Probaly not, they would have to train combat pretty hard do get through the abyss monsters. it would be no differnt than it is now...... autoers are too low to be attacked by pkers.

How do you know? most viruses keyloggers and other spyware are not their to destroy your computer..... then sit at the back and will go unnoticed. You say you have no firewall, antivirus etc? Well you almost definatly have some spyware. Account security is very very important! if you somhow recived a very bad virus you have no defence against it. You must understand moderators have acsess to very sensivtive infomation, protected by Data protection laws, and infomation on prodeurce and operations that cannot be out in the general public. The adminisraitors need to be sure that you are safe! sure you will never be 100% safe, but there needs to be alot of security. I will admit windows 98 is one of the best windows systems there has been, although now with it's age there are alot of flaws in it. Your computer is not secure, in alot of cases you only need to be connected to the internt to be at risk, especially without a firewall! it's crazy in this day and age to not use a firewall! Also remember, even tip.it forums is not secure, there are images and files zapping around all over the place.... although it is well managed, and i would not class it as a dangerous place to be it is most definatly not secure. As for point 2, it comes down to fairness..... the moderators and admin have a right to be left in peace, they dont want to be constanly harrased about aplicatiosn that they probaly dont know about.

A few months back the limit was set so we could not go past 1billion total xp (in the high scores) this will be upgraded to 2billion xp probaly (in the high scores), after this point total xp will stop beeing calculated. The player is still able to gain xp in individual skills but it is fixed so the high scores wont display it increasing in total xp. Jagex have said previousally they dont know what would happen if they missed a situation which allowed a player to break the limit...... it is untested as they are scared testing it could break the game. if say sombody found a way to break the GP gap they belive that the money will switch to a negative number! although this was only a guess.

Well... I have talked to the developer of this before it was released (mod greg) in clan chat, and he was guessing what people would be ranting about :P It's taken for granted these days that there will be alot of rants about every update... it's a fact! It's not suprising really though.... there are 1,000,000 account with acsess to the forums, they are bound to be people who honestly dont like the update, and to be honest 90 people out of a possible million aint that many rants. The only update I remember that got no rants (other than a few people stressed over gout weed) was achivment diarys..... It was amazing the lack of rants on that one! (it was extreamly good though.... mod maz ftw!). Any company will tell you that they dont expect compliments, it's human nature in this day and age not to say thankyou in public.... although everybody loves to complain! :P

That is correct, Jagex have set the max xp limit at 200million xp although it is possible to go slightly higher. The game works on a 32 bit system and in that system the maximum number possible to reach is 2,147,483,647 (2.1billion) although xp also work in desimals of xp, so for example some tasks could get 67.5xp This lowers the limit buy adding a desimal, so the maximum limit possible for xp in this game would be 214,748,364.7 (214.7million) also the desission was taken that 214,748,364 would look messy, so it was rounded to 200million xp. It is doubtfull that this will be increased for the reasons it was added in the first place. When applying the equasion for the level gaps it would mean at 200million xp your level in any given skill would be 126. The question to ask, should it be done? in my opinion anything higher than 100 would mess up the game, it would be wrong and would place too much pressure on players. The untimate goals would essentially become un obtainable.

Nothing annoys me more when sombody cant explain why they dont like somthing...... mindless ranting never helped anyone :P Even if you dont think there is an issue with abby pkers, I am sure people would find it harder to claim they are not the "lowest" of all pker types. Even tag teaming atleast involves some skill and effort put into the pk, but with abby pkers it's just not hard. *snare* *spec spec* *slash* DEAD "I won't turn around and say OMG dragon dagger over powered!" althugh I would claim our charicters defence aginst slash attacks is too low.... (but thats a differnt rant :P) All I am traying to say is RC PKing is PKing for the PKer who cant PK, it requires less than a 10th of the skill and method of a real pker, and it picks on skillers, who tend to be the weakest people in the wildernss. Now you could claim that i am saying this as a guy who is always getting Abby pked.... but as a level 117 I am too high for most of them, yet the issue still annoys me. Abby pking is the lowest forum of pking.

it has not changed my opinion on them at all..... basically everybody said they are only willing to fight if they think they will win, if there is a chance of them losing ..... they will run straight away. On adverage (generaly speaking of all pkers) they are less mature, ruder, and harder to get on with than non pkers. Then you get RC pkers, who are the same...... but lazy...... There is no challenge in RC pking, they just do it for the glories, they have no skill at pking and really really need to find somthing better to do with their time than standing on a hill waiting for an unarmed skiller to come past. The RCer loses more than the pker gains and with the price of glories these days, what a pker can gain is really tiny. The reason the abyiss is in the wilderness if not for RC pkers, but it was for the "general risk of the wilderness". Whilst I can respect a talented pker (even if I dont like them) I can's stand the RC pkers.

It is a valid point.... really we have no hope of stopping the gold farmers, it is their customers we need to go after. However it's my opinion that this should be as much the responsioblity of the wider community as it is of Jagex them selves, we need to take a stand.

Remember to use the void knight clothing you have to take off all of your stat and hit boosting items..... so it does not really work out 10% better.

I died one of poison..... I think I lost some mime stuff and guthix armour (most of it). Luckily though I was in lumbridge and was able to get everything back. I dont think I have ever died properly with loss since F2p in dragon slayer and that was only mithral stuff.

