  1. If it makes any difference to anyone, in grade 10 my Art teacher was teaching grade 8 English. And sometimes she' start asking us how to spell really simple words. Most, words her grade 8 class could spell.
  2. P2P made it easier but now some changes just make it easy all around. Anyhow, try PristonTale. Free up till lv 40. Then you gotta start playing. At least for now. The Jap And Korean (iirc) are both 100% free, it's only the English verion that wants monies now. But its on the way to being free aswell :P
  3. At least it isn't a Pajero :P although I wouldn't go with a Hilux. Be better off with a 100 series Land Cruiser w/ a 3" lift on the body, 4" lift on the coils. And you can't forget the 35" muddies. Granted it'd set you back more than $4500, but it would be well worth it :P That or get a Patrol. Same mods. Both will be fine, depends what you can pickup for cheaper ;) Edit: Forgot about locked front and back diffs

I also agree with whoever said Pokemon > Yu-Gi-Oh.
  5. Hi

Well, it's against the Jagex TOS anyways. So ah, I'd say no.
  6. Nah, I doubt it's just your school doing that. There are a lot of places around here desperate for people to learn a trade (and similar) because there seems to be somewhat of a shortage of tradespeople :-? And, just a suggestion, if teaching er, fails... pick up something in IT as you say, but I suggest journalism as another option.
  7. Thanks for the insult, but since I'm in a good mood - I'll just assume you're being a self-absord [developmentally delayed] yourself and leave it at that. The only way you are going to understand anything is if you make an effort. Teaching only gets so far, and since you seem to "be learning php" you should already know enought to do what you want. If you want to start learning "advanced php" download phpbb and read through the scripts for that. Or find some other open source php application and hope you understand what's in front of you. Or you could take the slower way - which is learning how to do things yourself by starting small (like I said before). And it generally the better and easier way to do it. Or is that too much to ask - that you help yourself rather than hoping that some poor bastard is going to waste time on you when you don't even want to do that?
  8. Searching for months? You've been looking rather hopelessly then. Takes like half a minute to get hits on 'news scripts' on google. And another half minute to 'colour text webpages' :-?
  9. Yes, 1984 is one of those books which should've stayed as a book :( Anyhow, tonight was eventfull for me. Started off watching Back To The Future before switching channels and watched Phone Booth. I wasn't disapointed by it either. Ending was a bit like Swordfish - something believable :P Although I think it came to an end too quick. Then after that I switched back and caught the end of The Bourne Identity. Amusingly I still find it rather bland, how it ends and all :-? Then back again to see the last half of The Siege. I still think it's a rather dull movie. FBI running around hunting down terrorist cells before the military gets called in for martial law, etc etc. And ironically enough the FBI still manages to ah, find the last cell even after almost everyone in the counter-terrorism unit is killed when a good 10,000 US troops could not. Blah. And once that piece of trash was over, back again to watch Crash Dive. Another run-of-the-mill Nuclear Submarine is hijacked by terrorists posing (this time) as people stranded on a rather cripled boat in a storm. Anyhow, as usual, a single man is sent in and knocks off all the badies one at a time before having to deal with the single "insider" before saving a major town from being "destroyed". Rather generic night IMO. BTTF: 8/10 Phone Booth: 7.5/10 The Bourne Identity: 7/10 The Siege: 5/10 Crash Dive: 5.5/10 I've seen them all before 'cept Phone Booth and Crash Dive (so ratings stand even for partials :P) And I'm currently watching Laws Of Deception. It ah, seems ok from the whole 6 minutes I've seen so far, but we'll see in another 2hrs if it was worth my time :-?
  10. There isn't no fun in that though ;)

Great stuff Rob - how long till the EP is out :P
  12. That's all well and good except that PHP5 is the minority when it comes to the version of PHP that is being run.
  13. Yes, yes you can. Rock Crawling ftw bro ;) Lets see your pansy street cars do that :P
  14. Dream car, nfi really. Probably the Lotus Elise. Although, there will never be a street car that'll out do this baby... Pure off-road muscle. While still being a legal road vehicle ;)
  15. Hm, need to work on getting the right angle. The bottom two aren't bad, but could've been a lot better if you'd taken more shots from other angles just to play around with them a bit. I can't say much for the top two, they're lacking a lot IMO.
  16. For me, you needed 4 semesters of certain subjects with a passing grade to even get into a degree. For me it was English and Maths B. For Some of the science degrees it was Maths B, English and Chemistry. And since there is only 2 semester a year, both grades 11 and 12 counted (along with the OP score but meah, won't go into that). Anyhow.. @Lionheart_0: Find out exactly what is required in that co-op thing and decide if you want to do it or not. You'd need everything else if you're just going for Science. But if you want to specialise in something (like Chemistry, Biology or Physics) then that'll be molded once you get to University.
  17. Upload them at some image hosting site (like ImageShack) Then it's just a matter of pasting the direct link to the image between this tag: And if it's moderately big, then use the 'thumbnail for forums (1)' code that is auto-generated.

It's too big. Both in dimensions and file size. Shrink both to the limits and you'll be good.
  19. Well, before you start using php. The Quick Way: 1. Get a free host that supports php The Better Way: 1. Download and Install php 2. Download and Install Apache 3. Download Install MySQL (you can use any SQL interpreter that you want, but MySQL is the most frequent that you'll find on the internet) Now that you've got a www area you can start playing with php scripts. Your best bet is to go over to w3Schools php tutorial and build from there. If you ever get stuck as to how you can do something, always google. And there is always the PHP API documentation at the php website that you really should have a quick read of sometime.
  20. When my high school went to the "healthy eating" range at the school cantine or whatnot, they found that 90% of their profits suddenly vanished to local cafe's and whatnot  Only took them a week to reverse the changes to how it used to be.

There is a sticky for such things in the Media Discussion forum ;)
  23. Other than the title, it's got bugger all to do with either.

It would actually be roughly 65L of water. And most of that wouldn't be lost untill your cells start to break down. Which is quite the while. Perhaps a few kg's of weight but that'd be about it really.
  25. ____ replied to indy500fan's topic in Off-Topic
It only works on people who haven't changed the default date/time display :P And I have. So much so that unless it is made entirely out of numbers it does stand out as being part of the sig ;) Anyhow, I got a few people who'll be estatic about this news. Never going to see them for a while once it comes out
