What do you think saying "asshat" makes you sound like?

Brandon, are you saying we should hide the truth from them? What purpose does that serve besides promoting an ignorant population? In fact, I think telling them the real facts would desensitize them from their "shock", rather than keeping it a secret (hint: people have fear of the unknown). I don't know about you, but I think people are generally more tolerant to things that they have knowledge about. Don't you think the news is Rated G for a reason? The world isn't what you want it to be - that doesn't mean to hide your face from the truth.

The main reason that a lot of people started racing for skill capes was to stand out. Now since every bank is flooded with them, they don't stand out anymore. But that's only taking into account what others (the average RS player) think... and honestly, who cares? Like Local said, as long as you think so then that's all that matters. I've always had the goal of getting all 99's the first day I started RS. No matter how many other people achieved that, I'll still be proud if I reach it one day. :mrgreen:

I don't have any particular curriculum for what makes a good friend. I guess it is just the vibe I get from talking to them. If they are a good friend, we can talk about absolutely nothing and still have lots of fun.

Well, only a few. But if Jagex made an official one for Agility, people would ask for a world for every skill that doesn't have competition of resources.

Wait a second. We are allowed to be happy about our achievements but not proud? Maybe I'm misunderstanding something here. Did you mean that we are allowed to personally value them as in (I'm personally satisfied that I have accomplished this goal) but that it's wrong to expect everyone else to value them (I wear a Phat, therefore I am superior)? If that's what you meant then I agree.

Good that's what this forum is for. And just for the record, it irks me too and I do world hop, repair graves, etc. I was just saying that there is really nothing we can do about it (except vent \ ).

I got something else to say about this. Where in religion is there a law stating that "God must have an origin"? Science clearly contradicts itself in this sense - and instead of defending science, you throw religion under the bus too. Well, what does that tell you about that type of question? This brings me back to my initial point. Some people seem to think logic can solve everything. Here's proof otherwise. I honestly don't believe we're at the peak of our intelligence. People have been assuming this kind of thing for years and years. Ever think for a second that there is a law in which we can't apply our limited logic to metaphysics? I mean, we can and it might be fun to ponder and all, but it's getting us nowhere at the moment. If you ask Zierro, he'll say that both forms of reasoning are overrated.

It sucks but what can ya do? It's not like they are 'supposed to' do it, they have to choose to do so. It's just like spot-stealing if you ask me. Yeah, some people can have the courtesy to put others first, but there's not much of an argument you can hold against those who don't.

Exactly, everything is just dust in the wind if you think about it. Unless you want to be depressed all the time, you have to put your own value of worth on that dust.

I'd actually agree with that, but sadly we have so many stupid people and they take it too far. So we have to adjust the world for them. Life is fair. :^o

Pixels are just a representation of the effort you put forth to get them. Much like money and grades. If you think about it, they are just "words on paper" like your achievements are just "pixels".

Don't ask that. That will give them more to debate about.

Hunter is better money and you get Xp faster. Woodcutting is requires less attention but logs are useful in lots of ways. So weigh your pros and cons and you tell me. ;) I'd prefer Hunter if I were in your shoes though.
