wtf human body losing 23kg after death? I have NEVER heard of that. If my mate lost weight after death they would've needed to wrap him in a damn fat suit considering it was open casket and he looked exacty the same (weight-wise and build wise) :-?

This is just to everyone who was all "you'd think people close to them would notice.. blah blah blah" or whatever.. After the first time I attempted suicide no one appeared to keep a closer eye on my emotional state. After the SECOND time same deal. Basically xxsheepxx got it fairly close to correct with the last statement, nobody gives a damn about your bad day. Sucks but it's true. Which is why I tend to give a damn when my friends seem a bit down because I know what it's like to be on the edge and really don't want them being in said state. Although it does go both ways, people teatering on the edge really should seek help. And people close to said person should damn well know when something isn't quite right. Especailly when they're not quite cheery for a long time :-?
  3. I'd say he's got a good case. Whether or not he's got the money to keep the matter in court is another issue :-?
  4. The most recent Pepsi commercial I've seen has been for Pepsi Max, where a guy is pushed out of a plane wearing a giant bannana suit into a jungle with Gorillas in it or whatever. I wasn't paying much attention at the time...
  5. That's me with my VHS tapes. Movies all over the place and whatnot. I've lost a few of them because of that aswell :(

Sports was perhaps the least important aspect of my school. Although nothing else was really above it either, everything just all around sucked.
  7. I don't know what's more amusing... That Microsoft is giving stuff out for free. Or.. That I had to turn off Add Blocking for the link to work.
  8. Just to look like a [bleep]? Good work, you got your wish.

Short answer: No Long answer: No. Too much went wrong during school to have made it enjoyable. The negative just outweighted the positive. Much like University is at the moment.
  10. That would depend soley on the type of crossword :P But then I'm just being picky so I'll leave it at that ;)
  11. Bloody hell Daan. That DVD alone costs more than both my sisters and my own DVD's combined :|
  12. You won't be getting anything for a while then, I guess ;) Consider that costs like what, over $400?

    myspace aye? Nah.
  14. Beating Ocarina Of Time w/ only 3 hearts ;) Beating Majora's Mask w/ only 3 hearts :D That just about does it. I'm still working on Wind Waker with only 3 hearts. And then there's things like: - Finishing return to zork - Finishing Zork Nemisis - Finishing the entire Myst series back to back in less than a day - Completing GoldenEye on 00 Agent - Completing PerfectDark on hardest (forgotten what it is, Dark / Perfect Agent?) - Beating Metroid Prime on GC w/ 100% - Beating Metroid Prime 2 on GC w/ 100%
  15. change ISP? Or is that the only one in the area...

Now that's perhaps the most amusing thing I've read in regards to heaven/hell in a long time.

Don't exactly have to, since I'm sure we're all aware that good/evil doesn't actually exist? Or are some of us too arrogant to accept that good/evil is just an excuse to look down on people who don't follow your set of rules that you chose to live by. Nature has no concept of either. We made it, we seem to live by it, and somehow many of us seem to think we have the right the claim 'betterness' over others because of it. Rather sad really, we all have different beliefs, and we know damn well that they don't match up. IMO, if people want to believe that some divine being created the world and whatnot - good for them. If others want to believe that the mighty Okak is our true origin, go for it. And for me, I just don't want to hear that anyone is made a 'better' person because of what they believe in. Because when you start preaching that you are (not the irony here) you have crossed into that land of being inconsiderate of other people and their beliefs, which isn't exactly good - no matter what you think. Any questions as to how I came to that conclusion?
  19. It doesn't get more complicated than multiplications and the odd bit of discount (see multiplication again) :P Love retail sometimes.
  20. If I only count what happened during official sporting events, then that would be: 1. Twisted ankle in soccer 2. Bruised muscle (or something like that) in cricket 3. Crush toe nails into toes in Karate Other various injuries while not in sports include: 1. Ripping half my lip off after stacking bike 2. splitting back of head open after stacking bike 3. ripping back of calf open on peddle cog after foot slipped off peddle 4. grazing most of the skin off my left leg and arm after stack bike 5. ripping hand open on something during inline hockey seems to be the major ones. I've hurt myself too many times to reall remember much. I like the only really serious one was #4 in the second list. I was doing one of the mtn bike runs near my place, and i took a bend with a bit too much speed and the back wheel slide out from under me. Slid/bounced the next 20 or so meters on the left hand side of my body. That sucked.
  21. Theme park rides still hold the record of 3 and a half hours (when the Tower of Terror opened at Dreamworld). And roughly the same when the Giant Drop opened. After that, comes other misc rides and such then ironically after all of them are out of th way, McDonalds.

Short answer: No. Long answer: Basically it comes down to, man created god(s) as a means to explain why, and how, some things happened. And as the times changed, people got smarted, and discoveries came about that "go against" the grain so to speak. At least at the time. So yea, no god(s), just a means to justify what we don't yet understand.
  23. That is what I'll never get, even on my res (1280x1024) I still have to scroll down a good screen before I even see Off Topic, so how the hell do people posting 'Runescape' stuff in Off Topic somehow miss the other ah, 30 or so runescape-related forums above it is beyond me.
  24. They're quite good. Written in a chronological order to you ah, experiences perhaps? That seems to be the impression I get when I read them.
  25. I had a substitute teacher from the USA in highschool once. She always kept taking marks off students for "wrong spelling" and then having to put them back because she kept getting reminded that we spell things differently here in Australia :P
