I think that the alphabet song was based on TTLS. The world is full of coincidences. My friend and I once bought the same shoes without realising. Also, another friend once bought the same tye-dye t-shirt as another friend.
  2. Its the phenomenon of what we call NIMBYism. Stands for Not-In-My-Back-Yard. I think that sums it up. Eventually technology will become advanced enough that we can safely fling it out to space, but preferably into some other star than our sun. Flinging it there may have dire consequences. For now, bury it. Later, fling it.
  3. Great job. Remember, always do this because this often reveals information about sequel quests, and some history. Keep it up! By the way, see of you can make that into an alphabet, something gives me the feeling that that code could be used for a sequel, and decoding more hidden messages.
  4. Yes, apart from cookies : You can choke on cookies. \ Qeltar, you are ignoring so many facts and seem to be self obsessed on making Jagex feel bad and as a result, you feeling good. Isn't that bullying, which you so badly seem to emphasise is so bad? You are denying children the experience that we call life. Stealing happens. Cheating happens. It all happens. Runescape is designed to be realistic (In the sense that there is good and evil in the world, not just good), yet makes it's own world in which players escape to. That's why we love Runescape. Or at least, most of us do. Chance is also a major factor in life. It is only bad when you go to places like casinos. Funnily enough, there are no casinos in Runescape. Buisnessess are also a major factor in life. You need to earn a living, and manage money. You spend money in order to gain resources to obtain more money. Also, you raise skills though hard work (also realistic) which act a catalysts for more money generating. It's the basic infrastructure on how the economy works. *Switches off flamethrower* Get a reality check.
  5. Easter event? egg + 9th april = the monday after Easter, so maybe the day they'll update it :? The rest seems to be refering to a quest (a big ramp) and hunter (the net thing) Its an anagram. Not like a normal chaos elemental letter.
  6. A googol is 1 followed by 100 digits: 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000if you like. They wanted to name the company googol to represent how vast the internet was, but due to a typing error when creating the buisness, google came up and the name stuck. Also, google make it's money from ads.
  7. Come on; since when was a system of measurement really culture? I mean granted that we need to keep pints but we still do in some things ie milk and more importantly - beer. I dont see how changing miles to kilometers is a bad thing. And no way while the sterling is such a strong currency will it change to the euro, not as long as we keep Gordon Brown anyway. And the jobs that immigrants take are the ones that we dont want in most cases such as fast food places and stuff like that. And polish builders take jobs off english ones because of the simple fact that they do a better job for less money. In all honesty half of the english builders that have worked for me (my mum actually lol) or people i know are lazy sods and they take the piss a bit really. And you will really hate me for saying this but in response to the fact that tea consumption has gone down - I prefer coffee lol  . Ok, I take back the kilometers/miles thing, that was a tad over the top. Yes, immigration does provide with good cheap labour, but the problem is that immigration is increasing, and will increase as long as we stay in the EU and the EU invites more and more countries that are quite desperate for employment. This will result in more and more potentially local jobs going instead for a foreigner, simply because they are cheap labour. Sure at first they go for the jobs local people don't really want to do, but as immigration increases, the more popular jobs will start going too. Before we know it, our local community will start to emigrate due to the lack of jobs. In fact, it's already happening. Also, you prefer coffee instead of tea? I am going to hunt you down. jk O:)
  8. Everything and anything is made of energy. Or to make it more complex: Quarks or Leptons are made of Energy. Subatomic particles are made of quarks or leptons. Atoms are made of Subatomic Particles. Everything and anything is made of atoms. So therefore Everything and anything is made of Energy. Ahnihilation is proof that you can convert anything into energy. Take this, a Hydrogen atom. Now take an anti-Hydrogen atom (antimatter). Now, when they collide, ahnihilation occurs, which means that both atoms are instantly converted into energy at the rate of our magic equation: E=mc^2. The proof comes is that nothing apart from energy is produced. No stray electrons. No antiprotons floating about, they are completely converted into energy. So, mass can be destroyed, but energy cannot. By the way, splatmster24, are you proposing we stick tubes up every cow in the world? :-k Something tells me this may not work...
  9. I dont see that as a bad thing as long as we keep our culture. We already have the single market which is pretty helpful and a single government thing would be kind of a good idea. I remember doing it in business but i cant remember what its called :wall: Im personally all for Europe as long as we keep our culture and the Sterling its all good. It may be a bit biased towards the frogs with farming subsidies at what not but overall I see the EU as good for britain. Of course were not ready yet for a single government but in a few decades or something it would make Europe another superpower (even though by the time it happenes China and India will probably more powerful that all of Europe and the US. Unfortunately the way things are going, the EU is draining our culture. That is why we need to leave it. Britain deserves independance and needs to be left alone. Our pint is threatened to turn into ml. Our miles are being turned to kilometres. Our Sterling is being turned to Euros. Our people are now becoming seriously diluted by immigrants who are denying the local community of jobs. Heck, I think the average tea consumption has dropped! This is nothing to do with money now. It's about preserving something that money can't buy. British culture.
