I haven't seen a use for a poll in a looooong time. Well, except in official topics (such as the subforums discussion / vote) and for some Arenascape topics.

Steven Spielsberg Or M.K.Shyamalan
I don't get this topic either. Are we somehow meant to justify why we like one person over anything when they're generally involved in completely different aspects of film production? Either way, last Spielburg movie I saw was 'The Lost World' (today). Shymalan, would have to be 'Unbreakable'. I'm yet to see 'The Village' but I hear it's fairly good. If anything better than what 'Signs' turn out to be like. That one was a big let down.

The death of Cory Lidle- Condolences
Hm, baseball doesn't seem to make it outside the USA and here to Australia, but sympathy none the less.

Yea, except when it's compulsive, it takes more than just "talking".

Name Change for Music and Movies?Blogscape count as P.Count?
Rather not have game-talk being dumped in with music and movie discussion. They're at two completely different ends of the "entertainment" spectrum. If anything gaming could be lumped into tech and computers. And book-talk about be better suited to the varrock library. And this is where you really start seeing the need for sub-forums - if you don't want the front page being cluttered.

You've got to love mass produced products!
I think I got a dead pixel on my monitor at home. But I got so much crud on the monitor (yes I eat at the computer) that it makes no difference. Recently my sister got her 24" iMac and we spent about 20 minutes checking, double-checking and triple-checking it for dead pixel. Didn't find any \ And consider yourself lucky if you've only got one or two dead pixels on your average TFT monitor, we all remember the dead-pixel issue with the PSP? A lot of them were in excess of 5 dead pixels and the screen size is about 1/10 of your average TFT :P

Yea, using the HOST file is probably the best bet. Most people I come across don't even know it exists, and if something is blocked - a lot of people seek out a solution in their browser / firewall / etc. Most likely would've even cross their mind to check a file burried in the system folder ;)

Fairness
There used to be a massive gap of up to 5 hours (on a bad day) where you'd be hard-pressed to find a moderator that was active, on the forums, in irc or on . Doesn't happen as often anymore, but it still does, since the bulk of the staff come from the same 10hour block (almost) of time-zones :P

mcdonalds monopoly game? real or fake?
Just ignore the fraud and scandals that break out now and then where the best prizes end up being won by associates of employees of the distributor / producer of the tokens :P

Water, water everywhere...*school ABSOLUTELY flooded!*
Hm, worst wet experience... don't really have any. I like my rain and water. Back in '99 we got this HUGE storm, and I mean MASSIVE. The school grounds are really uneven, right. Like if one part floods, it's highly unlikely that another part will also flood. WRONG. It was impossible to get from any classroom to another without coming across at least 15cm of water across the pathway. But that's not the kick, next to the motorway there is a foot/bike path. And just before it goes under the train lines it dips down a bit (for water run-off from the motorway), and it looks kinda like this: Direction of travel ---> __ ___ ` ~ _ - ` ` - - ` ` -______- ` anyhow.. I always took that route home and when I go there on that day you could've sworn the path didn't dip down at all. since it looked more like this... Direction of travel ---> __ ___ ` ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ` And me being me, I was a bit... that's not too deep... and proceeded to ride my bike through it. If anyone wants to know what it's like trying to ride a bike when it's completely submerged, it sucks! Even when I stood up on the pedals, water was around my waist #-o

Finally, the way James Bond was meant to be seen...
Hardly any of them are. The entire series is darker than what ends up on screen. And most of the movies stop sharing similiarities with a book after the title.

Earth really is pathetically small...
Our fault was the dark ages, when science could get you hung for hericy :uhh:

Import\Tuner Cars
Anesthesia is only 6 or so months younger than me and I turned 21 back in August. And yes, he is engaged, something you can't do in the UK if you're a kid.

What about track racing, Tigra? I know plenty of people with illegal mods (not really illegal, but mods that make them illegal to drive on suburban roads) on their daily-drivers because they take their vehicles to tracks to race rather than racing on suburban roads.

"Jesus Camp"
Am I the only person who watched it and still doesn't care either way? Yea they seem a bit, off. But people are doing that already, so it makes no difference really :-?

Do YOU have a RL nickname?
rick *shrug* Hardly anyone uses my real name anymore. 1. I don't like it 2. Most people don't know it (ie: I introduce myself as rick)

Battlefield 2142 Demo
blade995: I don't like it - even if they do fix the bugs. Almost everything needs to be fixed; it's stupid.
