Charging for item lending moral?
The reason it's against the rules is not because it's immoral, but because it is impossible to control. Say you are lending an item for 3k. You have two options here. One, you can collect your 3k before you lend out the item. In this case, you could just pocket the money and walk away, as the old "trust trade" scam went. In the second case, you lend the item for a select period of time, and then collect. This time, the other player can just walk away with the lent item and you are out of luck until the time period is over. If you choose to lend until one player logs out, then you are back to the first situation of you walking away, or, in this case, logging out, and you pocket the profit without any penalty. It's against the rules because of the possibility of scammers promising to lend an item just so they can get rich and it would be a nightmare for customer support to sort through the valid complaints of scamming.

A child of the 90's, this is what shaped my world.(few pics)
Gotta love the 90s. So many memories I had forgotten about. I don't think anyone mentioned these two shows: Wild n' Crazy Kids and ...ohh... What's it's name... the one on nick that's name was like a question and they always pied people in the face...Oh yeah, What Would You Do?. (Thanks wikipedia) So many memories. Loved Kenan and Kel and All That, Doug and others, and I still have almost every Animorphs book.

The New Runescape - Glitches in H-D!
My turn! Unfortunately, I'm horrible about taking pictures, but I've got a couple of glitches. One is just a slight change to one the original poster found. The amulet of glory in a quest hall can be seen, but only just. For me it was a tiny spot on the wall. I think you can even see it in the pic as a tiny green dot. Not that that is what a glory looks like, but you can at least tell where it is supposed to be. Second, on the second floor of the grand tree, the minimap is a map of the third floor of the grand tree, making it a little hard to navigate without looking directly at where your character is moving.

training summoning cheaply.
Well, there is one way to check if its a typo, qeltar. On the pouch making screen, if you right click a pouch there is an option for you can see the list of ingrediants that make up that pouch.

"Jagex Endorses Satanism" ???
I wouldn't go there, some people get really defensive. And I mean REALLY defensive.

New Robes?
You know, you'd think they would address that. But of course, then then you'd get complainers saying I liked them better before. Easier to not change them and hope people don't notice what they are missing. :-$

New Summoning advert on Runescape.com
Just in case anyone happens to be wondering, the german word literally translates to incantation.

Server crash yet again?
Just a theory: Maybe they updated the older accounts yesterday and did the newer ones today, and its really starting to sound like its for summoning if all f2p accounts are working. Another slight indicator that summoning will be p2p only.

Has Construction been left in the Sawdust?
 Oo, that actually sounds kinda exciting... lol at the very least it would add to the excitement a little, just sitting there chopping is kinda boring. In my opinion, construction is one of the fullest skills available. There is something to build all the way up to lvl 99, which can't be said for many other skills. I think the only thing they would ever need to add to construction would be something to link it to a separate new update, like a quest or new skill.

Wrong AGAIN, Jagex... Calculus 101 revisited?
Honestly, the Calculus class number would depend on the college/university you attended. And Calculus 101? that could simply translate to Calculus I, being differentiable calculus, which has absolutely nothing to do with this whatsoever. OT: I almost laughed out loud when I heard they were raising the limit to 30k if all quests were completed. They make it sound like such a dramatic change. "ten-times what it is now" lol. I was thinking that that would not satisfy most people, though it did satisfy more people than I originally thought.

RWT is not beat
You DONT sell them. The guy who has the 1.1 buys them and the guy with the 20mil trades the money for the machetes. HUGE loophole Wow, that's the first semi-viable loophole I've seen so far. And you don't even really need to give away your password to do it. Something like this should certainly be reported, but in the meantime: 1. There really isn't an infinite supply of red topaz on the GE. 2. Not a guaranteed way to transfer money: if someone sells the machetes for a lower price the GE takes those first, SO: 3. Someone should do this, sounds like a fun way to steal from RWTers, just sell machetes for lowest GE price, so RWTers buy yours rather than their customers. Only problem, when this is found out, doing so might lump your account in with those who actually used this for RWTing.

RWT is not beat
you'd be surprised, jagex isnt' as awesome at detecting alot of things they claim. I've played for 6+ years and bent the rules on several accounts and never even been black marked. As have I, also without a black mark(didnt even know there was a black mark system til a few days ago), though I havent for a couple years now. I'm not talking your normal drop trade and stuff like that, but a shift in an IP adress from one country to another combined with insane streaks of playing nonstop to earn money. edit: oh, and come on already! why are there so many topics that talk about RWT continuing. All of them discuss pretty much the same thing and some people will believe it, and others wont. there is really nothing to talk about here.

RWT is not beat
Oh yeah, its so hard to detect a dramatic shift in IP address and account activity...oh wait, no its not. nice try though.

10 December 2007 - ALL Updates!
and [/hide] :-w Wow, like that wont be easy to detect... A dramatic change in account activity in conjunction with a change in IP address... Its like flashing a neon sign in Jagex's face saying "BAN ME!"

10 December 2007 - ALL Updates!
Yeah! More Bank Space!!! lol, I've been wanting to post that for a while now. That is seriously the thing that effects me the most out of all the updates. Overall, I am a very independent player. I dont rely on other players for much, and that eliminates many of the problems I would have had with the updates. Oh, and I can finally go into the wilderness and explore fairly freely, with only computer AI to combat rather than a human controller. The only other thing might be balanced trades... I sometimes give stuff to my friend to help him out. Oh well, I guess Ill just start paying him for the gems he gives me.

The truth, just quit
All I really have to say to this is that just because you interpret what he said as an order does not mean he meant it that way. This is one thing about internet communication that is flawed. You don't get things like tone of voice or facial expressions, and meanings can be changed so easily without them. And also, I'd leave Jesus out of this, as many people think he is very important to the grand scheme of things(including me) and I really don't want this to turn into a debate of faith.

The truth, just quit
Electrical, I think you need a little bit of support from someone here, so let me say that I thank you for the advice. I will not follow it, however, as I feel I do not need to. People who get angry at you for just suggesting something are probably just overreacting because of the way the update affected them. And, seriously, if the update affected them so tremendously, they are probably the ones who should follow your advice the most. To others, you do not have to be angry at his suggestion. Calmly state that you disagree with his opinion rather than just be like "OMG don't tell me what to do!" Other than that, always remember that it is just a game. At this point, I do not think there is much chance of Jagex removing the updates, so either get used to it or quit and move on in life. Either way, please stop complaining, and take up a bigger cause in life than trying to keep a stupid online game the way you love it. Oh, there I go giving you advice now. I'm sorry, I should consider your feelings when making my post and not make any suggestions whatsoever.[/sarcasm](really the only way to get my tone across here) Electrical's post does not necessarily apply to runescape just because of the update, but can be considered independently. He's right, you know. What does runescape mean in the grand scheme of things?

Chaos Elemental Hints toward Summoning?
I don't see why everyone is so sure that the life rune is still coming out. It seems to me that the life rune was developed on the idea that summoning would be part of magic, and, now that it is not and is a separate skill, there is no reason to believe that summoning will use runes at all.
