I personally use the buff banner, I find it especially useful playing soldier as often times I don't die very quickly, and the buff is very useful. It's gonna really come down to preference here. The buff banner lets you be some serious credit to team, but the cold steel of a reliable shotgun is hard to pass up when dealing with multiple enemies at once.

I do rock climbing every now and then. Nothing like the thrill of skating the line between life and death to get your blood flowing.

You should really play the first. And Opposing force. ep2 will give you a little more info on the G-man but not much at all. It's more about just placing all the facts together from all the games. When those "pills" are the only thing keeping my body from turning on me completely and dying, I don't have much of a choice, now do I? That being said, supplements should be just that, a supplement, and not a substitute. Use it to help make up for vitamin deficiencies a times, but don't make it a crutch.

I use a multivitamin to counter the medicine I have to take. I feel completely terrible otherwise because it drains you if you don't solve the vitamin deficiency issue with it.

Ravenholm? Use the gravity gun and the saw blades to slice everything up. Unless you're at the part where you have to get on the roof, which is the only bad part of that entire game. Having a jumping puzzle in a first person game is kinda bull [cabbage]. The whole Ravenholm section was twisted. Ravenholm's pretty neat bar those goddamn rooftop battles with the faster headcrab zombies. They pretty much earned the dubious title of "Goddamned Spiders"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdMhTL5bZrs This theme is awesome, accompanying the final boss of the game. It seems to fit perfectly, even if the boss has 14 forms in total(granted the first 13 can be killed in a few turns or so each). It kicks pretty hard into high gear at about 0:27 or so.

I'll supply you dudes with weaponry if you need any. Need the anti-material rifle? This rifle fires custom-tooled 3.5cal rounds. The power needed to fire these bullets is absurd to where the shot will cut through anything. You can kill a vehicle completely with these rounds. Most rounds only create a hole the size of the bullet, but not this gun. This one can create shockwaves that'll rip limbs off. The recoil is nothing to joke about either. The force behind the shots can break an arm off easily, so it's recommended to use a stable mount or something to fire this baby. The force behind these shots is magnetism and a whole lot of electricity. Too much force and the shots or even the gun will shatter.

Eh, some people are rather terrible. Some are awesome though, so I guess it balances out.

I know that, I was talking on a pub/pug level. I've seen Pyro used in competitive matches to mixed results.
