losing old game features.

I know a 3month thing has defiantly been written down..... but as with most things after discussions etc they are unlikely to happen.

sig2webzx7.jpg

I'd like it if they did this.

I just really hope that after all the rantings/riots about the recent updates, that Jagex has seen this as an opportunity to revise the trade cap idea before release :)

Well, they better do SOMETHING. Many good, creative suggestions have been made. Leaving things so that nobody can trade more than 3k differential is unacceptable when there are better options.

And the GE needs a fix too. If the inability to trade openly were already gone, nobody would be able to trade pure ess for about the next two weeks.

what if i remove a friend on accident? does the timer reset? is what im wondering

would the 3month start in jan? or would it be like, you have know this person for 6months come January.... if i have to wait 3months for the timer to go in jan, id be "annoyed" to the point of playing castle wars often.

The "3 month friend" is a popular sugestion right now, so no answers unless you find the post on the Runescape forums.

BTW... "is what im wondering?" :-s

Don't ask me for what I do for fun.

Anyways, what I do for fun (besides RS) is to tear up assignments I get and then try to re-create them. It's so much fun =D.

(I also like differrent things.(and purple ))

Doubt RWTs would bother to wait 3 month for a sale. Anyhow if you delet a friend whos been on your list for 3 months, then you don't have to wait more...

This wouldn't make sense if a cheater adds all of his autoers for 3 months by the time that period is over he could have some serious money?

Unless he faced some reprecussions for having a load of autoers added.

I think that 3 months is a little long, but the friends list thing is an alternative. I believe auto is just plain gone, what good is millions on separate accounts?

Accounts made specifically for autoing may be dead, but I foresee people using macros on their main a lot more now.

The people who make macros no longer have to create new ones for making GP specifically and probably will work on skill trainers now.

Unbalanced trade is going from RuneScape; if anything gets lost alongside it we can find it again, new and improved, with the help and support of our players

so lets hope they do this!

this will ROCK if they have this update!

but they won't - because there could be one seller and become friends with 200 regular customers - and then real world trading is back again

The customers I would imagine would not be "regulars", plus from what I've seen, autoer accounts don't last that long, they pack all their materials onto a mule so when they get banned it doesn't matter, they can no longer utilize a mule for mass trades if the gatherers are constantly being banned. I think a 1 month rule would function wonderfully and remove at like 95% of all of the RWT issues while allowing everyone to function properly.

I'm not sure... I've been level 99 gold-farming runecrafters, and that takes quite a long time to get.

Jagex never release such specific information in advance so I doubt that it's true.

However, it's probably a suggestion that's been doing the rounds and may have been commented upon by a mod or something.

Either way, it sounds like this idea has merit and hope Jagex will incorporate something like this into the game.

Alas, only if Jagex decides to implement it, all will be good again :)
