Nice idea indeed! although must be carfull that the theiving skill does not turn into full out robbery as it may get a negative reaction from the more mature players.... but yes with some tweaking it could work

Why is tip.it behind Zybez on google?
I belive it would be to do with SS wont it? everytime a player searches for an item in the zybez item database on SS it will put a request into the site counting as a view?

Barrows stats
Well idealy prayer could be a bit better as the drain rate is quick.... but there is no reason why you can't do it with those stats. this game is more about how you use your stats rather than what they are.... thatsd how a level 70 can win a 126 in a duel. I would be intrested to know your slayer level.... slayer dart it a very good speall for barrows.

Why can't F2P have...?
Actually, bank row is 8 spaces, so 8 x 1,5 = 12 :) I agree with everything else, though range and mage should get pots and rune arrows + Snare. Range now blows at higher lvls and bind holds for like 2 seconds. Somhow I grabed the number 7 out of somewhere....

Why can't F2P have...?
There are only a few things that I feel Jagex could offer to F2P without damaging the members version of the game, it is very important that updates given to F2P are considered as at the end of the day it's a business and should not update somthing that will stop members.... I feel F2P can benifit from: Wilderness capes Unicorn horn drops from unicorns The 'pking prayer' (redemption and all that) the ability to walk upto (but not further) than the temple on the rive salve (acts as an advert for members) Maple trees (just a few) afterall they are F2P items.... and 1.5 extra bank lines to counteract random event clothing ( 11 spaces)

Yer.... but animal fighting may be more fitting :P but thinking about it alot of people would rant if it had animal fighting :uhh: Human fighting could be done.... But I would need to but some thought into it so it doesnt subtrack from the area which is could so easily happen if it where rushed.

Most Famous RS People
I also see ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã hit U's name coppied more than Zezima these days...... a whole aray of differnt spacing.... all of the copies annoying as heck! You are Leetscape too arnt you hit? I seem to remember having to tell you off for advetising it (indirectly) at the time of the first 3rd party software rule change. ------------------ Becase masive rule breakers deserve no recognition.... I would prefer if his name wonder off into the distance. [/code]

I like the animal fighting idea... that could help improve the atmoshear of the guild. Oliver... dont think a black market would have a customs booth :P thanks for the idea though.

Someone Has Replied!
The forums and the game are in no way linked... it would require a total forum rewrite to be able to get them to communicate. Currently I don'f feel there is any possible way for actions in the forums to communicate to the game. The current only relation is with mutes ingame.... is a player mod mutes sombody that updates their account status that they are also temp banned fom using the forums. Nice idea but dont think it's possible.
-
Grrr - I was unfairly muted/banned!
No no sorry, as a moderator myself I am asking for your opinion...... Should a moderator get demodded for commiting a crime that Jagex polocy deams as requireing a a black mark against they account for? Ignore your mark..... if you heard of another pmod getting muted, and a black mark for ANY reason should they get demodded for it?

~ The Thieving Guild ~
The majority of guilds in the game in the view of most people dont represent a respectible level, you can get in a guild of master cooks without even beeing able to cook a cake! Sure 70 thieving would make this the highest required level for a guild, but it's a very reachable level..... it would only take a week if you really wanted to get in. whilst yes there would be rants from lower levels, I think for the general balancing of the game, and the rewards offered by this guild any level lower than 70 would be too low unless many of the features are removed. Sorry but in my opinion this is exactly what I am trying to escape from, things should not be only avalible to the rich merchants but to those who have actually earned somthing. The clothing well (hopefully) represent a status of skill and not wealth. I think I mentioned in the tread my reasons why not selling back is better..... in the real world the fact that these items are beeing sold in a black market is becase they are illegal or stolen them selves.... I doubt the stall holders would be willing to buy back. :-# Thanks for the feedback though!

add a dragon slayer cape?
It's more of a suggestion than a debate...... Personally though I would think it would be a terrible idea and would totaly devfalue the system of the capes. It is possible to open an account, and have defeated dragon slayer within a few days although yes it is a mile stone it is not somthing that should be shown as a ahivmnet. Every time you see a player wearing a rune plate or a green dragon hide body, do you go: "WOW that guy (or girl) finnished dragon slayer!!!!" :?: Or do you say:" _________ " (nothing) as they are so common? Also the cape is a good piece of armour, it has the same stats as the obsadian cape and so needs a good level of protection.... it's the second bast cape in the game! It shoudl not be rewared to people who finnish a quest that is classed as intermediate.

Thanks for all the support (and siggies) everybody!

Woa, people gone mad?!?!
Whilst it is "abusing a bug" it is not somthing punished by Jagex. To be in breach of this rule you would have to be benifiting from it.... so if the player who knows how to do it showed sombody eles for money it would be bug abuse.... hower this is more "glitch using" :-$

Do you use other RS Fansite Forums than Tip.it?

They are taking a week off most months now..... nothing to get worked up about.

11 September 2007 - Players' Gallery
They (Jagex) once said that it would take several months from one to be sent in to it beeing put online. The have to keep them there where most of Jagex can see them incase they are stolen images..... which quite a few are.

Achievement diary reward
From there wording of "a small chance" I suspect it would probaly be aroun a 1:20 ratio for doubles. I will have to look into it though.

Herbs
Pretty much anything that is not a Guam has a reasonable sized market for them and are worth somthing. If in a situation where inventory space is limited, dont pick up guam, Tarromin, or Manatrill (sp), above this all the herbs give a fairly respectable xp amount, and so GP worth.

~ The Thieving Guild ~
Well the majority of things are untradable and rightly so! for example the clothing must be untradable to keep the feel of the guild. I wish to have people who have earnt their items, and have the clothing as a record of their work, so they cannot be tradable. The guild should be used by those who want to have the items, not be merchant who just wnat to sell. But with som items like the potions and beer there can be tradable. For these items they are for people who don't want the clothing.... they need somthing that they can get unlimited off and use the guild as a place to repeatibly return to. I will but some thought into exchange rate, and get back to you soon! After a bit of thought = about 10bs for evey GP sounds about right....... but I have not put too much though into that, to be honest with you they are not directly related currancys.
