Update Size vs Frequency
Run Deal and the like were built on being completely absurd. BHTB was... well, Bacon Addiction: The Questening. That was about it. Funny, but not exceptionally so.

Dimension of Disaster – 200th Quest
I'm starting to think that Jagex just does better with parody and small-scale personal drama than high fantasy epics. Whoever wrote this thing was clearly having fun with it and, for me at least, the dialogue more than made up for the underwhelming rewards and mechanics (seriously, that Zemouregal fight was just... Bleh). Also that override for Arrav's sword is beautiful.

16-Mar-2015 - Ninja Graphical Updates | Skillcapes | Pyramid Plunder
Which wouldn't be so bad in itself if they weren't pushing these little competitions so often. Their current player base is very much in the demographic that has full time jobs/education to worry about.

Future Update Discussions
Slightly Funny is what I'm going for. If it helps, I say the exact same thing about my own work. And I mean "exact" :v I'm just really wondering where the numbers came from. I think WGS still took me a lot longer than that even with a guide, and even most GM quests can definitely run longer without (especially Plague). Whether I'm slow or not, it was just a bit odd to see them go back on those numbers so quickly when padding them would probably make the number more accurate. Basically, it just feels like they're disowning their own hype train when they really don't need to, and it's a bit silly.

Should there be a RuneScape live-action movie?
Maybe if the game had an actual budget...?

- WGS is the longest quest at 3:10 SO HOW ABOUT THAT FOUR HOURS OF GAMEPLAY IN PLAGUE'S END, EH JAGEX?

The easiest option would just be to offer the old models as an override, wouldn't it?

Can't say I expected to see "smithing" and "too profitable" in the same sentence.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
It's mostly usability/convenience changes. The lore is pretty much the same, with maybe some cosmetic/background changes in a few scenes, I think?

2 March 2015 - Beta: EoC/Legacy Mash-up
Yaay positive feedback. Lower level content is broken or useless -> low level players jump ship -> no reason to fix low level content. It works~ It's pretty easy to see why they wouldn't want to give out T90, considering how many massive problems there were with lower-level things only being possible in T80+ because that's all people tested in...

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
That depends on how far you are, because of spoilers. [spoiler=Keeping plot stuff out of it, but it still may be wise to wait until you finish the game if you haven't already] Main thing is really to just not use the same resource for both food and levels, because it's pretty easy to get resource starved and that gets downright brutal the longer you go. The penalties get pretty steep no matter what you go for because... well, you're penalized for not investing in either, but there's never enough to avoid the penalties. A lesser note would be... Basically the entire battle system. It all looks brilliant on paper, but alternating between individual characters rather than factions punishes you for winning (and allows that one last enemy to steamroll through your weakened troops more often than not), the guard system heavily favors the enemies (especially late in the game), and tying health and damage to the same stat turns it into a game of rocket tag, again stacked in the enemies' favor once they start outnumbering you and bringing out their big units.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
It's almost held back by its gameplay. I mean, you have an absolutely beautiful game with a stunning, atmospheric world... built into a pretty poor turn-based strategy mechanics and an awful resource system? It could have been something life-changing

So about that Majora's Mask remake... Such a huge improvement over the one OoT got a few years back.
