Sara Godsword for Slayer/General use, Arma Godsword for pking and hard hiting fun and Bandos has a good spec for solo boss hunting (imo). Zamorak godsword it the least useful in my opinion.

If you've done Swan Song then monkfish are good xp and money. Tuna and swordfish are a close second. If you just want xp then stick to fly fishing.

I've been superheating mithril bars in the mining guild lately, and that isn't bad mining/smithing xp. You can bank the bars, and either sell them later on, or make them into mithril platebodies.

I think you can get to the top rank really quickly with this method. As long as you don't mind spending a bit of money.

I'm always on 121, the least lag for me, and it's always been my homeworld. I would go on 99 but it's too laggy for me.

I have Bloodvelds (Always busy, very unrewarding, and very boring to kill), Skeletal Wywerns (Not exactly easy to kill, and a pain to get the equipment together) and Kalphites (Usually busy, unrewarding drops, and rubbish xp). It really depends on what you like and dislike in a slayer task though.

I was wondering if it would be worth buying a Guthans set. I am 122 combat, and I'm using Kuradel as my slayer master. I use the enhanced excalibur and bunyip for most tasks, but I don't like to wear barrows (OCD, don't ask), so my defence is always low (usually torso, dragon legs and defender). I have a large fire giants task coming up, and I know how hard they can hit at times. I've also struggled to keep my hp up with just the EE and a bunyip at Nechreyeals. Are there any other tasks where guthans would benefit, and if so, is it worth buying a set?

Kind of stupid post considering he doesn't even have 70 attack or defence. You could try runecrafting or picking fungus. Edit: Sorry, didn't realise you were replying to something else! lol

Coming from a British person (who isn't going to runefest) I honestly don't care about this situation. Maybe this is a little off-topic, but you Americans get everything first anyway, just look at the Ipad, the latest films, the latest games etc, the list goes on. Obviously games and films aren't related to runescape, but do you really expect a UK based company to go over to the US and hold the event? So people are going, get a free untradable item. Seriously what is the big deal? It's a flipping banner, why is it so important?

Well 1k death runes are worth 350k - 400k, and for 1k deaths you would need to spend 140 points. Definatly go for runes, or just save them up.

Just thought I'd post this. Every time I have a Steel Dragon task and I go into the half of the room nearest the Iron Dragons, I end up getting attacked by an Iron Dragon (It uses its far range firebreath) even though I'm in the Steel Dragon room. Why isn't there a sheild wall seperating the two different dragons, theres a wall seperating every other creature in the dungeon! Does anyone else have this problem?

In Kuradel's dungeon hopping back and forth through the portal wall might get them aggressive again, not entirely sure.

Ok so I was playing in high detail fine this morning, so I go to log in this afternoon and I'm in standard detail in the GE. So I log out, and go to change the detail settings, but when I try to set it to high detail it says; 'Runescape was unable to enter that display mode, please consult the knowledge base for more information', Wtf?

Seems like a rumor to me, or at least I didn't notice a decrease in easy tasks at a higher combat level. And as said, the only thing your task size depends on is the master you use. Ye, it's not 100% confirmed, it's listed on the slayer guide on rune wiki, heres the link: Rune wiki slayer guide

The amount you get assigned is pretty much random, however, the higher your combat level, the harder the monster will be. For example, if you're combat 120 you might have more of a chance of getting easier monsters such as hellhounds, greater demons etc. But if you're 130+ combat you might have a better chance of getting tasks like Mithril Dragons, Metal Dragons etc.

Ok, so i was wondering if it would be efficient to bring super attack and defence pots for every slayer task. Currently I only bring them for harder tasks (such as Iron dragons).

Zammy spear has other uses too, like Aquanites, Corp Beast, and Dragons if you have the herblore level.

Ok, so I've had an offer in the Grand Exchange for Dragon Platelegs (max price) for the past five hours and I haven't managed to buy any, and I havne't tried to buy or sell them for at least a week. I did see another thread about something like this the other day (a guy couldn't buy a sara godsword for several hours, even though he hadn't bought or sold one in days). The only reason I can think of, is that Merch clans are merching Dragon legs, stopping anyone from getting them.

Nice task, I only ever get Rune Full Helm and Deaths :/ I do have a 219 Nech task to do, I probably won't be as lucky as you however haha

I like to use zammy book over rune defender, it provides a prayer bonus and they barely have any defence anyway, so the offensive loss isn't noticable. It also means you can wear both prossy legs and plate.

1 kill a trip? That sounds very silly unless you're trying to save money on prayer potions. Aslong as you don't mind waiting for the respawn, you could get close to 10 kills a trip. I would use Dragonfire Sheild with Whip/Leaf Bladed sword, then use proselyte and pray melee. You should have antifire, super attack/super strength, super antipoisen and prayer potions. You should probably take a beast of burden with monks, and monks in inventory.

I might go, considering I live in Wales, only four hours or so by train to London :D
