Always been partial to Alexandra (or Alex... if it was a boy), Katherine (I like Kate... I could actually just name her Kate), Madeline, also Emily, if it was a boy, Jakob (whatever the German spelling is), Ares/Thor, Bjorn would be cool, my friend wants to name his first kid Posideon (yeah I totally spelled that wrong.)

This is just a random question. I'm running Windows 2000 with like SP3 I think. When it starts the screensaver (the starfield, set to as fast as possible and 200 stars) runs very slowly and screws up the rest of my comp (slows it down a lot) for a few seconds after I get it off the screensaver, if that makes sense. Is there a way to get it to not do this?

So I was trying to do a bit about me-ish... Yeah that doesn't make sense anyway. But you're saying that these are typography as well?

Homework is almost always useless. The only times it's not is when it's in a class that requires memorization of words or whatever, like a foreign language. This reminds me, I especially hate it when a teacher will talk for the whole hour about stuff that's totally unrelated to what we're supposed to be doing and then he assigns us to do what we were supposed to do in class at home. And this particular teacher thinks it's our fault he keeps talking about pointless topics. :wall:

About the GIMP thing: When you go to save as, just type the name you want the file to have and then add the extension .png (don't save pixels as jpg, and saving them as gifs is kind of stupid) It'll want you to export it, click yes or whatever (I think it's continue) then another box pops up, then click save.

Is very good so far, I read it for the most part and pretty much it's just random nitpicky things if you know what I mean (the guilotine (sp) bit, the mom should be mum bit, etc) But I think purepure's latest comment is something everyone needs to pay attention to. That would be the real reason for me posting here. People should always try to give what the author/artist asks (i.e. You try to help, even if your c/c ends up being on something obvious or that they didn't want it on.). If you can't give anything, you shouldn't reply.

I speak American English, and am in German 1 this year, I plan to take it at least to German 3, and may attempt to get into AP German. I also know a bit of random Spanish and French, as well as random words in other languages (used to know what machine gun was in Uzbek, but forgot... started with an A :roll: )

Can you tell me what font that is in Shiny's sig? Looks cool... I presume you got it from dafont?

-UPDATE- If anyone wishes pixel AVATARS I will attempt to make you one, although preferrably they should be just one object, something I can make a sprite of... Then I can make a decent background for it and it'll look cool.

Yes, but as always, my topics asking for advice turn into a flameish war of doom in which I get absolutely no help at all. I'm sick of people saying crap that will not help anyone. I know the anatomy is bad, I wanted a bit of advice on how to get the background/sky/sun/grass etc to look more realistic, if I should have more grass and less sky or what. But no everyone decides they have to argue with whoever decided to attempt to actually give advice... :evil: Seriously, the only people who may have helped were Unoalexi and Skull_Emblem.

Does it have to be Christmas or can it just be wintery... Actually what I had in mind wasn't really wintery either... Put me down for maybe. If I can find a nice enough thing to take a picture of. Also... Would someone be willing to organize a winter/Xmas digital art challenge thing? I actually have something that I would enter...
