  1. I've had around five desert strykewyrm tasks before, and I they used to use their special (where they dig underground, and come up and again, resulting in 300 damage if you're not careful) maybe once every five kills. I recieved a task yesterday, and killing them today they seem to be doing it WAY more. Every single one I kill digs underground at least once. Has anyone else noticed this?
  2. So, I went to try and get a fire cape again today (it was my fourth attempt), managed to clear all the waves in record time (just over the an hour), only to get to Jad and mess up AGAIN. Something different has gone wrong every single time I've attempted to kill Jad: 1st Attempt: Jad spawned on top of me, KO'ed me with one melee with within 5 seconds of him spawning. 2nd Attempt: Got him to half health, healers spawned, I paniced and messed up my prayers resulting in a instant KO. 3rd Attempt: Got to half health, got all four healers on me, got him to around 10 - 20% health and messed up prayers once again, KO'ed again. 4th Attempt (Today's attempt): Got to half health, got three healers on me, fourth one was behind Jad, so I tried to range him, big mistake, ending up running into Jad, he melee'd me, I was left with 90hp, one of the healers finished me off before I could drink a sara brew. So, I don't think I'll attempting the caves for a while again. Have you had any bad experiences at fight caves? Or even good ones?
  3. If you don't put it on before he spawns he can hit you 2-3 times. Just make sure you put mage prayer on the wave before the first 360 spawns.
  4. The mask either needs to have its charges depleted or at full charges to be sold to other players, so maybe he wants to sell it.
  5. The charge is kind of random, so I don't think you can put a time on it. It could take one hour or ten depending on you're luck.
  6. So just take EE and prayer restores and range all the way?
  7. Why don't you just sell the diamond on the G.E then buy a ring of life. Seems simple enough to me.
  8. I was thinking about getting a fire cape recently, and it just happens that Kuradel has assigned me a Thzaar task, so I decided to accept her slayer challenge and do the fight caves. This means I can use the boosts of the slayer helm to my advantage. I've gone with a setup like this so far (sorry no picture) Full Slayer Helm Fury Proselyte Top Verac's Skirt Barrows Gloves Ava's Backpack Thing Zammy Book Dragon Boots Zerker Ring Whip/Rune Crossbow, with Broad Bolts in Ammo slot. Basically I plan to melee everything but the 360's, and range the 360's and Jad (obviously). Is this a good idea? I also have guthan's plate in my invent when I'm not praying (I will only be praying against the 360's and Jad), so I have better defence against the level 90 range guys and the 180 melee guys. I also have enchanted excalibur in my invent aswell. I'm planning to go with rocktails' and prayer potions for prayer restore and healing, again, is this a good idea? Any comments would be great!
  9. Sorry, I also meant to say that my previous methods were with range and safespotting, however, using this method takes a while to get to Jad at my range level. I was wondering if melee would be better basically.
  10. Fury, Zammy Spear, Sara Sword (If training strength), Enchanted Excalibur, Bandos if you really have some money spare and don't know what to do with it. Possibly Ardounge cloak 3 if you're using a stab weapon while praying.
  11. I was wondering what the best strategy for a fire cape would be. I've attempted Jad three times, and failed three times (always mess up on the prayer switching). My stats are 97 attack, 90 strength, 90 defence, 94 hp, 81 range and 84 magic. Edit: and 71 prayer.
  12. Just out of interest, what do you think of it? It's just most people will agree that selling most of you're items to get one is a bit silly. Anyways, you could try going to barrows with it, if you have full void melee, even better.
  13. I was wondering if people could post their drop rates for whips, because I'm getting drop rates from different places and their all very different. I started killing demons Friday and got 3 whips in 300 kills (Lucky Me!), but now I'm on a dry streak of around 1500 kills.
  14. longsword has more stab i believe. Both Longswords and Rapiers damage are halved at corp, so neither of them are a good option. The only weapon that is not damage halved at corp is the Z spear and possibly SoL (Source?). The Rapier is good for monsters or players with low defense. Maul is the best PvP KO weapon, and CLS is pretty much the best for everything in-between. If you had a choice of which to get 1st, I would go with the CLS as it has a all around usefulness to it. From my friend who uses it to solo Bandos, he said it is far superior than a whip on bosses. Where do people get this fact from? It's been confirmed by jagex that no weapons have damage reduction against corp. Therefore both rapier and longsword would be better than a zammy spear. Where has that been confirmed? I have personally seen that my vesta long did not hit over low 20's. I'm not entirely sure, but I know jagex havn't confirmed that other weapons have decreased damage against corp.

  16. Well, from 75 to 85 slayer I got around 2.5k crimsons. Just to give you an idea.
  17. Lucky you. Ye it's fine for me and I live in Wales, so I guess it's just an American thing.
  18. Do the prayer halo's only work inside castle wars? Because if they work everywhere they could be useful.
  19. It costs even more money to train herblore now, mainly due to the high level herblore update. Therefore you're always losing at least 1- 2k per potion you make.
  20. I bought my amulet of fury for around 10 mil a couple of months ago. I'm sensing an update to tokkul from jagex soon, and the stats are only a slight difference to a glory. Should I sell my fury now, or keep it?
  21. I use regular melee gear, but replace the torso and leg slots with desert robe and bottom. They hit pathetically for their level, so you won't have to worry about losing to much hp.
  22. I went from 62 to 70 using green dragonhides (making vambraces then bodies). It cost me around 4.5 mil. It only took me around 3 hours however, so it depends whether or not you want to spend that much.
  23. You need to be double their combat level +1, I can't remember what their combat level is, but I think it's 29, so therefore it would be 59 combat. If you're in wilderness then they will always attack you no matter what you're combat level is.
  24. Well you need to pray to kill them, therefore you have to put money in prayer pots. Also the way you are getting money (Dragon boot drops) is luck based, so it would depend on those factors. However, with mages you don't have to worry about them getting busy, unlike Green Dragons, which are always packed.
