Next Gen Bets: X360 PS3 or Wii?
Unless they got laser heads to read both formats, I find that hard to believe.

Is search still broken?
Yes, it is the case of there being too many results. And apparently we did tell you that last time (http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=501 ... =search%2A). And as a rule of thumb, you should always be restricting yourself to at least a category. While that will not help you with very common words (eg: prayer, page, etc), you can work your way around that using wild card searches. Like what I did above, 'search' by itself was too common, but 'search*' was covering all variations of the word. I also restricted it to the title only, which made the results set smaller.

Life isn't fair. Do rich kids live a better life?
Being that I was born into a ah, lower-lower class (read: sitting just above the "poverty line" in regards to net family income), I can honestly say that having money probably wouldn't have changed much. IMO, it's never about how much money you have, it's all about how you chose to use it. And I also think that people who aren't rich generally know the value of really earning something for yourself. I have friends whose parents have bought them everything, and they still don't respect / appreiated what they have because none of it was a result of anything they did. [/small-rant] BlueLancer pretty much got it. Coming from the bottom and working your way to the top is more rewarding than starting at the top. I'm still near the bottom, but that's mainly due to Uni leeching all my funds :(

Is search still broken?
And like last time, use something that isn't so broad. If a word is too common, phpbb is going to tell you that there are no results, rather than list hundreds of pages of rusults.

Depression...
In all seriousness, who here has actually tried taking their own life before?

Jericho(TV show)
I did notice the whole problem with the interweb and communications, but meah. If I missed anything else, you can pin it on its inabilty to captivate me into giving it my full attention at the time.

What type of computer should I get my bro?
Probably be over $500, but on the other side, probably wouldn't have to upgrade for another few years at least. Cept for perhaps the CPU but that's trivial.

Jericho(TV show)
I watched it for the first time last week and it didn't really peak my interest. Woopee, a fire at a school, good stuff :hsugh:

Depression...
[cabbage] it's just a phase, it'll end. Any depression that last longer than a few weeks is serious and should be diagnosed and treated by your GP. I'd state some more advise, but since I burried my past in order to move forward in life, I'm probably not the best person to offer any. Just don't bottle up emotion, that'll do more harm that good - I know that from experience.

annoying things about your family
Hmm... I have no real annoyance with my sister, more so my mum. She has always been on my case saying stuff like "why can't you be more like your sister?" "You better do well in that!" :uhh: It honestly pisses me off. I got it at school from teachers as well till I eventually just told one of them "will you piss off - I'm not my sister" and that message eventually rippled through the rest of the techers and they stopped expecting me to perfect marks for everything. Now all I wish is that my mum would come to the same conclusion and stop giving me [cabbage] about my results whenever they're not crash hot. And she's also very old-fashioned. She knows next to nothing about anything that is current, she's about 10 years behind everything. There's also the "sure you can do anything" attitude she has with my sister, but when it comes to me, she treats me like I'm a bloody child that needs to be made sure I'm safe :uhh: Cliffs: I really do hate my mum.

I have always liked this trick...

pokemon...
I'm fairly certain the transfer glitch still exists though. Haven't tried it out on 3rd and 4th gen, but it would suprise me if they somehow fixed that.

pokemon...
If it's the one I'm thinking of, there's a trainer near where you get on the SS ANNE just after rock tunnel, juggler / gambler (think gambler) that you have to not battle. And there's the kid who wares shorts up near bills house after nugget bridge. What you gotta do is walk in front of either of them (so they have to move towards you) and press start before the exlamation point pops up over their head. Then you fly to the other location and battle the other person. There's something else to it, but that's all I can remember off the top of my head.

Keeping Healthy.
I mainly eat take-away and microwave dinners, and I don't get sick either. Awesome stock immune system is not dependant on what you eat  The only thing I take is metamucil since I don't get enough fibre normally, everything else I generally have covered.

What type of computer should I get my bro?
Firstly, find out what he'd be using for over the next few years - especially if you're going to build it yourself / together. And generally stay away from laptops. They're a pain to upgrade and wouldn't exactly be justified unless he was a college / uni student.

Cheap days out?
That's assuming you got everything you need. If not, you can easily set yourself back $1,000 - $2,000 just getting everything. But after that it's cheap as all hell.

Looking for a new gaming keyboard & mouse
Thanks for the input everyone. I'm fairly set on picking up a Wolf Claw Devour Keypad. Still between mice though. The Razer Copperhead is probably going to win out since I tend to prefer the ambidexterous design over the more conventional mice, like the Logitech G5, which would be my next best choice.

my guide to cats
Considering that most cats are actually lactose intollerent - any milk should be avoided "special" or not.