Oh no! it looks like the Jmods actually have a personality! Sorry.... but what the heck are you complaining about? it was a personal way of saying "thanks, have a nice day".... what wrong with that! Just be glad that it's clear Jagex apreciated your message, and the guy who replied wanted to show his human side. The message they sent had all the infomation you needed, although it did not sound very personal.... so it was made personal. Please find somthing actually worth complaining about, human happy personality is really really a daft thing to rant about.

As a forum mod for coming upto a year I would have to say no, if it was publically stated that "thes players can recomend moderators" their gaming would be hell. You would be amazed with the amount of PM's I get from total strangers trying to be my friend for what turns out to be no other reason than thining I can get them modded...... it is encdibaly selfish, not not very reliable. Although I have not seen English in a few months, I do know him... and last time i was talking to him via private he was not a moderartor, although i have no way of knowing why there probaly are reasons as to why (no matetr how small). Also i know LGH (lordGreyHawk), he is a great guy and I have alot of respect for his power as a moderator, and as a person...... great person and great moderator, but he is no better than any other forum mod for knowing what a good moderator was made of. If this system did exist, there is no reason why all the moderators could not suggest...... after all the final say will be with Jagex, so does it matter who says it? I understand from your other thread in rants you have run into a few bad player mods, but may i remind you there are over 6,000 player mods, there is no way that you will not find some bad ones in the group no matter how they are selected. The current way that i know mods are selected by is very strong, and the issues that are possible to find are found. Yes mistakes are found later on, but no matter of searching att he time would have made a differnce. Jagex wound make any old player a mod.... we do have to keep alot of infomation confidentail the same as any group of moderators on any game or forum would have to do..... they put alot of thought into each and every moderator, and they are not selected unless every member of the curator team involved with recruitment agrees that it is a good move.

I could speak for hours on the subject of the bible and it's inconsistancies but i will not as i think it is unfair to question the belief systems of others. However I have no issue at all with homosexuality, and why should I? I am not one, will never be one....... but what exactly makes it wrong? Love is an emmotion shown to one or more people, if that person happenes to be of the same gender how can sombody possibly judge their emotion as being wrong? The important thing to remeber about the bible is that it was written by people in a time when people though differnetly. It was not written by a god, or even Jesus...... it was written by people who claimed (there is no proof) to know him some time after his death. Whilst I dont deny that anybody of any faith or no faith can take away and learn somthing from any holy text it is very important to remember that it based totaly on opinions, no matter how they where written they will always remain written (and edited) by humans. The bible teaches homosexuality is wrong, and the jewish holy text teaches not to eat pork! But why does the jewish text teach not to eat pork? is it because there is somthing wrong with eating pork? or is it actually because at the time of it's writting the parasites and bugs that lived in pork ment it was not safe to eat? Same goes with the religeous dress of muslims, the actuall clothing holds no fixed foundations in the religeon, it just happens when the rule book was written the area the religeon was based ment it was sensible to protect the face from blowing sand/dirt. I personaly dont agree that anybody should totaly place their opinions and judgments fully on a translated book written 1000's of years ago, by humans who are bound to have stamped personal opinions all over it. Whilst I accept religeon as perfectly good reason to disagree with homosexuality I personally dont place more respect in an opinion based on what you truely belive.

I was bullied for around 3 years, in the end stopping it was not all that hard. Most people offering advice tell you to talk to somboy about it, or tell the bullies how it makes you feel. However I dubt this has ever been said by a current victim of bullying. I personaly belive the "tell sombody" idea..... does not work! infact it makes it worse. To stoped it; I looked at the simple question..... "why are they bullying me?" The answer was simple, it was not becase they did not like me, or that there was anything wrong with me..... it was becase they felt I was an easy target who abusing me could make them look better infront of their friends. Most people will find the bully will only bully to make them selves look better to their so called "friends". To stop it, you need to take away their reason, this is done in a few steps. 1. stop caring "I dont care what you think" it is amazingly powerfull, you dont act with it, you dont say it.... you just do it. Block off the emotion.... no longer care about their opinion. As far as I am conserned the bullies opinion about anything is worth nothing. It is hard to do, and you have to make an effort to it, but it is very possible to stop caring. 2. Make a joke! Q. "Is that skelaton your only friend?" A. "no I am also friends with a toilet brush!" You may think you may now look like an idiot..... but who cares! the bully tried to make a joke, and you went along with it! again it comes back to point one, their joke is nothing more than that...... a Joke..... you can take it in a few ways, either let it effect you, and possibly become upset about it, or think...... "ooo! a joke! how can I join in!" Bullys think they are funny! dont let them have the last word.... you will nearly always find you can make a better joke than they can! 3. Look at your friends! this needs to be done while you have still held on to them. Beeing the victim can and will cost you friends, look how your friends treat you, if you don't like who they are anymore, make the move! you dont need them!new fiends can be made, it is not hard, but the baggage of failed friend ships can drag you down. I personally took this step when i found one of the actions I made becase of my friends was actually itself bullying...... thats not who I wanted to be! I stoped beeing their friends. This does not mean you have to hate them.... they where your friend and you need to remember this. They are just not who you spend your time with anymore, take some time apart! It will change your life. 4. dont let it go to far! I think partly becase of how I was brought up, and that with the bullying..... I do have some social problems (which is probaly why I hide on the internet :P).... basically I let it go to far, I did not sort the issue soon enough. I though the only way to stop it was to talk to sombody, which I was not going to do....... There are other ways! These days, I have left my town and am now living in my university city, I made a 100% fresh start, and have a great set of new friends. I am very happy (although I still hide on the internet :P)
