It's like that where you live as well. The difference is that around you there is light pollution which makes it so that the small amount of light coming from the meteorites can't be seen.

Most schools count the SAT out of 1600 as people have said because the Writing section hasn't been tested enough to be proven legit. I got a 1220 then a 1260 on my SATs(550 reading both, 670/710 Math respectively) I wanted the 700 on my Math since the first time I took the test I had about 5 math answers in the end of a reading section :-w 1537 isn't a real score

Monty Python and the Holy Grail So I finished watching this today and it was great. I don't know what else to say :)

Why do people breakdance or pop? Why do people collect things? To pass the time before death enjoying themselves of course =)

Cameras do no justice to glowsticking/stringing If you don't see it IRL you're missing out I'm a noob glowsticker(freehand) I can figure8 and semitrace and kindasphere >_> but I hold the glowsticks differently than it's usually instructed To hold it like I do: Make the devil horns with your index and pinky fingers put a glowstick in between your up fingers and your middle/ring fingers grip I don't know how it turns out though, I'll ask one of my friends tomorrow or friday

I want the republicans to win so taxes stay low.. everything else doesn't matter so much

If it's free do it, it doesn't even take a whole saturday, you're out by 1pm(unless where you're taking it sucks and you start after 8:30am) I didn't prepare for it(mostly because I hate preparing for tests....) I got 710 math 550 reading and 510 or something in writing(I didn't give two [cabbage]s about that section, it doesn't count) my second time around First time I had a few answers in the wrong section of my answer sheet, but I got a 670 math and a 550 reading If you're a good test taker then you'll be fine, but I have a few friends who arn't, and it can really mess with where you want to go to college
-
I'm only halfway through it.. I have relatives in town so I'm watching it in bursts >_> <_< But since we had nothing better to do today, we saw The Departed and, even though I'm not feeling in the best mood(FYI-tequila, crown&coke and carrot cake DON'T mix.. unless of course you are looking for a reason to vomit) anyways.. it was amazing. The ending was perfect(my aunt didn't like the part where dicaprio died) if you havn't seen it, go watch it. now.

That logic is false and always has been. It runs purely on taking everything that is given to you and doing nothing in return. You're running on the assumption that if you got punched in the face you wouldn't do anything about it. If someone decided to strip you naked and leave you there you would do nothing about it. Don't be [developmentally delayed]ed; this is the real world not some hippyfest. Maybe I would? You can justify anything you want justify. Everything can be justified to a certain person at a certain time. Did you every watch A Time to Kill? It clearly writes about this. You should also look into Kant's theories about justification and maxims, I'm sure you'd agree with them from that statement. You don't know me. I don't give a damn about most other people. People treat me like [cabbage]; I treat others like [cabbage]. I'm not going to be the one to break the cycle, this is reality and it will continue endlessly; nothing good will come from fighting this current, unlike what you might believe, you don't make a difference. Telling me to shut up. Isn't that breaking your golden rule [cabbage]? How would you like it if one person, everyday for the rest of your life told you to shut up? So you tell me that stealing gum and sharpies is wrong and is completely against your moral beliefs, yet you say killing a dog doesn't matter? Your scaling is completely messed and you contradicted yourself many times. Your opinions are hypocritical

Usually I would say stealing is bad.. But he was stealing from Wal-Mart and I've done my research into that company. They're not as nice and harmless as they seem. When they set up a store in a city they always brag about having the lowest prices (and they usually do). So then smaller companies can't compete with Wal-Mart's prices and thus they lose more and more business to Wal-Mart resulting in them having to close their doors. So, I could really care less if you steal from a company that is trying to monopolize the US economy. True, it's a cruel world Corporate America. I read about this once, but it was a while ago, this is a form of Supply and Demand right? I'm not sure if you could call this supply and demand. This is more of Wal-Mart attempting to run smaller companies out of business in order to gain more profits for itself. (Btw, I did a project on the harmful effects of Wal-Mart on the US for my English project in my freshman year) It's called (price) undercutting. Where you cut you prices so low that you barely(or you might even not) make a profit to run your opponents out of buissness. Then you raise your prices beyond belief once they're gone. I use to steal from my work all the time knowing that I wouldn't get caught. I've probably stolen a good couple hundred from that place, and my friends do the same. But there is a logic behind it A. We all use to work there, and they acted like complete [wagon] to us B. There's no cameras or metal detectors C. It's not like they're going to miss a couple packs of gum/spray paint bottles/sharpies etc

So I sawFlushed Away since Borat was sold out like 8 shows in advanced :x and it was alright. It didn't have the subtle humor that Over the Hedge had, or the storyline of Toy Story or Shrek. It did have a few laughts and the slugs, which were an important part of the laughs. It just get's an ok.

8 ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâý This movie is different. It was harder to keep the characters straight at the begining becaue I was more focused on reading the subtitles(Italians speak so fast O.O). But it is definately a different movie and not what I expected. I don't know how to talk about it because the way the movie was built around the main character is just so different. It's a movie about random events that seem to fit together for a bigger picture that you get at the end. 9/10 The Prestige It's not a bad watch, but the whole thing comes together far too fast, and I didn't like the very last shot before the credits. The last shot was suppose to have the movie climax, or shock you, but it didn't in any way. It just showed you what you could have already figured out, assuming you were following the story. 6/10

Let's see.. my dad smokes, yells and drinks(sometimes a little too much, which puts me in the situation where it's all 3 at once.. always focused on me) my mom is self-centered and crazy my bro is always craving for attention since my parents got a divorce. And I'm suppose to be some masterful person who is able to juggle everything, get straight A's, and be both of their ideal child(since my bro can't after all the [cabbage] they put him through)

It's more like respect than disrespect. You want your name near and associated with the topic creators name. And if the person is respected than you hope in turn to also be respected.
-
Ah! Finally. One of my favorite movies. ^.^ Did you get the criterion release? Not as far as I know. I'm pretty sure it's just the normal version. What's the difference between the versions?
-
Yeah, I read that. And according to Joystiq: X360 - 48 Exclusives (48% First Party) PS3 - 35 Exclusives (51% First Party) Wii - 40 Exclusives (35% First Party) I thought Wii is the one supposedly to depend on first parties? :) Oh, and I edited in everyone who voted so far. I think he updated the article or something because now it's X360-58 exclusives (40% First party) PS3-35 exclusives (51% first party) Wii-46 exclusives (39% first party) and it's pretty amazing that the wii is so close to the 360 in first party's even though xbox had a year headstart

Crimes and misdemeanors was alright, I'm not the biggest Woody Allen fan Do the Right Thing this movie was crazy. It shows how people really are, I enjoyed it a lot. The Grudge 2 This movie isn't as bad as IMDB people say it is. But to be fair I never saw the first one =\ There have been others but i can't remember them right now >< but I just got a copy of 8 1/2! I found one awhile ago and it was 40$(collector's edition or something) and I only had 30$ at the time. This time is was 20$ going to watch it later this week.
-
Option F 1. Wii 2. Playstation 3 3. Xbox 360 Shadow, you either didn't know about or have forgotten earlier this year(Jan-Mar is last when I heard this) that the ps2 was outselling the Xbox360.(havn't heard any recent statistics) It doesn't look for microsoft

I prefer female's since they're rarer and more of a specialty(but at the same time I don't want a lot of them since then the not so great females will ruin the purity of the select few who actually do make it into decent bands) *points out the old NightWish to that female vocal list*
