24th August - The Light Within
It was too NSFW/18+. We have anime maid outfits and tentacle-themed attacks. That ship has sailed. The ship in question being the HMS Naughty Tentacle, of course. Because we also have that.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
*Cough* Considering picking up a PS4, because it seems like it's trying to say "come for Bloodborne and Persona, stay for all the stuff that was at E3".

Not denying that TWW deserved its rank (for impact, if not for raw requirements): it's more an argument for jumping this one up. Since Branches of Darkmeyer would add 76 WC and a couple of 70s, you're looking at pretty similar requirements to Plague's End.

But they've always maintained that levels only are what determine a Grandmaster quest. This was first discussed after the release of the embarrassingly bad Nomad's Requiem quest. But that standard hasn't been valid since The World Wakes, which, by the looks of things, is going to have its sole requirement changed/removed.

That would push the level requirements above those of Plague's End, wouldn't it? There really isn't much reason not to call it a GM quest by that standard, unless the quest itself won't be especially long or hard.

Really wish it wasn't too late for them to add an actual class system. Maybe through endgame gear that buffs certain abilities and locks you out of others?

That was also the case with Branches of Darkmeyer, so for perhaps the first time ever, they're actually being consistent! That is some gorgeous concept art though.

Things That Make You Smile :)
There is nothing quite like reading up on a quest in another MMO and seeing an entire comment section calling BS on the developers for putting out literally impossible content, with many claiming to have bought their way past it because it's just not worth putting up with the gameplay... When I had done the quest solo some months ago with minimal effort. I mean, a community of mostly endgame players that can last for hours in defense missions against enemies that can pretty much one-shot anything the player has to offer, and they can't handle enemies that peak at upper-mid levels. This must be why people troll. That level of salt is much more amusing than it should be.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Yeah. It almost felt like it could have been two separate movies, and the second half was just plain underwhelming even before the ending. Prior to that: Jurassic World. I get that it's Hollywood and it's more than a little unreasonable to expect anything resembling accuracy from them, but it almost feels like it could have been a better movie if they had taken fewer liberties.

Dev Blog: QP master cape
Sort of goes back to the argument that it shouldn't have the generic skill cape stats, doesn't it?

Wasn't that Firemaker's Curse? In the community's defense, the next highest level was like 80 or something. Never mind that the quest would still have been pretty forgettable even if they kept the requirement intact.

Part of a problem is that they waited so long to do it, I think. It might have changed the direction of a lot of post-quest content if it was made with the trimmed quest cape in mind instead of the trimmed comp cape, or maybe the more 'rigorous' or strange requirements would have just remained trim requirements (Livid/Chompies) or easter eggs (half the Elf City titles/Annihilator). Pretty much everything they've proposed has fit the guidelines, but they're so broad that it's basically just become the trim cape without the levels/minigames. Can the guidelines be changed to fit what the community thinks the 'master' quest cape should be?

Assuming 1 trip per minute. That's 328 hours (without boosts). So you are saving 1.09% of the total time by using the spell vs the Mage. Is that worth the time it takes to unlock the spell? I guess it's up to the player to decide. Well, how long does it take to unlock the spell?

Okay, but the argument you linked happened because people with your mentality don't listen when something challenges your preconceptions :v What do you mean? Sweeping statements about why an entire demographic could do to be happy, while ignoring what they say makes them unhappy, not doing the research on it yourself because it might make you unhappy, and enforcing labels that simply are not adequate... which is part of what makes people in that demographic unhappy. Sort of the same vibe I get from a lot of religious speakers; it feels like it's more about validating your own happiness than it it about helping other people find theirs. Also I'll take notes on passenger demographics next time I have to fly down to Arizona. Would the fact that it's the southwest skew the results, and will they even let me take a pencil on the plane? I'm pretty sure those are more dangerous than bottled water, after all.
