Clothing - Updated
Sounds like a cool idea, and makes perfect sense. You could make wizard/monk robes too. This should be in suggestions btw.

We don't need ":)".
IMO, it would be the same thing as someone smiling after they said a speech. Would you really get angry at someone for SMILING after, say, they made a speech announcing their new CEO position for a company?

Black Dragon Task
I would if I were you. Regular black dragons can be very crowded, and it could take a VERY long time to kill 75 of them. If you really want to kill the regular ones, your best bet is probably range. Just wear full dhide, archer helm, rune cbow + anti-dragon shield, and you could either go with diamond (e) bolts, which would be very fast and effective, but expensive. Or you could use broad bolts which are about equal to mith bolts (I think) but far cheaper. Edit: I'm assuming you're going to be killing them in tavelry dungeon (I don't know if theres any other place to kill them...), so you can easily safespot them there. Just lure them over so you're standing in the hallway, and they won't be able to get through. :)

Summoning Advice
Guthan's is garbage for waterfiends; z spear/ss is far far superior. But yes I'd do waterfiends. They'd be the best charms at your level save rock lobsters. Z Spear/SS is better than Guthans, but only if you are assisted by a bunyip or unicorn. Otherwise, you'll need too many trips, which outweighs the benefits of ZS/SS. Soo... how would I go about doing that? Full guthans on crush option for spear, and pray mage? I know you need range/mage def and range def for guthans is pretty good I'm assuming, althought as I recall the range attack is stronger than the mage?

Alright, sounds good. I think I'll get slayer to 65, and then camp at dusties for a while. Thanks! :D

Summoning Advice
Alright thanks, any suggestions then on monsters that drop lots of crimsons? I was thinking of just using slayer to get some charms, but if all I need is crimsons, then there may be other options. And I haven't done and don't plan on doing DT so rock lobsters or whatever they're called isn't going to happen.

Summoning Advice
I'm currently 54 summoning, and I'm looking to get it up to 68. I was wondering what the best way to go about doing this was. I'm assuming I'll just use all my gold charms on terrorbirds, since theres only a couple other familiars that use gold charms from 52 to 68. But what should I use my green/blue/crimson charms on? Also, I have a budget of around 2m... Hopefully that will be enough to get 68 summoning. Thanks!

Holiday Musings and a permanent solution to rares
nachalo What happens if a player has multiple rares? (I've seen banks with 100+ santas, etc.) If they were given cash for all the rares, it would easily be over the 2b mark.

Best place to level str [membs]
Some people don't like slayer. Some people are noobs. I dont like Slayer... and I think there are more "noobish" people other than myself. I'm not saying you are, but in general high combat with low slayer = noob. Anyone can AFK combat or gain massive amount of XP (old PC for example). Slayer shows you have dedication to a skill and also net you extra XP. Trust me I am so glad my levels have been gained through slayer. When I do max melee I will be 96-97 slayer, leaving only 2-3 levels to get whilst "wasting" XP. If you have max combat before slayer then you are having to do all that fighting all over again. Plus the charms I have gotten so far have got me 86 summoning in a year. I've been doing slayer for over 3, so if I had have had charm drops from the start, I'd be damn close to 99 summoning as well. high combat with low slayer = smart? If you want the fastest xp, (which I don't see why you wouldn't) slayer is useless. Why waste time going to get new tasks, finding where the monster is, getting different armor depending on what monster it is, getting different slayer items to kill them, and sometimes having to burthrope your task and kill some random low level creature. In all the time you spent doing that you could've gotten loads more xp, while hardly doing any work (if you're at an AFK training spot, but even if you're not, its still not that much work compared to slayer) Sure, I get your point, but really, slayer is pretty much useless. I have 65 slayer or so on my main, and it took quite a while, and I really have never "used" my slayer level. The drops that I got from getting slayer levels were less than mediocre as well. And if you want charms, well then I'm sure you can find a monster to train on that drops charms. I'm just saying, if you want fast xp, don't bother with slayer. If I could do it over again, the only reason I would level slayer is for total levels, and hell, I'd just level it to around 30 or so because after that the levels get incredibly slow.

Crushing and stabbing weps never used.
I agree, slash weapons are generally better, however I think in some cases stab/crush weapons are very good, mainly in pvp. Obby maulers absolutely destroy in pvp, hitting 26 or so at 33 cb. Also, granite maulers are very good seeing as they can more or less get 3 hits all at the same time, and theres a decent chance that most of those hits are going to be 20+. Then of course theres the dragon dagger, one of the best ko spec weapons in the game. I wouldn't say that crushing and stabbing weapons are NEVER used, but slash weapons are definitely used more, and especially at higher levels they are generally superior.

any one live near a famous person?
I used to live a few houses down from Drew Bledsoe, back when he was with the Patriots, and I was neighbors with Sam Gash I think (dno if thats his name, he was some football or hockey player, I was like 3 at the time so can't really remember.) Now, I've moved from there and live a couple minutes away from Joe Perry, the guitarist from Aerosmith. I also go to school/am friends with his son, whos a really cool kid. And, the best part, my band got to record in his recording studio =P~

