Following up on Tyler's post: even if most of the protests are peaceful, it just takes one idiot acting out to spark things - whether that someone is someone who doesn't care about the issue and is using the situation as an excuse to go nuts, a trigger-happy cop/rioter, someone who wants to discredit the movement... You know, things that we internet-dwellers should be very familiar with. Granted, I'm not following the case in any capacity (aside from tangential exposure through Tumblr-enthusiasts and/or casual racists - both renowned for their lack of bias)

I was under the impression that it was yet another "which of these should come first" poll.

You can ignore signatures through ignore preferences, though it's not exactly an elegant solution.

Even if there's literally nothing but precedent for the opposite? I haven't really seen many high level players do so much as acknowledge that lower-levels exist, let alone have interests that are worthy of being represented. And Jagex currently seems to believe that tweaking completionist requirements is higher-priority than fixing blatantly unbalanced and useless content... I wonder where they got that idea. Really, you're asking the wealthy what it's like to be homeless and expecting the answer to be anything but inaccurate.

The double standard of luck-based completionist requirements versus literal gambling, I think. Jagex fought hard against the latter (by doing everything but the sensible thing, but that's not the point) but they only seem to be getting more fond of the former. It's a bit of an apples and oranges comparison, and in the elf city's case it's probably more of an issue than it could have been thanks to bad balance.

I'm sorry, but I think you misspelled "beautiful". At least it might make T90 less of an eyesore by comparison Not that I disagree, of course. And considering their track record, "maybe at a later date" means "sometime after Half Life 3 is released".

Especially with all the hype they poured into crystal singing. I'm sorry, but getting a rare (their word, not mine) and untradeable drop from one of the guards, then spending god knows how long at the harps for 1700 dust... all for a single permanently degading T80 weapon? I mean, I'm not even close to being an efficient player and I can tell you're better off just paying to have it charged, except why would you do that when you could get a permanent and (most likely) longer lasting royal crossbow for less?

New skill: aggressive fletching

Polls General Discussion
Maybe we are tired of safescape and want the element of danger back in our games. You can't die, you can't lose items, nothing is dangerous, free stuff and exp is handed out left and right. You can leave your character logged in in the middle of a dangerous dungeon filled with scary and angry dragons and demons and nothing will happen. Everything wants to cuddle you and hold your hands. What the hell is the point? Why are dark evil wizards south of Varroc so scared of me? Why don't muggers want to mug me? Why aren't pirates trying to take over my treasures? Why is there nobody trying to kill me in the Wilderness when I wear a damn partyhat? Join me for a group hug. Honestly, I don't think any of this has to do with aggressive monsters, nor do I think that aggressive monsters will do anything more than inconvenience people. Nothing is dangerous because once you get even T80 gear your character may as well be a couple of steps from godhood. When you have a high level character in just about any game it makes perfect sense for a world full of otherwise mundane creatures to be completely beneath notice. In short, muggers don't want to mug you because you're wearing the last thing that tried to kill you as a hat.
