  1. God is Omnimax, according to the bible. He knows everything that will ever happen and has happened, and can do absolutely anything. Despite this, he created humanity, KNOWING that they would be seduced by a serpent. He created the serpent, KNOWING that it would seduce Eve. He created the tree of knowledge, KNOWING that it would be eaten despite his telling man not to(This is still ridiculous, as since humanity at this time has no knowledge of good or evil, and thus doesn't know that eating the apple is bad. "God told them so" is not a good reason). So, I come to the conclusion, that should he exist, he deliberately inflicted these "scars" upon you, on purpose, in full knowledge. That is, of course, if he existed, which based on this is not logical. If God is willing to prevent evil, but is not able? Then he is not omnipotent, directly contradicting the bible. If he is able, but not willing? Then he is evil, as he allows evil to happen even though he could easily stop it, as well as CREATING that evil, in the FULL KNOWLEDGE that it would be evil. If he is able and willing? Then evil should not exist. If he isn't able or willing? Then he's not God. ~Epicurus. Just as an aside, there is no mention in the bible whatsoever of the serpent being Satan. Not at all. I doubt the able, but not willing point. God is able. However, he is not willing because of free will. This aligns with omniscience if you think of him knowing all that ever will be but still having faith that humanity will make the correct choices. Also, you could say that God knows all that ever could be. Besides, if there were no evil there would be no way of judging what is good. Also, you learn a lot from evil/bad events. They have taught me more about life than almost anything else.
  2. Oh, sure I can blame you, especially since you provided the extra "proof" email from his mother. :P That being said, I won't blame you, and I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. :)
  3. Religion isn't inherited. No, but it is part of your heritage, like it or not.
  4. What? Oh by the way, I'm 1/3rd Atheist and 2/3rds Christian. Jewish father, Catholic mother, or vice versa. Not that hard. OT: I've seen some strange signs outside churches before, but that one... I just don't know. :? EDIT: *points up* Oh dang, naughty naughty OP :shame:
  5. Well, unfortunately it has to be constantly up because otherwise it would be too easy.
  6. Looks like I need to do some more skilling, at least till all skills are 60+. I have a feeling this quest is going to have huge requirements. Probably should level range to 70 too :( I don't like training that.
  7. Well, not insane 3.4 mil luck, but I got a Verac's flail on my first run :P I might post a pic of me selling it on the GE later, but I've never uploaded a pic before, so I don't know.
  8. [hide=Wow Barrows] Lmfao no, this is ridiculous: I wonder how much of Dharok's I can get tonight? Now that is rediculous luck. The best I've ever got ... and the only ... was karils' bow. Once I thought I got guth spear but that was my own. OMFG This would just be silly, but I've just made so much money so luckily I'm actually laughing IRL!! [/hide] I'm gonna do me a barrows run... I hope I have as much luck as you  BTW, Gallade, those were all one person
  9. I resent that...lol I actually liked the zombie head. He's so much fun to pull out and laugh at every now and again. I will admit though, he doesn't really have that much use after you see all the chat options, but really, do many holiday items have a use beyond having a bit of temporary fun with them?
  10. I am somewhat ashamed to have a similar name to him. I did meet him once in game, I think, we were both working on hunting and he seemed to be a nice fellow. Still, lots of lols to this. He was kidding, to be sure, just having some fun to see what people's reactions would be(I hope :ohnoes: ).
  11. Well, umm... Technically it's not any part of your combat level since you're melee based, but whatever... :P
  12. [hide=Sorry to spoil your fun...] [/hide] All from the new PvP worlds... Get the staff as drop, can only use new spells with the staff.
  13. It's pathetic, I can't even remember when I started playing...hmm.... gotta be around 6 or 7 years now. Probably somewhere between 6-6 1/2. (I know my levels are pathetic for having been playing that long). A few breaks here and there, normally a couple months, maybe one about 6 months (missed both bunny ears and scythe #-o Also missed out on the earlier drops either because I couldn't get on on holidays, or because I was too lazy to search for them. :wall: Coulda had me a few million. Almost as bad as dropping a disc of returning because I had no clue what it was...I had it in my hands!!
  14. In my best 1 am brain thinking stuff, this is a joke meant to parody all the threads that pop up for every little possible thing that could rise in price on the G.E. Though honestly, if the author hates them enough to parody them, why take up board space with a completely useless thread. Though I did get a bit of a laugh over that totally awesome irrefutable evidence.
  15. Two Words: World Peace. :twss: Seriously, though, it would be nice to have the hours of time back, though they were hours of enjoyment, I think I could have done so much more. No sense dwelling on the what-might-have-been though. I do wish I knew what life would be like though.
  16. My simple response to your question: No, it's not really that bad, but there are better things that one could do to make money and/or fight something. Not saying fighting the mole is a waste of time, but if you only want to make money there are easier ways to do it. That being said, I enjoy me some mole soloing every once in a while (especially since it's the only boss I know how to solo ) (or fight at all for that matter) .
  17. Um, I'm interested as to what you consider an "expert", because I know for a fact I'm more experienced at killing that beast than most, and I don't ever use protect from magic because that would in fact be a bad/stupid decision on my part if I were to use it. That's exactly what he's saying, "if you are not an expert." Since you are experienced, then you are at the "expert" level he is talking about and hence do not need to use protect from magic.
  18. As far as I know, it does have such a mechanism. I couldn't join yellow at one point because it was full. And, just to contradict your first point, I've played two games on green and won both, gaining 600 tokens each time.
  19. Unfortunately, the game won't even start if there is no one on the other team. It just says like "waiting for players"
  20. My guess would be that it isn't on there because it doesn't take a talisman to get into and that is supposedly how the map locates them.
  21. I think the best part so far is the level I got from getting the free exp from showing the talismans. Plus, I got the omni talisman. Question: Since the law staff doesn't have combat stats, does the the omni staff have combat stats because it contains the law powers, or what?
  22. Half of you are missing the point, at least how I interpret it. It's not at all about the absence of a suitable alternative to pking, or a lament about it being gone. It's about pointing out how pkers and skillers played almost completely different games. Sure, a lot of people already knew this, but chi stated it in a much more elegant way. He's not looking for sympathy, or really even for Jagex to make a good pking minigame, he's trying to get people to understand how the pkers felt. To them, it was like losing an entire game. For those of you saying "GET OVER IT," I'm pretty sure he's already over it, considering he dropped everything and quit. He's not complaining, he's explaining. For those of you who don't get that, all I can do is shake my head.
  23. Yea for extrapolation!!!! On topic: Wasn't there some hidden advantage someone got for being a pure in RS1? Or maybe it was just every combat skill affected your combat level, not just your highest of the three styles, so every time you leveled up a combat related skill your combat went up. Personally, I don't see how being a pure helped after RS2 came out. I guess I never was a big PKer, so I guess it probably had to give them a slight edge, but I don't think it was as great as the original RS1 pures had.
  24. Supposedly, they might be coming if Jagex ever releases the eastern lands. Currently, they just don't fit in the game. End of story for me.
