In p2p- Buy steel bars for 600 each. Smith them into cannonballs. Sell those for 180 each. That's 30 profit per ball, 120 profit per bar. In f2p- Impossible :(.

Cooking gaunts don't actually lower your burn rate for monkfish. Only for tuna, lobs, swordies, and sharks. And no, I don't know when you quit burning them. If you want to cook on a range, you can use the one in lumby. Use the RFD bank chest downstairs. The lumby cook's range has a lowered burn-rate built in.

Darkblade - You're completely correct about future tradeable holiday rares being close to worthless. An anecdote for you: during the halloween event last year (15 months ago) when we got zombie heads, a friend of mine believed that the sweets you stole from the kids would stick around after the event. I pointed out to him that Jagex had said several times that the sweets would disappear after the event, but he thought they were lying. So he spent the entire event -- some two weeks -- gathering up these sweets for several hours a day. He ended up with something like 10k sweets. Then, when the event was over, all sweets turned into chocolate dust. My friend was crushed. I laughed at him pretty hard. But then he realized that now he had 10k chocolate dusts in his bank, which sell for 500gp each (back then), and he sold them all for 5M! Moral of the story: Being stupid and crazy can pay off sometimes.

You should be able to buy 1k deaths from the shops in a couple of hours. Not a week.

Sorry, but with your combat levels, none of the monsters you can fight will have very good drops :(. You can range fire giants, which have some of the best drops in the game for their level. You can melee moss giants, which drop valuable seeds. You can melee ankous in the stronghold of security, which are supposed to have pretty good drops for their level. But again, you aren't going to find any monsters that you can fight that will drop anything earth-shattering.

It takes a lot of time and dedication to make a lot of money in this game. When you're rune-merchanting, are you buying from the shop? Or are you buying from other players? (You should always buy from the shop) You say you have trouble finding buyers. You should be devoting more of your merchanting time to finding sellers. The trick to merchanting isn't buying "low" and selling "high" - it's buying "low" and selling "average".

Ultra mega super uber TOP SECRET TIP to gaining ranged levels: People sell black throwing knives for 40-50gp each because they don't know how great they are. Buy a couple thousand whenever you feel like training range. The warrior's guild is a good place to buy them, since cyclopses drop a ton of them and the people who get them as drops don't usually want them very much. LOTS of people have these in their bank and would jump at a chance to sell them.

Well, you haven't given very much information (i.e. how much is your total bankroll, will you be needing the money for anything else, how you intend to profit, etc....); given that, I'd say it's worth about 10m.

I know the original post author is gone, but in case he/she comes back... ...You say you're willing to spend money on it. Well, just buy all the herbs, WFVs, and seconds you need. It should only take you a couple hundred thousand gp. No need to waste time at chaos druids if you're willing to waste money at merchants.
