if autoer's couldn't get through randoms then they wouldn't work, therefore there wouldn't be an autoers, so it was safe to assume that they could do randoms anyways :-k I've seen one do evil bob before (the balloon thing).

I had no idea such a dramatic turnaround was possible that quickly. If it was this easy to quit runescape, theres no way you could have been an addict :uhh: . It wasn't easy, it just took a third party to show me what I was doing (my brother) and I reolized how I was spending all my time with this game. I'm totally enjoying life now, making plenty of money in my free time at work, and spending 2 hours in the gym everyday! I never could have done this sort of schedule playing Runescape.

hey guys! Just thought I'd drop in to say hello and what better of a place to do it than my blog? I think quitting this game was one of hte best moves I've ever done. I was able to work a 6 hour shift today so I made some great money at work. I'm talking to a girl right now that is interested in me and theres like 2 others that I know of that are interested in me too lol, I've never had that once in my life. I'm totally loving life right now and everything is great. Haven't forgotten about my buddies here on RS and tif though so I'll still be posting alot :) . \ \ \ O and six flags trip with some friends friday :D

I don't agree with you, I love it when Jagex does this, ingame and in the updates. It's clever and makes it much fun to read :D .

I've never had problems with console games in the past, its simply the MMORPG's I'll never forget this game since I pretty much browse tif once a day lol. I enjoyed every second of it (accept the alching :P ). Hopefully one day I can come back to this game with a better real life to Runescape balance. But for now I need a long holiday.

well they updated the graphics to all the ore rocks but they didn't change some of the rune rocks (the one in the lava maze and dark beasts). they still look the same as they use to. I guess that counts :lol:

I've just never had the chance to develop my social skills because this game is basically what I've been breathing for the last 4 years. I cancelled my membership, it goes out in like 13 days so I won't be showing up in edgeville anytime soon. Definitely, thats why I posted it. just don't post anything rs related on my message boards, I like to keep real life and rs separate for the most part.

a mod posted on it once I remember., it was something like there are 2 wheels, the first wheel has the common drops and certain spots switch it over to the other wheel. The 2nd wheel has rare drops like dragon items. the wheel is spun and whatever it lands on is what you get. and there is a small chance you'll hit the rare drop wheel which will take you to the 2nd wheel that has the dragon items. The size of this spot chances slightly if you have a ring of wealth on. this doesn't hold true for drops from the boss monsters (metal dragons, kbd, kalphite queen, etc) because there rare drops are a bit more common such as d legs and skirts are not all that rare from metal's as they would be if they were dropped from a standard monster.

it's funny, I had so much free time today :lol: . I called some of my friends to try to go some places but nobody is home, so I just ran some errands that i am usually reluctant to do (go to the tanning bed, get some new guitar strings) I think I'm going to pick up my guitar lessons again to fill some time and go to six flags some this summer. This will be fun :D . on a side note, microsoft extended the warrently to 3 years (around that) for the xbox 360 due to the "3 rings of death" problem. It's become really severe and the company has lost around 1 billion $'s on it so far. Hopefully they will get busy fixing the problem, but in the mean time I get my xbox 360 repaired for free . xbox games dont cause me any trouble so if anybody wants to play with me I'll be on there a fair bit I'm sure. my name is "wakka102" on there so just send me a message and if i'm on send me a chat request, I'd be glad to talk to you :D

'08. There's like (5) releases for 1/18/08 and that was the only one that fit your description. unfortunately, that trailer on Youtube got yanked already :( Oh well, I'll see it when I see Transformers yea, they are removing the trailer but as soon as one get's removed another pops up, so just search "cloverfield" (thats the codename for the project). that should give it to you. or cloverfield project. something like that.

it gives you things to do when there is nothing else to do. in small amounts it can be good for you. You meet people from all different parts of the world and you can learn how economies work in a much smaller setting than the real world (and some interesting aspects to that economy). There's plenty of things you can learn in this game that can benefit you in real life if you look for them.

thats the exact reason that I am quitting. I have an addiction to this game unfortunatly and there cannot be balance for me. Some people have the ability to do that but I can't. The first few days I'd play 2 hours, then i'd go a little over and it would continue like that until I'm back to were I was. I can't stand to watch my 8 yr old brother become arrogant towards my parents and not wanting to do anything because of a game. I just gotta let it go. Thanks for all the comments guys. I won't be leaving tip.it and sometimes I will login to talk to people. Probably monday or tuesday I'll get on to sell some things and buy a few rares to store. It's good to see that you apologized and admit that greed got the better of you and for that i can forgive you. But it's not so much me you should apologize too but ugafan. I like the replies, they make me feel like I've always got a home here when I need it, that I always have good friends here. I will still logon to talk to people sometimes and to keep my account alive. I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but it's time to throw in the towel. I've talked it over with my mom and I've finally come to a realization of how addicting this game really is. People in my neighborhood have labeled me as being completely antisocial, I don't know how to communicate with people well, and the amount of time I spend playing takes up too much of my life. This game is a drug, and just like any other drug it causes problems to those around you. I've also begun to see this gaming habit in my brother. He plays Warcraft 3 online and he is only 8 years old, however he often neglects to go to places that would seem lots of fun to any 8 year old. Examples being the movies, or white water, or six flags. I don't want this fate for me or my brother so I've decided to kick the habit completely. I only have this problem with online games so I will still use my xbox 360 when I get some free time, my username is "wakka102" on there. I will still get on tif to post sometimes and stay in touch with friends. I will be keeping everything I have in my bank as well as selling the remainder of the nature runes I've made bringing me to about 40-45m which I'll place into rares. I may return someday when I can better cope with the amount of time spent playing, but there is a history of addicts in my family to various things and I unfortunately have picked up the gene. this stuff has me pumped lol. the monster is referred to as "The parasite". I can't wait until more is released about this. It would be even cooler if they never said what the monster was up until the actual film is released, so you'd have to go and see the movie to find out what its all about. I can't think of any movie that has done anything like that before.

I went to see Transformers and noticed a movie trailer that went like this: people are partying, then an earthquake occurs and everyone runs to the roof, then there is an explosion, and everyone runs outside, and the trailer suddenly ends, giving a release date of something like 1/18/08? It never says what movie it is and for some reason its just eating me up not knowing. If anybody has any info on this trailer or any thoughts on it please post.

That was one of the coolest movies I've seen in a while, they did a great job with it :D Does anybody know what movie the trailer was talking about with the party and the earthquakes and the explosion? It never said but I'm curious if anybody has any ideas, its really bothering me :(
