NO NO NO!!! BLEND THE FONT COLOR AT LEAST. USE A COLOR FROM THE SIG. TRY BLACK/GRAY/WHITE AND PLAY WITH THE OPACITY UNTIL YOU GET SOMETHING THAT LOOKS OKAY. Italics suck imo. Try a version of Arial for an okay font... Search on http://www.deviantart.com, I've gotten good ones from both places. Download the font to your GIMP folder, there should be another folder called 'fonts'- save it in there. If it's a .zip, open it and extract the .tff or whatever to the folder. Refresh your GIMP fonts when you're done. Then use a decent font.

So next one: Was going to put a border on it but I didn't like it... Also, anyone have good renders? Advice on sig sizes plz I'm sick of 300x110, what are other relatively small sizes that are good? EDIT: Here's another one... Border thing looks bad imo. EDIT #2: Yet another one... Didn't like the extra space, so I cropped it...:

^ That may be the issue... Unplug and when it comes up again, I'd pick Front/Rear/Side Speaker Out... if it doesn't work keep picking ones until it works... :roll:

I don't think the computer recognizes the Creative speakers, because it says Realtek... What was the previous brand of speaker? Also it might help if you clicked on "Configure" and see what it gives you.

Is there a driver that came with it or other software you haven't installed? Does your computer think it's outputting to another source? - ie Does it recognize that you've plugged in new speakers? I'm not sure what OS you're running but you should be able to check the sound settings in your Control Panel.

The only commercials I enjoy are the MythBusters ones on Discovery and Nationwide car insurance ads... And occasionally the Progressive car insurance ones (OR A BIG TRICKED-OUT NAMETAG) Oh and I liked the Wii ads.. The best ones are the NHL ones from a few years ago; they had goalies and they were awesome. AND NOW I'M A JANITOR! CUSTODIAL ENGINEER!

What about Axis & Allies? The new version plays like a strategy game, you can be any of the 'big powers' and there's campaign-style play using stats from the actual battles.

I like the top one better because the background seems better, see the upper right corner. Also I think the render goes better with the bg on the top sig. You're still not blending reall well, you've got the colors down but the render's not 'meshing' quite as well as it could be: Yes I followed a tut... Actually the first one I gave you I think. :)

^ As you get older, time seems to speed up. Not doing anything. I've got some 15 hours yet (EST) until midnight... Oh wait, at some point I'm going to play Animal Crossing: City Folk and get a telescope (well I think it's a telescope, it was in the GC version) from the mayor. :D

Warcraft 3 is not based off WoW, it came out 2 years before WoW. You also obviously haven't played that many M games. This is getting OT but then recommend an M game I'd enjoy.

It's good, although it's totally about RuneScape... Others may not like it much. Not much to say in the way of typos, except I believe you have two Chapter Sixes. And it's quite long. Which is neither a bad thing nor a good thing, I just am not a fan of long stories... They normally lose my attention after a bit.

N0M: You're saying it's not realistic at all.. NO ONE is perfect. So it is realistic in a way.
