Now I am finishing off quests, getting money in my Misc coffers, and doing level 3 clues without fear of having to drop a clue I dont have access too. I did it at 125. I guess for someone who wanted to "Beat the record" youd need to have Maxed Total level without doing the quest, as multiple people have stated there are some 126's wo it. I agree with you on most of what you are saying. Alot of peopel complain without knowing all of the facts, I am guilty of it sometimes but as soon as I calm down and learn the facts, there is always a good reason as to why it was done.

as do all games, you have to weed out the immatures from the matures. It's not like you can't pick who you are friends with...

where did you see that? taking screenshots is perfectly fine... Oh, I believe I got confused with the part about the programs that helps make screenshots easier and got confused. Thanks. things that take screenshots easier are fine too. It's when you manipulate the game client with fast access to worlds and dyamic sigs that jagex has a problem with.

the guy who owns draynor.net is redoing the dynamic sigs to make them manually updated. So they will be legal again before too long.

ok, well, can you confirm on whether or not bookmarking is legal or not? or whether its detectable or not?

You're either being sarcastic or over reacting. Bookmarking can't be illegal because it would be impossible to detect. There is no way that Jagex can tell if you went to the front screen before going to a world. As long as you access a world with IE or FF its fine.

No, the latest had a "World Watcher" that notified when a world was open That's fine, then. As I said a few posts back. Swift and other clients are not illegal. Just the worldswitcher feature. What you are describing is fine. That's exactly what Jagex is asking him to do. As long as it starts up at the main page, it's perfectly legal. The last version of Swift I have seen (and all the others such as RSDraco) had the loophole feature that took you straight to that world without waiting (still had the 30 second rule, but you could bypass full servers). I am not sure about recent Swift versions. I'm not sure the last time you used SS but it hasn't been able to bypass full worlds for a very long time. Also, where do you get all your info on Jagex from? Do you work for them or know someone who does?

Slayer is the hardest 99 to get followed by runecrafting. Farming can't be compared because it costs money not time.

Personally I think runescape is way better then wow. That is my personal preference.

If all thats true then I will stop caring about not being able to do stat lookups and irc in the same window. both of those will be fine, strider will update SS again to remove the world switching im sure. the problem with stat lookups is when they are automated like the dynamic sigs. If you are doing it yourself its not constant so its ok. As well as IRC, if doesnt give in client advantages. So neither of what you stated is part of the issue. I've also gotten word from the guy that runs Draynor.net. The stat sigs will become manually updated to solve the issue so they will be back up before too long :) .

Ah, even after getting 89 whips it's still completely thrilling to see that piece of barbed leather on the ground :)

Exactly, mroe money for Jagex could mean more staff imployee's, leading to better customer service? more worlds? better updates? Also, with us eating less bandwidth, the site should run faster.

It wont let you into any full world. It makes you wait like everyone else. it just lets you refresh the page without having to go back to the main homepage. Well they would rather people all have to do it the same way. Less clicks means an advantage, no matter how small. They don't have a problem with all of the things that don't effect the actual game (calcs, guides, irc, etc.) because they don't effect they're actual client or manipulate it in any way. However, getting into worlds without having to do anything, even if you have to wait, is easier then people using the official client. Thats why jagex doesn't allow it. Dont think I'm against world switchers though. It wasn't until yesterday that I stopped using SS in the first place, but I can see where Jagex is coming from with this. Also with world switchers sometimes more peopel could get into the server then were allowed, and with all of the people trying to get in it puts ALOT of stress on the server. This is when you run into issues like the one in world 2 where you couldn't see everyone, so sometimes someone would trade you and you could not find the person, when you clicked to trade back it says "person could not be found". It happened to me several times and refreshing the page (going to a "load" spot) doesn't always fix this.
