Honestly I've tried. And it's sad, really... My dad does stuff with computers for a living. He knows that IE sucks. The last time I tried I ended up discussing TWAIN drivers... That was my fault, but I was trying to get him to understand that I know (at least some of) what I'm talking about. I've tried the 'IE is a huge security hole' (which he apparently doesn't care about because Norton's supposed to counteract that [forgetting that it missed a virus *which wasn't my fault* which blew up the hard drive last year]) and 'No one designs for IE anymore' (except apparently he does. go figure) arguments too.

I know, I can't get any better, IE8 doesn't support Win2000 and I can't download anything. :x Dumb parental OCD rule.

I changed the text size (in the browser), but it's still kind of weird... I think it's fixed, but it wasn't happening on any other sites.

Alright two questions. I'll be away for the week of the 14th-20th and then the 21st-27th (however I may be on intermittently on the 14th, 20th, 21st, and 27th). How should I handle my story? Wizz and I are currently sharing it, should he take over for the weeks? And would we be allowed to have two separate characters?

If the applications close on the 24th, do you have a timeframe when those who will considered for the next (idk what to call it) filtering (?) will be contacted? I ask because I will be gone the 24th, until the 27th actually, and wouldn't want to miss my chance just because I was away... But I presume it'll take a few days to sort through all the applications. Sent in my app though, I think I have a good chance of getting picked. :pray:

The duping one was pretty interesting, the penguin one was kind of pointless but also kind of funny, 'Jagex Got Hip' was also kind of interesting but not really... The fictional article was good though, I look forward to part two. But this week's articles weren't the best.

I'm looking for a Nintendo DS game for $20 or under (hopefully that can be purchased at Target (gift card is from there)). Preferably in the fantasy/sci-fi adventure/RPG genre or something featuring Kirby, Link, or Mario. Length/fun replay value would be nice as this is probably the only one I'm buying for a while (I'm cheap and lazy...)

"You know, I could probably make some sort of grill thing out of this rock if I had enough time... It'd be much better for cooking fish on. I think that's a job for tomorrow. What should we do about building a shelter? We've got fire, which should protect us from any wayward animals, but it'll get cold... At least I think it will, it's cooling off right now."

I've been doing more digital paintings, and I think they look quite nice... Your thoughts? I'm taking Biology, American History, German 1, English 9, and Algebra 2. I've also got a writing assignment (basically an exam) in Band, and had a running exam ( :roll: ) in Aerobics (most pointless class ever!). Took part one of English exam today, was on The Odyssey. Tomorrow is the grammar part. In the fall I'll be taking the final exams for Geometry because I should have taken it this year but didn't (so I'm studying it over the summer so I can test out of it and free up an elective)
