Exactly. Generally it's not an issue, but why take chances?

lmao i haven't created a real forum and put effort in? Yes there aren't a ton of categories and such yet, but one can only think of so many things at once when he has things going on in his life, maybe you should give suggestions instead of trying to insult me? Oh and wait, so you want me to have my own domain? Sure, you have the cash then right? You can get domains these days for less then it costs for 1 month of RS. He's not putting you down, it's a reality check. You've created a message board on a free host and about a broad topic that is the topic of millions of other sites/message boards. You can't expect it to survive. All I'm saying is, I've been in your boat before, but when you offer nothing different from the millions of other sites out there you're doomed to fail. Why should I join your site? If you can provide an answer of something I can't find anywhere else, then I'll join.

see what you can do about updating it ;) Yeah, but I'm no good at updating computers or how to do them. So I'm pretty much stuck with 256mb ram. :| not hard, go to some comp store, buy another 256 for $30 US (how much mine was :? ), open up your CPU, put it into the RAM slot, ta da! :) Yeah, cause static electricity is nothing to worry about . I would not recommend opening up your computer to work in it unless you have some experience.

self-edit They don't really stand out from the rest of the bands in their genre so I don't really enjoy them.

Seriously..did you read anyone's posts? Half of these posts talk a bout sites that are free . Does it have to be Hold' em? I'm seriously sick of this poker phase. Everyone's all "omgozrz hold em like teh best 1one11o!!." I do think it's a good game, but there's so many poker games out there all and no one even tries them. They just see hold 'em on tv and play that. Poker's becoming mtv..

Of course you have to be 18 ;) That's probably a good idea though. Of course, you need to wait 2 months so I can turn 18 ;). I saw an ad on tv the other day for absolutepoker.com and remembered this topic. I haven't checked the site, but it mentioned being free and stuffs? Someone who isn't as lazy could check it out.

Mmm i dunno iTunes has got some pretty obscure music on there. Bands that are incredibly hard to find in real music stores. They have a library of over 1,500,000 songs Numerous times I haven't found what I'm looking for? I know they might not be able to control this, but it is a reason I don't use it.

Times when you really wonder if your brain works.

Similar to your story, one time I was with a friend at the mall and we were looking at some stuff when I realized I was chewing on something. I had to ask "Matt, what's in my mouth?" cause I had no idea and turns out I was chewing on the string of my hoodie. It was so weird.. -
Never have and I don't plan on it. I'd consider if they actually had good music on there. The problem is that they'll put on songs that get the most downloads which in most cases is the crap played on mtv. Sure, it works, but it keeps me from finding what I want on there.

Uhm, sure. I'll post another tonight or tomorrow. Thanks

2.5+ years later you'll be playing the games at low resolution and medium to low detail though wont' you? You guys are doing this comparison completely wrong and I hope everyone reads this. The comparison here is console gaming vs pc GAMING. 99% of the reasons posted for pc gaming are features that make it a computer not a game system. "Well liek I usorz my computer for other stuffs like haxxoring and word and stuff." So? That isn't relevant to gaming. For my money, and assuming I will get the same amount of satisfaction from 4 years of console or 4 years of pc gaming, then a console is a better deal. Granted, I have nothing wrong with people liking pc. I probably would too with a better computer, but look at it this way. I worked over the summer spent the money I needed to spend and had enough money to preorder my xbox 360 and some games. I could not afford a new computer that could run even the current games let alone run games 4 years from now. It would not be worth my money to upgrade because my processor is too slow now, my graphics card is crap, and my ram is way too slow. The xbox money could probably have been spent to upgrade all of those, but then I'd want things like a new monitor cause of this crap resolution, etc.

Yeah $600 will get you a great computer . This is exactly why I enjoy console gaming and not computer gaming. I made a bad decision about 4 years ago and bought myself a comp. It cost $850 which was a lot for a 13-14 year old and I got totally ripped. Yes, it was my fault, but even 6 months later I couldn't play half the games on the market. 4 years later and I can still play ever ps2 game I have. I'd say your $600 on a computer is a major waste. I already preordered my 360 and I am anxiously awaiting it. what are u talking about ryan? u make it sound like $600 for a console is a good deal. advertising has screwd with your brain. The Xbox 360 does NOT cost $600. You can buy the core system for $300 or the premium for $400. So you guys can stop with the $600 rubbish. Anything after spending the 400/300 = whatever you also have to pay for your comp to do gaming. ~ShadowFaxPZ - Would my argument be presented better if I used 50 spaces between my sentences? Didn't think so. Just upgrading my RAM wasn't going to cut it, since computers have things called processors? Scenario: Buy a new console every 4-5 years for $300 - $400. Upgrade my computer's ram ever 1.5 - 2 years and then every 2 - 3 years (5 total following original purchase) buy a new computer. Hrmm which one saves me a lot more money and still gives the same amount of satisfaction. Console wins in the total utility department. Good Night. what r u talking about ryan u make it sound like 300-400 dollars for a console is a good deal. and that thing about processors. consoles also have processors..... so whats your point? You're saying 300-400 dollars for a console is a bad deal? Insane. And, yes, consoles have processors, but do I need to upgrad the processor on my console when a new game comes out for that console? No. And I'd really like to just drop this because we're way off topic.

Look, you got me all wrong here. I love consoles. Heck, I find Xbox and GameCube as fun as hell. I'm only buying the Revolution in terms of Next-Gen consoles as it's the cheapest one. GameCube was cheap and it was fun, I'll expect it to be the same with Rev. And because a lot more people will be able to afford the Rev. than the rest of the Consoles. It's just that to me, you can just use that money to upgrade your computer that you prolly use everyday than spend it on a console you play once a week after the hype wears off. Oh and the bundles I've seen worth buying are more than $600 plus. Put that in CAD and it explodes a lot more. Alright, well I guess this all is a misunderstanding so not point in dragging it on ;). You're right, I did spend $600 but that included extras like 3 games and another controller, etc. The point of this thread wasn't pc vs. xbox so I say we just drop it 8)

Even though I seemed confident on my answer earlier, after some google browsing, how do they make money with free tools such as gmail, blogger, google earth?
-
Yahoo used to have a google-powered results sometime. http://searchenginewatch.com/searchday/ ... hp/3314171 Explains a bit from the last year or so. Thanks for the article :).
-
And since ebay owns paypal, ebay fees + paypal fees = big money. Google also provides http://www.google.com/services/, from which I've been told they make a lot of money. That page talks about adsense, but as you can see they have "google search for your business" which is probably a big moneymaker for them. Edit: Sorry, but this seems like the right thread. Someone please tell me that google now owns yahoo because yahoo is constantly stealing ideas. Their search engines provides results that look exactly the same and now they provide an ad solution which provides results that look exactly the same. It's ridiculous.

Or the people can not be so lazy and color themselves? As if buddies aren't easy enough already.

Looks like you made a good decision :). Webhostingbuzz is obviously overselling and I would not recommend them then.
