  1. Now I get what Nom's saying; I have issues drawing arms foreshortened like that... Yeah, I need to work on that. Added version 2, which is basically shading. Also, I think adding the scarf caused some problems, I couldn't get it to drape right over his shoulders and wrap around his neck.
  2. So I'd like something sort of like what I've been trying lately... Description: A juggler, in tri-jester hat and scarf, perhaps performing in a circus setting? I haven't given much thought to the actual setting... If he could be wearing something like this it would be great, but I'd just really like the jester hat. : Size: Sig, whatever size you want. Subtext: hawkxs Also, if I could get a matching avvy, that'd be wonderful. Ref pic for the juggler (would put in hide tags... but it won't let me?)
  3. Meaning I've got his hands up too high? I was trying the pose and it seemed to me that where his hands are is about right... I was having a bit of an issue with his face... Basing it off of RS screenshots (bad idea, I know) and the hair looks weird when there's a hat on it... I'm not really sure yet, I think I'm going to add more hair behind his head, if that makes sense.
  4. With a pixel. Hopefully this will end up in a sig at some point (not a pixel sig... I'm not totally sure what I'm going to do yet) So this would be V1, no shading yet, just the main colors and outline finished: He's supposed to be juggling, hopefully that's apparent? I might add in some 'action lines' or something like that later. ...He's also leaning... Because I drew this, scanned it, and pixelated it... And my drawings slant to the left because I'm right-handed... Will fix that in next version. Alright, version 2. Just shading, I've decided that in my next pixel I'll work on the pose more, for now I'm focusing on shading. (since I have eight million layers, I'll rotate him when I'm done) [hide=@ 400%] By hawkxs at 2008-12-13[/hide]

  6. I have been sleeping a lot, trying to eat some stuff, however it's been three days and it's only gotten a little better. (Tuesday morning I threw up once, however I haven't since) I think it was triggered by eating some Spagettio's (sp?) at lunch... They were cold and I usually don't eat them that way. Then I also ate more processed pasta (macaroni and cheese...) I have been thinking that it's related to celiac disease, as I've been having these sorts of issues more and more recently... And I also have Type 1 Diabetes. So I might go to the doctor soon if it keeps up... I've almost missed a week of school. -.-
  7. Why Does This Always Happen to Me? Weird Al Why am I still sick after three days?
  8. The most important thing in writing is the actual writing, not what is written. If you have ever tried to write something then you know that writing immediately hits you as something impossible, where do you start? If you are being told NOT to do things you are always trying to start again, trying to get it perfect the first time. I admit, I am prejudice against guides. To me they provide nothing that cannot be a million times better explained in review. Not only does it let someone see what they have done wrong, rather than see what they shouldn't do, (Sorry, I am having a verbal coversation with people so my mind is split, and time is low.) it also lets us help them, it lets us know they need help...its not impersonal like a guide. Random bit that archimage_a wrote that I thought was particularly useful.
  9. They don't have wings. Why do people use computers?
  10. Yeah. It's having issues with shockwave... and adobe flash... (because of Norton Internet Security, the download for Flash is like go.flash.adobe.com but it registers as virus or some such crap and shockwave probably has not been updated in at least a few years...) but here's the screen from the DX Display: BlueLancer: I did mean Wc3, and honestly the browser won't even attempt to load HD. I'm not really in control of anything we do with the computer (otherwise I'd have FF among other things  ) Yeah we need a new comp... Actually, we have a crappy XP sitting here... (almost brand new, bought refurbished from where my dad works... Only comes with XP though, no Office... and it still has a crappy graphics card.
  11. So I've been under the weather for a few days now (some sort of stomach issue... I can't eat a lot but apparently that's the only way to get better... ) and I was wondering what you do when you're sick in an attempt to get better. I've heard when you have stomach illnesses you should eat toast, bananas, and apples... but I've been eating Jello and some fruit. Are protein shakes good? (like Carnation Instant Breakfast things) But if there's stuff you do when you're congested that's helpful too.
  12. System specs (I ran dxdiag, I assume that's what you wanted): OS: Windows 200 Professional It's a Micron Millenia GS with a Intel Pentium III processor, ~800MHz, with 512MB RAM And if there's more you need I currently don't know where to find it... Usually running behind the screensaver are a few IE windows (2-3), along with various background programs... which include Norton AntiVirus, EPSON Photo RX600 (printer), Control Center (other printer), InCD Essentials (CD burner thing), and Norton Internet Security. That would be everything in the system tray that's running as soon as I log on. There's other crap but it doesn't start automatically... Also I have changed the number of stars and speed but it doesn't seem to be running any faster. I don't know if it's the graphics card, I highly doubt it, I play Warcraft on this comp without any problems, although it won't support RS in HD.
