  1. That was another one of my predictions would be the raise in price for some runes. Please share your insights then that don't require millions of gp to start, eg. merchanting rares.
  2. Ouch, the air prices just killed me. At my current level of 60 RC, I had to sell airs at 18.33ea to break even. As it turns out, only RuneCrafters level 66+ will now benefit from this, as they can sell for 16ea and still make money. I'm still checking prices on other non-member item commodities. I'll update the beginning thread soon.
  3. But you see, if prices do go up, like if the shop sold deaths for 400ea now, you'll most likely see people selling deaths at 375ea instead of 300ea. Same for airs. RuneCrafters will realize that with them being the cheapest source of runes, they'll be able to raise prices leaving others without choice. If the shop begins to sell airs 25ea, airs will be 20ea going up 5gp.
  4. NOTICE: As soon as I finish checking the update on the prices and shops, I will edit this thread. Nearly every shop now has infinite stock. Only a select few don't and that's because their stock contained only player-sold items in the first place. -Will this truly solve the store-bot problem or will it just adapt and find another way to abuse the game? Please remember people, I'm talking about STORE-bots. This update was created to stop them. How well has it done? -As a RuneCrafter, I'm worried that I will no longer be able to merchant my wares. All lower RuneCrafters will not make any fast money if they choose to hire runners. As I am not a member, I don't know the full extent to any of any member item commodities. If you have any please post them. Please share your insights on what major problems most likely will arise and if it's worth the problems it solves.
  5. I would really like it if you left the search box on even after you get results. Because if I misspell a word, I've gotta close the window then click on 'Change.' It'd be easier if you just left the search box and we can retype it.
  6. Like I said, why should Tutorial Island be removed to please those that just want to skip it on a new account they made? The fact that you already know how to play and just making another account doesn't entitle you to skipping it. RuneScape isn't meant to be played with more than 1 account, and so if you make another do another account, it will be treated as if it was your first and only account.
  7. Man, I don't think anyone got that joke -.-
  8. While Jagex doesn't mind you creating new accounts all that much, don't take that nonchalance so far as to say that Tut Island should be removed to suit the "needs" of people who create new accounts like it's an OCD. What's wrong with just 1 account? I used to have that previously mentioned OCD. I think most people go through that phase. I would always make a new account once it got too boring to level an old one. I think it keeps giving people a feeling of accomplishment once they gain like 10 levels in 20 minutes on a new account.
  9. I'm not racist, I own a color tv...
  10. I'm F2P, and I think that doing things the harder way, even though it's stupider as well, deserves more credit. Getting to the ultimate goal of a combat level of 126 as a pure nonmember deserves more than a PC Product member, don't you think?
  11. While the title does ask which is harder to level, what he asks here is which deserves more credit. And while yes it is easier on members because of more options, that doesn't answer which gets more credit. PS: I recommend you change your title. I think people are missing the point.
  12. Almost 1000 total levels, and 86 combat. Never been member, or owned a member account.
  13. If you look at what skills you can buy level 99 for prayer is pretty much the easiest way and fastest way. You just need a lot of cash to buy all the dragon bones, and you can get it within a few days.
  14. Well, why would people call you these versions of noob? Do you support potting in the wildy, or do you think it's nooby? There are many Codes of Conduct in PvP situations in RuneScape, most of which revolve around these. I would include teleporting and running in this, but I didn't.
  15. I'm quite confident in saying that everyone who goes out and PvPs will always be called a noob by someone. The reasons? -Defense -Prayer -Potting- - Strength/Range/Mage Pure The question is, why? The answer: All of them Are Advantages -Defense- "z0mg, I can't hit j00 through all dat armour" Defense is a part of combat. These people fork over the time and money to actually not take damage. Others think that higher defence is just a waste of combat levels because you take mostly the same amount of damage. -Prayer- I'm sure Prayer is viewed as another way of potting, but with more variety and other special abilities. You can greatly decrease the damage you take, and then increase your damage at the same time. -Potting- That special little something that can boost your strength level 12.5%. Steroids, as I call them, are frowned upon by those who don't use them and praised by those who do. -Pures- Well, where to start. Pures as we all know are pretty much RuneScape's "combat specialists." Being able to do great deals of damage at low combat levels, this species of 'Scapers is what all PvP is known for. --------------------------- I constantly see this in the Wilderness, and people have different views on what is considered a noobish thing to do and what isn't. Please add your thoughts on any subject. Very good arguments will be quoted in their respective category.
  16. Jagex has updated it. Now when you're in a trade, you can switch to the Trade Chat under the chat box to communicate with the person you're trading with.
  17. last 1 rolled back an hour Are you stupid? The max it rolls back to is 15 minutes. I want everyone to know that cause it's total bs when people say they lost like 200k exp in a 15 minute rollback. The servers save the data every 15 minutes, so when it crashes it goes back to the last saved data.
  18. It was a 15 minute rollback. There's no way in hell you lost 150k ranged exp.
  19. Locutus B0rg comes from Star Trek. Captain Picard becomes a Borg and is called Locutus of Borg. I was gonna do Locutus Borg but that name was taken. I've had him added in my friend list ever since I've made this account and I've never seen him log on. PS: My guy is dressed as Picard.
  20. What happened to the link at the Tip.It main screen? In the 'Community' section on the left, there used to be a link for Marketplace. Now it's gone! I might be going insane, but I swear there was one there.
  21. Oh, snap! I just realized who did it. Man, totally forgot about them. Sorry for the inconviencence.
  22. I'm not sure if this is in the right forum or not. Tell me if it isn't. Well, I remember checking out Tip.It a while back. And when I say "a while back" I mean WAY back. So far back, I can't rememeber anything about Tip.It. Back then I had no use for the forums, mainly just the Calculators. When I 'discovered' the forums, I immediately registered. But today something popped into my mind. "Didn't the forums used to have a Forum Gold?" You know, where when you post a thread, it would say "You have just made .5 FGP." (FGP - Forum Gold Pieces. Not sure what it really was FGP or not) And with that FGP, you could 'buy' a raffle ticket for, well, raffles. Giveaways with like 500k, 2000 FGP, things like that. Now, I'm not absolutely POSTIVE that it was Tip.It that did this. I have a small little itch in my head telling me it was another site. And I hate asking this, but if anyone could give me any information to if Tip.It was the one who did this (And why they got rid of it), I would be extremely grateful. Now, I know it's against the rules to recommend other sites, and I respect if you don't wanna post it here. But anything like, "Tip.It does not do this, it was a different one" would help me. You don't even have to tell the site. I am a LOYAL Tipiter! But I will always be incomplete until I can figure this out!!!
