  1. As long as the ads don't lag my Xbox up I could care less about them. It would be nice if they could reduce the cost of Live for us, but I doubt that will happen.
  2. It's just a personal favorite of mine. I don't care how hard it is to train. I want it. :D I'll probably include the Togepi that you get after the first gym. A togekiss would be useful.
  3. Remember that ingame teams need a flying type. You'll use it too much to not have one. For me, I'll be looking for a Mareep. Electric types are very useful. I don't know what else. I'll grab it when I see it in the wild and work from there.
  4. It's not June anymore. ;) But still, you're right that a lot of celebrities are passing away all at once.
  5. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=151&t=778842 There is a sticky for this.
  6. Just saw The Spirit. It was pretty strange, I'm thinking about reading the comic now.
  7. I really hope that they stay true to G/S/C and allow us to go back to Kanto and go through those gyms, with all of their pokemon really high leveled. Maybe they could include the Orange Islands as well, just for all of us who remember them from the anime.
  8. You probably can't, but who knows. Oh and Chikorita is going to be my first pokemon. It is always a challenge to start with, since the first gym leader uses flying types.
  9. Bungie is seriously milking the Halo series since it came out in 2000. There have been more Halo games than any of Nintendo's first party characters games (In that 2 mario, or 2 zelda, etc). Bungie is up to 6 games since the company started. Valve is milking Left 4 Dead. EA milks all of their sports titles and the Sims. Nintendo is not the only company that milks their franchises. ;)
  10. I have all three of the johto starters, so I can get you guys eggs and trade with you.
  11. Don't just be anti-Nintendo, give reasons for why. Though I agree that Nintendo reuses their core games way too much, they do add new features that make the games unique, so they don't become stale (though that can be argued). Also, why is Wario on the list? The Warioware games are pretty neat, and arn't that old. I can see Pokemon, since there so many games and more on the way, but Warioware has always been a fresh experience, especially with motion and touch screen controls.
  12. Done. This thread needs more activity.
  13. I can name quite a few non-first party games that are worth your money on the console. Zach and Wiki- Excellent and challenging puzzle game. Resident Evil 4- A port, but very well done, with very good controls. Okami- Beautiful and unique adventure game, came from the PS2, but makes the Wii transition very well. De Blob- Unique and quirky platformer. Games I havn't played but have high reviews: No More Heroes- Mixed reviews, but still regaurded as one of the consoles best games. Little King's Story- RPG-RTS hybrid. Boom Blox (1&2) - Puzzle game from Steven Speilberg. There are even more, but I don't want to go on. Also, the library of good games can only get larger, so upcoming games like Dead Space Extraction, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and Red Steel 2 could all end up being some of the best games of the console. You could probably point out flaws and problems with each of the games up there, but you can't deny that there are 3rd party games that are worth the price you payed for them. You have to be able to look through the shovelware to find some of the gems.
  14. Age 50 is becomming the age to die at. I always like his commercials. I wonder if they will run some of his older ads on T.V. as a tribute to him.
  15. I'm going back to the Bioshock/Dead Space discussion. I have now played both of the games and in my opinion Dead Space was much more scary than Bioshock was. In fact, I was never really scared in Bioshock, it was fun to play, just never scary.

He's from Australia. I don't know where specifically though.
  17. I just bought the Game of the Year edition from Amazon today. I'm looking forward to it. It should be shipped by the 2nd.
  18. No it's not what sports are there in the summer? I hope you are joking. Mini_me has already stated a few. #-o Mini_me made the list after he posted that comment. How did you miss that?
  19. If this is inapropriate feel free to delete, but I felt it wasn't really offensive towards Jewish people Why did you specifically say the Wii people would appreciate this?
  20. I actually just finished LOTR: The Third Age a few months ago. I kept dying at the final boss, but I was able to defeat him on a stroke of luck. It was a pretty enjoyable game and the evil mode was pretty cool.
  21. It could have been a shared account with a huge amount of people. Or one single guy. :?
  22. Journey - Ask the Lonely
  23. I just watched West World. It was a pretty strange movie, but I enjoyed it.
