I've heard a theory of about a worm hole within the earth that could be causing it, similar events are occurring on a different sea that is on the opposite side of the world from the triangle (I saw this on a discovery channel thing I believe) I don't know much about the topic but it's just a thought. There is something there that causes electronic devices to go screwy though. They took out a boat on the show and some of there computers started to do odd things that they weren't suppose to do. As well as that entire fleet of planes that went missing over the triangle.

Backyard Burgers :P :P It's fine there, I don't have to work long hours (I like to spend my summer with friends) and the schedule is really flexible, If the schedule has a day I cant work I can usually swap with someone. Also the people that work there are really cool, they aren't all people who don't speak good english (although there are 1 or 2 but most are white teenagers). So yea, I like my job :) I'm going to guess that you work at some sort of clothing store like Hollister? Thats just what came to mind because thats all I ever see the employees do there accept for checking out items and folding clothes.

yea but you know how jagex likes to put puns and silly things into the game, it would not surprise me if we had modern day instruments disguised slightly like medieval ones.

16 hours a day is pretty bad. I've done it a few times but I didn't put anything off to play that amount of time, I just simply had nothing better to do with it. but 16 hours every day is tooooo much. Thats the kind of person that needs some intervention. It's not hard to quit rs but alot of people don't see it as an addiction and therefore don't take action against it. Not everyone can break it themselves because they don't see their own errors. If a loved one is spending tooo much time on the game you should show them you love them by stopping them.

If i was still playing the game I'd fork it over in a second. Since I seemed to spend lots of my free time here, 50$ or so isnt bad.

why was there a rollback? there must have been a serious problem for them to do a rollback. They didn't do a rollback even during the falador massacre and I thought they would have then so it must have been something very serious :?

I'd tell myself how to make money (since I didn't really figure out good ways until about a year later) and to get as many rares as i could manage and hold them (this was back in RSC and santas were 200k etc.).

the updates are fine to me. I find it ironic a bit that you're complaining about the updates from complainers lol.

The only animal in this world we should be afraid of is man, man is the most violent animal and one of the few (I only know of like 2 others) that will attack another for a reason other than self defence or food. Just thought I'd say that :) I've got fishing plenty of times but I've never killed any major land animals that I can think of.

the thing is that not everyone has the same kind of personality as you. Some people are just much more susceptible to addictions like this. Some people can smoke a cigarette every once in a while and never feel the urge to do it anymore than that while others have to smoke constantly. My point is that you can't really judge until you've been in there shoes, I was able to break the hold it had over me but some people need help to do it or at least some intervention.

I found that the best way to quit RS is to force you'reself to get a job with lots of hours. As soon as you do this you'll ween yourself off the game and after about a week without playing you will no longer have a desire to play, its simply that week that is very difficult to get through. This game may be addicting but hte addiction is not as hard to break as other drugs are. This is simply advice to those that want to break the addiction, some are just fine where they are :) uhhh i don't understand, could you clarify? oh and also, that's the only part of the bible i really know, so don't add in any more bible stuff. i have to read it one of these days, but i don't have one at my house.... I reeealy hope you just forgot to put your sarcasm tags on that response... sacrasm tags for what? that he hasnt read the bible or the other comment? I havent read the bible either. I do think the bible bit was a bit unnecessary though, we don't want a religious flame war in general p2p :ohnoes:

it's fine with me but I don't really have a problem with anything as long as party A isn't hurting party B then they can do anything they want. I don't plan to wait until I'm married to have sex so I don't have a problem with it. In fact, I don't plan to get married at all.

definitely when someone would as me "how long will it take me to get 99 in X skill?" I mean, how should I know how many hours a day you play and be able to calculate you're speed? It's such an impossible question and I got very tired of hearing it.

third party software is not against the rules, only ones that give ingame advantages do, programs like SS are great! I used to use SS for a time but I found a program that took screenshots for me and that was just about all I used it for.

I agree with you on all points accept for statements about people you don't know. Online friends can be just as awesome as real life friends, thats one of the few great aspects of online games.
