  1. Think about it more like asexuality, then.

Doop. Christ, that was nearly a year ago. Further dark times: spending many years vehemently denying that on this very forum, and generally being a heteronormative shit. in short, i came to the internet a straight, conservative Catholic and left it a pansexual agnostic queerblob. THE MORAL GUARDIANS WERE RIGHT

I'm reminded of the years where I obsessed over Dream Theater Those were dark times

    You mean you're not?
  6. But remember: there is enough low-level content, it's fine and not at all horrible on a fundamental level
  7. I trained on the frozen floors before they were coolPun intended?Always.
  8. Beats 200mscape without actual milestone marker levels.Debatable. Maybe if most of the skill chart wasn't loaded with empty levels as they currently are...
  9. I trained on the frozen floors before they were cool
  10. Sunless Sea has the kind of lore and atmosphere that I've been craving for far too long. Also Warframe is too damn addictive

Then what the hell are you even doing here?

Just saying that we can go on and on about how simple and silly racism really is, but it has a lot of serious effects on a lot of people. I think that people tend to (like to) forget that you don't have to be a card-carrying bigot to be prejudiced, and the scariest effects are unconscious (such as thinking a black person is inherently more of a threat, or more deserving of a harder sentence, or what-have-you).

Well you could go into history and how that feeds into current social conditions and representation, unconscious responses (like Randox just mentioned), probably economics... I am just academic enough to overcomplicate things like that. Yes, saying it's completely made up. The explanation is a simple one: most of the country does not think America won in Vietnam, and especially nowadays we feel that we should never have gotten involved over there in the first place.

Typically we hate when people say negative things about our country because most of the time they're flat out making things up, like so. Racism is a complicated topic and oversimplifying it like the last 10 or so posts have done is a disservice to everyone involved. :v
  17. But... My righteous indignation? Now where am I supposed to go to get angry? Very interested in seeing this new experience scale. Could they maybe be using it to test the waters for skill reworks?
  18. ...Which is why he's always disavowing the actions of his more extreme followers, instead of taking a more active hand in preventing them. Saradomin, if they could actually write, would be a perfect "I do terrible things myself so my followers don't have to" character, and even admits to having that mindset. Again though, neither of them has really had much development in terms of ideals, it's just that Zamorak's philosophy has been blatantly whitewashed to hell and back and Saradomin is only not a one-note tyrant if you already support him. Even then, the order versus chaos dichotomy in fantasy is kind of played out and really prone to favoritism, anyway.
  19. You have a fair bit more confidence in their ability to avoid padding than I do Starting it at 2 80s is a bit of an odd choice, too. How will the early levels work? Maybe focus on components and techniques, so that you don't just blow past them?
  20. Just like Zamorak. The only real difference is that Zamorak is less rude to you, personally. He's basically Shin Megami Tensei's take on Lucifer: charismatic, idealistic, seemingly reasonable... But if you start thinking his endgame won't make the world a shitty place to be for a lot of people then you're probably not paying attention. Also it's fun to watch him take responsibility for the actions of his followers.

As a former pmod, its not like there was anything we possibly could have done about it anyways. Yeah, they actually listened to us less than the rest of you :-D
  22. Part of that might be that every other piece of armor had a completely negligible soak score
  23. Which is kind of what everyone wanted tank armor to have since before there even was tank armor
  24. Can I just say that if I were a new player today, there's no chance in hell that I'd pick up either version Runescape? The game has nothing to offer to anyone who wasn't involved with it years ago.
