I am incredibly not self-sufficient. I buy everything I need, and I only worry about the speed of training on the rare occasions I do train a skill. I NEVER collect raw materials. There are many skills I haven't trained for years. I plan to get a few buyable skills to 99 sometime in the future though (the fastest way possible, of course.)

Yes, 90 defence makes a huge difference over 80.

FIrstly, since you only have a bandos and zamorak item you should head north west so that the armadyl and saradomin monsters don't attack you. The thing draining your stats would be the icy effect from outside of the dungeon. If you use the agility shortcut instead of the boulder, and run through as quick as you can you can make it into GWD only having a -2 stat drain. (I also pot/brew at the bank before I go)

Not going to quote it... However, they ARE stronger. Attack allows you to use weapons to help you fight... strength allows you to hit higher... prayer gives your stats a boost... summoning lets you use familiars to damage opponents. I don't think I've really come close to losing a 1v1 fight to anyone when I have used steel titan and my opponent didn't have a familiar. My experience per hour on slayer tasks has also gone WAY up using it.

I can get used to it, however my problem is the fact that for those of us who use a large resolution, pictures are simply... cut off. I'd much rather have to scroll over than not be able to see the right half of most large images.

It doesn't increase you're respect, maturity, game intelligence, niceness, honesty, or any other genuine traits that you see from legitimate high levels that have determination and can actually comprehend these people/social skills Stupidest thing I've ever read. Perhaps my view is skewed seeing as I am 99 summoning... however I don't really see how summoning is somehow different than other combat skills. The few combat levels gained at the lower levels in summoning hardly make you an illegitimate player, and those with high summoning have spent a lot of time and money on the skill... and it's definitely the most difficult combat skill. Don't even try to tell me that it doesn't affect combat ability. Other than not being able to be used in BH, it is useful pretty much everywhere. I can pretty much one hit people my own level using the steel titan... and when training it can get around 10k range experience/hour on its own. What do any of those traits really have to do with combat level anyway? And seriously, being stronger than your combat level suggests for dangerous pvp minigames is not the point of this game.

Ice bursting at giant rock crabs in the less known chaos temple room was getting me multiple hundred charms an hour. However, it was expensive as hell, and that room is getting more crowded now.

Same. Pretty damn pointless for maxed out combat players like us.

Well, I was like 4 hours behind starting on summoning cause of school, and I had a soccer game in the middle, but I got to level 30 finally. The skill is ridiculously hard, and I don't see why the only way to get experience is pouches. But I am going to stick with it... To 99. I hope :uhh:

After 10 mithril dragons I have: 12 green 8 crimson 4 blue 4 gold They drop em almost every time (70% so far) And 4 at a time. Recommended if you can kill them quickly.

D Although I might multi task and attempt to get through that quest or whatever while reading it.

I just took my computer in to a computer place and they figured out what kind of RAM I needed and put it in for me.

That's the thing though, I'd rather do it all at once, which is something I've never been able to do before. :-# But of course if it comes to that I will. Not gonna let myself get so bored that I want to quit before I even reach 138 combat lol. Thanks, making a blog might be a good idea. I didn't become wealthy in this game until quite some time after construction :P I have 135m to spend on summoning currently, if that's what I have to do.

Well, every time a skill comes out, I say that I am going to get it to 99. (or high) But I never have gotten a new skill very high. Why will this be different? Yes, I need it for 138 combat... but still I plan on getting 99 summoning. I have the funds. I kind of have excuses for the other skills... Construction... I was raising it, and I was in top 500 for a bit. But I simply couldn't afford it. Hunter... Just never interested me I guess. Ended up training it a bit higher later when it was less crowded. Farming... is now my lowest skill. And if anyone looked at my stats they'd notice that I simply cannot stand training a lot of skills, I just can't do it. Especially when it requires a lot of paying attention. (My only real exception to this is 99 prayer, which I managed to get because it was so fast, and I needed it for 126 combat.) So... I don't even know what I'm trying to get at here. I guess I'm just really hoping that summoning is similar to combat in the way it's trained, or I don't know if I will be able to train it straight to 99, which I really, really want to do. Can anyone give me some tips or encouragement or something for how to train a skill if it ends up not being something I enjoy doing? I've also never set a goal of a 99 skill and gone straight to 99 getting it. Yeah, I am more confused now... \ :XD:

Materials needed better not have price restrictions! Or I won't be able to buy em for ridiculous amounts because I am impatient to the point of senseless! (I am being serious :D )
