  1. You need to get your head straight. When I hit middle school, I almost completely failed the 6th grade. In the 7th grade, I didn't do much better. This year I'm determined to excel. But we always have our downfalls. Either something happens to us, and we become emotional, or you just choose not to do anything. It happened to me about 4 weeks ago. My grandfather died of suffocation. It has left deep scars. But I was determined to not let it bring me down, but instead, inspire me. Sorry for the dramatic post. I feel quite exalted >.>
  2. It's Not Over - Daughtry
  3. They're a good band. It's always sad to hear somebody die (maybe not Hillary Clinton). R.I.P. Casey.

Dude, what are you trying to prove? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! We are alive, and no we are not "dying". Everyone has their own time to die, no matter how healthy, how fit. I hope this gets locked...
  5. I'd like a nice jacket, a Wii (for everyone in my house) and some money. And maybe an iPod. I can't get anything for anybody because I don't have any cash
  6. He proved his wife was a liar. Pretty damn good from what I can see. He's a soldier, so he thought "outside the box"... literally
  7. Those are fun to hear some of the time. Unless they don't involve explosions and mushroom clouds.
  8. The bombing you're talking about from the movie weren't nukes. That was the immediate retaliation for the attack on Pearl Harbor, which happened on December 7, 1941. The nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki didn't occur till 4 years later. Really? I need to look on Wiki >.>
  9. Before they bombed us though, we had signed peace treaties with them. Then they completely flattened Pearl Harbor. Then, they flew into Pearl Harbor, with jets, making it flatter. After that, we think "Let's bomb back!" (I particularly agree with this idea). So, we have two very powerful nukes, and we are about to bomb Hiroshima. Before we let off the nuke though, we hatch the peace medals they had given us onto the nukes. Fire one! Got them pretty well. Fire two, from what I remember in the movie, didn't go so well. In the end, Japan finally realizes they don't stand the slightest chance, and finally surrender. I hope I have made this clear to you. If it is not, I suggest asking a good historian, veteran, watch the movie, or go to Wiki. EDIT: LET ME BE CLEAR! I don't agree with the bombings at all! I just think what goes around comes around. Japan had it coming to them.
  10. Knowing that when my grandfather died, he was not in any pain.
  11. "Like the kid said, go to hell" - I forget who, but he's a characters in Doom.
  12. Get yourself a tattoo  She'll adore that. Why don't you get a picture frame that you can put multiple pictures of yourself in? Like the pictures of the good times.
  13. I'm blessed with athletic ability, but I'm big (with muscle) have short legs, and I can't jump very high. I can however run extremely fast, which is why I play football :D
  14. :ohnoes: "Mommy, did you lock all pointy and sharp things somewhere where Daddy can't find them?" "Yes sweetheart, good night." *noise of a chainsaw* That would make me crap my pants, and throw up at the same time. And that hurts... :uhh:
  15. You need to calm down. I was only joking.

I love and hate them. Since my grandfather was a fireman, they played the bagpipes at his funeral. First time ever hearing them. OT: Search Google. And listen to Zonorhc. He may not know what he's talking about, but his advice always works.... for some reason or another...
  17. You mean, you only have ONE thong? Do you EVER WASH IT?! Or do you wear it ALL THE TIME? Dude, you creep me out. But yet, you make me laugh at the same time.
  18. Bubs, I remember going to your site and finding it hard to believe you ran a marathon in a thong. I kept thinking you were demented. But yet, some crazy people end up being really important people in the end.... (George Bush...)
  19. Once you're in highschool you'll have quarter exams in all your subjects, (obviously, the name) each quarter. This is in the US, I just finished mine. They're not necessarily that hard, but some teachers' tests are. Depends on your school. And you have SATs in middle school? What's that stand for? Probably not the same as the SATs here, those are only for upperclass highschoolers, I think seniors and maybe juniors. i think it stands for standardized aptitude test. Im not 100% sure though in the UK we get them in year 2 (when we're 6/7) year 6 (when we're 10/11) and year 9 (when we're 13/14). I didnt get them in year 9 because I got to a private school which chooses to omit them in favour of internal exams I think that's what it stands for. It's our state test anyway, to see if we go on to the next grade... :ohnoes:
  20. HEY! There's nothing wrong with an 8:30 mile. Though I am a runningback for my football team... I should get better. But nevertheless, that still is a decent time.
  21. About 52. It's off Adult Swim now and replaced with Death Note... It seems quite boring. He gets the Death Note, can't go to Heaven or Hell for all eternity... Boring.
  22. You learn well. That is good. Yes, wear something to keep the wind off. It will stop your pathetic un-Man body from freezing over and killing you once you begin to work up a sweat. Wind chill is your enemy. Until you are a True Man, you will fear the icy teeth of the wind and its attacks against your sweat. When you have attained the proper level of Man, you will no longer require a windbreaker; the air itself will ionise around you from the sheer pressure of the testosterone you keep inside and keep you nicely warm. Yeah, her funeral wasn't that long ago... last week actually... I got new teeth too, titanium, and I didn't have to pay a cent.
  23. Dittoes :( I'd like to meet anybody from TIF. Even Bubsa! Note: If I do, I hope to GOD he is not wearing a thong.... Btw, that view of the bridge is beautiful.
  24. You guys in England get many exams, don't you? In America, we have the SATs, and those are near the end of our school year. This is my last year in Middle School, so I'll be tested on every subject (except P.E.).