  10. I will if I see it. Looks so cool, but nobody seems to have it. Shows it's rarity I suppose. Goes really nicely with skillcapes too :
  11. Yeah, but the more JaGEx ads they make, the more diluted the annoying ones (Zwinky ) become. So there is less chance of them coming up. Keep it up JaGEx!
  12. I think that it is not a shortcut, but a convenience cut, mostly because you do not have to go through Shantay pass, saving precious inventory space, and thus a higher chance of victory for more kills.... Also, there are many stories surrounding the Kalphite Queen that they are raising an army to attack Runescape, so maybe this may have something to do with a quest storyline.
  13. In soviet Russia, Holy Grail seeks out YOU! Nose
  14. Teh Hotness. Wii console.
  15. I don't know wether this is common knowledge or not, but nobody seems to mention it, so here it is: If you pick crops from fields, you sometimes randomly get seeds. (The OOC will know lots about this) *Wields cabbage seed*
  16. Hmm, I personally prefer the d long but that may be because I haven't ad enough time to experiment with my d scim.
  17. I don't get this. If poison cures when you leave the house, then in what way are you not safe?
  18. There are nowadays tons of places you can reach within seconds. You should make another map like that stating: The location of the modern/ancient/lunar teleports The location of the item teleports The start and finish of transport The directions of transport Wilderness teleports Its gonna look messy, but it will give us a clear view on how easy it truly is to travel in runescape. I do a mixture of travelling and teleporting. I can easily get the laws, it's just that sometimes I teleport and then realise that I could have made that distance via another method. Also, I have a system where say, the fairy ring system is near the gnome glider system (Feldip hills), and various locations like that. Remember them, it really helps.
  19. Other ones aren't... Owned in three words :) It is a great theory, but of course the ranks must follow a slightly different system, because proselyte trim is orange, not green. So we have already deviated, but yes, the next temple knight quest will allow us to become acolytes, and the next partisans. But a word to you all, many pieces of dialogues warn you not to trust the temple knights completely, there is something hidden up their many sleeves, so don't expect this whole thing to run smoothly.
  20. Murder Mystery is a biggie here. *Sharp intake of breath* Criminal's Dagger Murder Scene Pot Fly Paper traps Criminal's Thread Anna's Necklace * Bob's Teacup * Carol's Bottle * David's Book * Elizabeth's Needle * Frank's Pot * Anna's Fingerprints Bob's Fingerprints Carol's Fingerprints David's Fingerprints Elizabeths's Fingerprints Frank's Fingerprints Murderer's Fingerprints * Floured and Unfloured (Covered in flour) *Releases Breath* *Faints*
  21. The 99 cap is not going to be raised.. ever.. I bet my Irish heritage on it... *parents walk in saying: sorry we got somthing to tel you, you are adopted, thats right.* *I'm afraid your real parents were... you aren't going to like this... Irish. I'm so sorry...* I don't think that we can currently predict the lifespan of Jagex at the moment, it's all down to what decisions they make. If they make the right ones, it's almost indefinate in theory. If they make the wrong ones, probably only about 5 years. Let's all hope for the best.
  22. Its all going to be armour, but what will it look like? I suppose the same design as the shield and helm, sort of like armour trim without the armour? By the way, the elemental workshop has NOTHING to do with rc whatsoever. Magic, not rc. Hang on... Logic + Magic? Tower of life? Is this related?
  23. Funnily enough no, you are better bringing a holy symbol. Could this have something to do with the quest storyline? If vampyres are not undead... what are they? :-k So, the only way to poison a vampyre is use poisoned silver bolts... is this worth it?
  24. I thought that the luberjack clothing is really a one off extra reward. Why are people doing this with the view that the lumberjack clothing is the primary reward? Surely during your time trying to get these clothes you have gotton a hell of a lot of good stuff?
  25. It is just that people cannot think outside the box. Melee is cheapest, so people by dds. The more intelligent people train magic, freeze/bind the meleer and own him. The even more intellingent people then take with them melee AND range so they can own meleers and rangers with dds and own mages with range. Personally, I don't care that melee is the most popular. Use this factor to your advantage and destroy your enemies. I trained melee first because it was a one time buy for me. Then I trained mage not only bacause it helped me with magic defence for melee training, it gives me a feeling of superiority over melee pures because I know I can destroy them. Then I trained range because I realised people will follow the same path, so I could feel even more superior. That's how it works.
