What has OT Taught you
THAT'S A LOAD OF HORSE [cabbage] AND HERE'S WHY. I think me means on tip.it as well. Its easier to argue with people that don't know you and will probably never meet you.

School
I'm already from the general area. It's just a bit more snow. It's a pretty expensive school though and I'm not positive I can get in. Are you from Vermont? Something like the top student in every class (in Vermont) gets three out of four years free. That does not seem too easy

Literature
Finished The Power of One a few days ago, it was better then I thought it would be. Now I'm finishing up The Picture of Dorian Gray for extra credit. It is pretty good, I usually like 19th century writing.

Is Anyone Playing Dungeoneering for Fun?
Most definately. Which is why i rarely train skills like mining or runecrafting. And instead pick skills that i can typically pay little attention to while i talk to friends, watch TV or browse forums. (I did go for 85 mining once, but then i decided my sanity was worth more...) See, the thing about blade is that he said he hates the skill. Which could mean he hates it because of doing it so much, which makes sense ( as you said, everything gets boring). But if he hated it for the most part of him training it... Idk, I just would not do that. Its a game after all, there are always other things you can do in rs or other games you can play to have fun. People can play the game how they want, I just would not grind a skill if I disliked it that much. But, Runescape does give you the flexibility to play how you want and do what you want.

Is Anyone Playing Dungeoneering for Fun?
Ever heard the term "hunger is the best spice"? As much as we would like to be always having fun, thats simply not always the case, and even seemingly fun things like PVP, castle wars, etc, get boring when you do it too much, despite being great fun when you first start. Its often the anticipation of fun which makes the actual fun much more fun, if you catch my drift. :shades: Not to mention that those hours of "forcing" yourself to do something (and its really not that bad half the time, you can often entertain yourself by talking or through other methods), make the rest of your game time, as he said, much more fun. Its like grinding magic through high alchemy. I could rush straight into castle wars and start fire blasting people, which is quite fun, or i could do a little magic training, and instead ice barrage people (very fun :)) I understand what you mean. But wouldn't you rather do something that allows you to enjoy the journey and the reward?

Is Anyone Playing Dungeoneering for Fun?
and yet you have level 80. So either you don't hate it that much, hate it more now then before, or grinded it for the sake of rewards while not having fun. and in return got a chaotic weapon thats fun to use for the rest of his time on rs  Yes, but thats still: Multiple hours of forcing yourself to play a game vs. Multiple hours of enjoying a game I'd pick the 2nd one. Why have fun to enjoy the game later, when in a proper game you should be able to enjoy the game now and later.

Note, merchents are hoarding right now, so get them out at max in about a week, and deffenetly don't wait til the last week because they will be unsellable at min, if it holds true from last time. Wait wait wait... so that means if I wait till Thursday before the double xp weekend I will be able to buy supplies for skills easily?

Suicide
Dan, are you saying that ALL the people who commit suicide must have chemical imbalances in the brain? If you do, do you think that a person's experiences could cause the imbalance in the first place?

Bonus Xp Weekend - September
Well I'm actually happy they are having one. Since school is starting up I will barley even log on anymore. I will use this double xp weekend as the last time I will play for 3-4 months and I'll do whatever I feel like doing at the moment.

Bonus Xp Weekend - September
Well, this is the first time I've actually seen so much opposition to the double xp weekend, even on the rs forums. It seemed like mostly everyone was begging for the next one to come, now its like everyone wants it not to occur.

FAIL. You know somethings wrong when you stop playing video games for fun.

If the weekend were to be announced that late then the market would be even worse.

Suicide
If Love=attraction, then don't we need attraction/love in order to reproduce?
-
Suicide
Even if someone felt bad about hurting their loved ones while thinking about committing suicide, it would only be logical to conclude that it doesn't matter what happens to their loved ones after they die. Because if you never experience something happening it is the same as if it never did happen, even if in reality it has. The second you die can be perceived as the end of existence as a whole. It sounds selfish but its really not. If you were stuck in darkness with no senses of anything, and no emotion or thought for eternity, wouldn't that seem to be the end of existence?
-
Suicide
This is why it is selfish. Selfish people don't care about others, just themselves. You are still not thinking. You can care about people all you want, but what causes us to do so? Emotions. But if you are not alive and neither is your brain then you have no emotions. Therefore you can not "care" for people in death.
-
Suicide
Other then to get attracted to someone so we can reproduce right?

Suicide
And why can't atheism be a lie? That's the problem with tif (I'm in no way singling you at Bentomat, I'm talking about all of tif) they are too one sided. They won't even consider the other side, well at least not before they mock it to death. (This goes with absolutely every argument. God, music, movies, culture, literature, people, everything.) How do you know he hasn't considered the other side, he probably has considered it, and then discarded it.
-
Suicide
There are still some things we can't resist. Love for example. Because we won't go to prison for falling in love, but we will for fighting and rape. There is no reason for us to get better at resisting love.
-
Suicide
But thats exactly my point, after you die you wouldn't feel it anymore. So its illogical that someone who does not believe in an afterlife would not commit suicide only because they are afraid to hurt others. And yes, it is an opinion, but a logical one.

Suicide
Why is it a bad idea? Whats so bad about the human race not existing?
