The movie is already two hours long, and did you miss the entire flashback? It explains almost all of the questions that you have.. the "special" aspects in his bloodstream was obvious where they came from..

from your "cliffs note" version, it says nothing about them wanting to spread it, just get it so they don't end up getting it on accident. It's their life, as long as they arn't purposely trying to give it to other people, it doesn't bother me

ive also read that 5 to 6 is all you really need, and it doesnt help anything sleeping more. that 8 hour sleep a day thing is just something someone started saying, and everyone picked up. I've heard(from a teacher) that the sleep you need decreases with age(old old people only need like 5 hours, where teens need like 6-10 or so) and noone wants kh2 :(

I was talking to my friend across the aisle once because the bus was empty since everyone usually leaves on the normal busses. And this guy sat behind me and started nodding his head like he was listening to music, except he wasn't. So we started talking and he asked my name, and I told him it was Patrick. Then he was like, "I'll call you P Dot, like P. Diddy you know? Except P Dot." My friend just started laughing

The reason being what? I REALLY want to hear this. second that. you'd only have to be 18 if it was your creditcard. you only live once, nobody wants to wait till there older. The system is there to stop people from ****ing up their lives.