Wow, cool username! game
I think my obby maulers name is pretty good, "epicfailboat"

My pvp vids, by the #1 ags rusher.(VID 2 out!)
It wouldn't be that bad if you didn't use melee protect all the time. I mean cmon, I don't think one of the people you killed even got a chance to hit you, why use melee protect? Just to rub it in their faces more? :shame:

Zombie Plans-Revised
Zombies. You'd blow yourself up, in all likelihood, and if not, you'd run out of ammunition, they'd surround you and you'd be trapped. -.- Well at least I'd go out in style. :D

Zombie Plans-Revised
I'd grab the extra large chef's knife from my kitchen (this thing is a beast), battle my way out the door, and hop in one of my parents' cars. I'd then drive to the nearest [bleep]s Sporting Goods, and pick myself up a couple of guns, some knives, the works. From there, I'd drive to the Air Force base around 30 mins from my house, obviously running over any zombies in my way. Once I arrived at the Air Force base, I'd somehow find a way to get into an F-16, turn it on, and taxi it over to the entrance. Then I'd wait. Zombie vs. guided missiles, 50mm cannons, and rockets? I think we know the outcome of that one

Cooking Advice
I'm thinking about going for 99 cooking and am wondering about how I should approach it. I'm 64 cooking atm, so I'm assuming I should just cook lobsters for now. Should I cook monkfish at some point? Also, when should I switch to sharks? and when will I stop burning monkfish and sharks? -Thanks

First RS Review in a while: A Member's Betrayal
How can you say that? Seriously, you're saying that theres more diversity in weapons in RS than in WoW?! Lets take a look at this. Theres around 10 different main weapon types in RS, with around 8 different materials (bronze-dragon). So around 80 different main weapons. Add in godswords, barrows weapons, bows etc., you're looking at 130-140 or so different weapons at the most. Lets look at WoW. Sure, from about levels 1 to 10 theres really not that many weapons. But once you start getting into 15+ levels, you're looking at a lot of weapons. Theres around 14 different weapon types (swords, 2h swords, 2h maces, bows, guns, etc.) For every level 10-80, I'd say theres a selection of at least 15 or so weapons for each type of weapon (with all the different "of the bear" or "of the whale" weapons. Also, theres definitely A LOT more at higher levels when you figure in all the instances and pvp gear). But, just to keep things simple lets stick with an average 15 for each level bracket. so, 15 weapons*14 weapon types*70 levels = 14,700 weapons Keep in mind this is a rough estimate. Tbh, that seems a little high, I'd say theres more around 10,000-12,000. Anyways though, you get the point. And not only are they diverse in that theres so many different weapons, but you can also get enchants for them, and with all the different attributes they can really differ in stats and also in looks. Not to mention, that lots of them are quest rewards, PVP rewards, or from instances/raids, not just the usual monster-hunting or smithing in RS. Also, I don't really know how you can talk about special attacks making rs more diverse than wow, when rs doesn't even have abilities. On a warrior, even at lvl 20 or so you've got at least 15 different abilities, some for damage, some for tanking, some for slowing enemies, etc. You really cant compare that with the couple special attacks in RS. Don't really mean to put a damper on things but you really can't say that rs weapons are more diverse than weapons in WoW. But other than that, I pretty much agree with everything else, especially about questing being like another job. It does get a bit boring, doing the same thing over and over again. "get me 10 boar livers... kill 16 raptors... go talk to this guy... go bring this item to this guy..." -.-

Funny Turkey Glitch
I think he was doing this by lighting a fire, and then doing the turkey emote while he was bending down to light it. Pretty funny though :D This is on low detail though, I wonder if it would still happen on high detail?

NASCAR
Tbh, F1 cars revving at 19,000 rpms > 43 Nascars revving at... 9000 rpms : I much prefer the whine of a high revving F1 car, than the low drone of a Nascar. And ya, I don't really know too much about Nascar, but the technology in F1 is just astounding. Hell, the steering wheel alone is covered in buttons and knobs, that let drivers change things while theyre driving. Some drivers are changing the amount of suspension on the seperate wheels for each turn, and changing the mixture of the fuel and everything. Not to mention the aerodynamics, if you compare cars from the past couple years, its pretty amazing the way they've changed all the wings and everything, even the mirrors to increase aerodynamics. And also, no offense or anything, but imo F1 driving takes much more skill than Nascar imo. Ya, they've got stamina, but then again, theyre not getting anywhere near the G forces that the F1 drivers are. In that video that I put here earlier, in that corner they're going from around 150 to 40 or so, in maybe... 2 seconds? Thats some crazy G forces, not to mention when they accelerate theyre going from 0-60 in about 2 seconds (I think fastest is 1.9 seconds?) :D Edit: Ya, you pretty much need earplugs going to an F1 event. You'll seriously regret not bringing them, not to mention possible hearing damage
