  1. I'll append what I said, and I only have one really close friend, I'd take a bullet for her if it came to that, and she's the only one I can really trust with almost anything. I don't get to see her often, but she's really great. She and I would probably be in a relationship if she wasn't already in one. Can't complain though, the hugs are always good, and I have kissed her a few times, so it's all good. There's a few more online that I'm really good buddies with.
  2. The purchased version is Alpha, and the free one is Classic.
  3. Maybe one or two. And I almost never see one of them, but she's nice to me, so I can't complain.

My programming teacher is hilarious. He sounds like Dracula from SoTN: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMTizJemHO8
  5. Goddammit. Ended up in a skirmish. Died, lost my gold and items, and a golden brick. FUUUUUUUU.

    There isn't.
  7. It's only $10. Really, considering that most MMO players are forking out $15 a month, it's really not that bad in retrospect by comparison. What are those new features they're adding that justifies the $10 increase though?

I have three classes from 9:05 to 12:10 on MWF, then I'm done for the day. Tuesday and Thursday have a class at 12:45, and Tuesday also has a lab I need to do from something like 2:10-5:05 or some insane hours like that. And my programming professor sounds like Dracula from Symphony of the Night. Dude's hilarious.
  9. ugh this, happens all the time. Yes, this. I hate doing that >__>

I've done worse problems than that. That one isn't too bad, it's just really weirdly formatted in text instead of an actual paper.
  11. Eh, I'm not about to look through 20 pages, but considering the arguments from all sides, I say that all sides for and against the mosque outside this forum just fail completely and should be destroyed. All of them seem terrible. I still think that this whole thing is overblown beyond reason. This should have died off a few weeks ago.
  12. God I [bleep]ing hate Natascha heavies now. It's not so much the slowdown of the gun, well it is actually. I shouldn't be slowed down to a snail's pace from 50ft away. It's worse as a medic because snipers get a really easy headshot. Bastards. The slowdown really needs to be scaled so that it has less of an effect at longer ranges.

Same bro, same. School hasn't even started and I've heard the class I'm taking is by far the hardest in the school. Advice: drop the class or get tutored. What class would that be? I'd say to just clear your head, you seem frustrated. Time for a back story! 6th grade (11 years old - 12 for you Brits) - took Pre-Algebra which put me 1 year ahead in math. Passed it easy. 7th grade - took Algebra 1 Honors which put me another year ahead (at my school it's supposed to be a two year course). Passed it easy. 8th grade - took Geometry, passed it easy. Now, 9th grade (3rd form - the present) Algebra 2 Honors, the last class I have to take to have my math reqs. to finish high school done (though I'll take calc and stuff too because I love math). The name is misleading, because it's actually Algebra 2 + Pre Calc in one course. Supposedly it's the hardest class at the private school I'm going to. Would put me 3 years ahead and would mean I could take Calculus (AB or BC, [bleep] me I forget) in 10th grade. My class will be 3 of my friends (the other 3 who are going to the private school pussied out) and the rest juniors and sophomores, with a few seniors who hate math. So, yeah, there's my story. And it probably makes me sound like a braggy douchebag, but whatever. Algebra 2 is honestly harder than pre-calc. Pre-calc just has you applying some concepts from Algebra and Geometry and use of circles and sines/cosines/tangents. If you're ahead that far, I don't think you'll have any problems. I kinda stopped after precalc, so...

Oh, it exists. And this thing is like two years old.

Wow, I remember that from a topic years ago. Did we ever manage to FIND the Viking Porn? Yes we did. It involved pillaging, burning, and charging. And tons of dead goats, being sacrificed to Odin and Thor. There was even a poster made about it, let me see if I can find it. EDIT: EDIT2: On second thought, if you want to see it, PM me.
  18. I made a megaman :D
  19. Persona 4 OST - Fog.
  20. If there's one thing that makes this game interesting, it's the underground systems. I've spent the past five hours mapping out a massive cave system. I've used no less than 200 torches so far, and I've hit diamonds. I ended up breaking through a hole in the ground... Just to find something I didn't expect. It's true hell down here. There are dragon-like demons down here. I've even postponed the tunnel on my fort I was digging because of this This place is rich in materials like iron, gold, even flint...
  21. All things considered, System Shock is a hard enough game to find anyways. Not many copies of the games were produced either, so most probably haven't played it. Most of these contests are popularity contests any way you slice it.
  22. http://tf2b.com/?id=ultimania92 I need a Trippler's Tricorne. Will trade a Baker Boy or Vintage Merriweather for it.
  23. And the best part is that the dude(s) behind the game are getting it all to themsel(ves).
  24. I don't have any "famous" quotes, but a bit of a brutal truth. From the day we are born, we're raised on some perceptions. That the hero always will save the day, that everything will be great, etc. There's one side to it that is brutally excluded until the worst possible time, that you don't have the context to realize that it's all bull[cabbage]. You aren't told that what happens and why the main character does what he does is for utterly arbitrary reason. They'd be fine if you were introduced to these things after learning how this world works, but you're introduced to these fantasies as early as the age of five, or earlier. Cue you ending up losing your favorite pet, having your heart broken by a girl/boy, losing your parents, your career plans will ultimately fail in pretty much all cases, you'll be unhappy with your body, and you'll suffer in more ways than one. You were set up to be crushed, without even realizing it, like one massive Xanatos gambit. Then there's ways that the 21st century is making us miserable, although I don't want to go into that. This century might have all these fine advancements, but it ultimately made things worse for us. I'm tired, and I'll elaborate on this one later.
  25. I'm serious that it's really something you don't want to be involved with. I've seen this happen more than once: A dude hooks up with a chick that has a kid, and the relationship wasn't supposed to be "too serious". Dude ends up having to take care of the kid all the time, almost as though he were his or her father.
