I'm going to be honest in saying that the high school I went to for two years made me want to be done with it as quickly as remotely possible. All because of a medical condition that was rather visible, I was ridiculed badly mostly. All of that made me so absurdly bitter that I got to the point of wishing nothing less than death on those that were disgusted by me. High school was pure concentrated hell to me, I'm honestly glad that's over with. Worst experience of my life. I became convinced of one thing: those that are truly terrible cannot be absolved of it in most cases. Douchebaggery is just terrible.

I can answer #1 for you at least. As for #2, not sure what you're aiming for, but it's a bit more complicated than it needs to be. #3, I think the graphics card needs the driver obviously, the others won't need a driver to function. #4, You can't just copy the programs over to the new OS, you'll break registry keys, and by proxy, the program itself. You'll have to reinstall it.
