Lol. You're right that you'd have to cut a lower number of maple trees. But willow trees are three times faster to cut. So you get more experience per hour with willows than maples. Good luck! :)

Probably shouldn't bring super sets, but what's your barrows-method? That might dictate whether it's a good idea.

Well, if you're doing it for the levels/experience, you'll gain levels much faster on willows. But if you're doing it for cash, it's a toss-up. It's just a matter of opinion, really. Do whichever you like :).

Hmmmmm.... let's see..... Aha. I have learned a valuable lesson this day.

When PC first came out there were offical worlds. But eventually, they became clogged with low-leveled players who slowed games down too much for high-levels' tastes. So high-levels formed clans (the most notable one being "affliction") whose sole purpose was to grind out PC games quickly. These clans change worlds constantly, keeping their worlds as secret as possible to discourage party-crashers. The "official" worlds now are fairly slow for high-level players. What's your combat level? That's the big factor... And yes, you keep everything if you die during PC. You don't even leave your current game. You are just teleported back to where you started and you can immediately rejoin the fight.

I wouldn't call it "really really" bad luck. Maybe just normal bad luck. 30 runs is a long dry-spell, but there are tales of 75+ runs with nothing. And on the bright side, you're getting tons of cheap mage exp (depending on how you're doing it). So your luck isn't that bad :).

Yeah - I did the searches too. The hardcore merchants are trying to buy it for 600k and the individual sellers are asking for 900k-1m. Tip.it forum price guide lists 700k-900k. Official forum price guide lists 1m-1.5m I saw the official forum price and thought ( :shock: ) I just got an amazing deal! But not so sure any more...

You'll also want to do Priest in Peril so you can get into Moritania.

They're exactly the same speed, and have the same hits and everything. The only difference is that the poison will hit higher (little green blobs - not red blobs) with higher-level poison. ALSO: You DO get exp from poison in ONE circumstance: You get Slayer exp if it's your slayer monster. No other combat exp.

I don't merchant, and I certainly don't keep track of barrows prices. I've seen three different price guides, and they all have totally different numbers for this. I just bought guthans skirt for 750k. Is that a good deal? Did I get ripped off? Is it about average? Anyone know?

Most theories about kill counts revolve around the theory that everything you kill drops something, but that drop doesn't show up until you open the chest. So if you killed Karil 20 times in one run (impossible, obviously), you'd have 20 times greater chances of getting one of Karil's pieces. This extends to the other barrows monsters. Many people believe that the more monsters you you kill (like spiders, skeletons, bloodwurms, etc.) the greater are your chances of getting more runes/coins/racks. These are all theories though! No one knows for sure how it works except for Jagex!

Did you recently update your browser from IE 6.0 to IE 7.0? I hear that's giving some people trouble...

This is a fun guide :). Suggestion: Include a side-view on all the pictures. I know it would take a lot of work, but it would make it an even cooler guide.

I would recommend doing it the other way around - wear melee armor and protect from mage. Bring a ton of sharks and you'll be fine.

My suggestion: Do NOT kill river trolls (lvl 159) for slayer. They only give 3 xp, even through they have 100+ hp. :lol:

My main is a white male (because that's what I am ;)). But all my other accounts are black females. My pure mage pker even has the name "Randomfemale". I find it to be a much more interesting game experience when people's first impression of you is slightly different.

You can sell unlimited chaos to the tzharr shop and the price never changes. (It's always 9). It doesn't matter if the shop stock is 50k or whatever.
