Wow I love 83 Slayer lol, 3 of my 4 tasks since then have been mages and this was my last trip: The 76,800gp is from accidentally killing a Spirit Warrior and alching the Rune Hally drop I got lol. \ Then a break from mages to get my 6th D Med, 2nd from Fire Giants lol.

Slayer during peak hours = mass chatting lol. Fishing, but only when there aren't swarms of people around, same with woodcutting at Yews in Gnome Stronghold. You could try doing fletching/herblore in Edgeville bank and chat to people there, Firemaking's rubbish for chatting so don't do that lol. Hunter areas are great for chatting, you get people waiting round in one spot for hours on end for chinchompas etc, that's perfect really. Agility and RC aren't great because you gotta keep moving. Smithing is good, the furnaces and anvils normally have people there to chat to. Cooking pretty much anywhere with lots of people is good, it's good with lotsa people because most will be afk, btu with lots of people you've got a good chance of a chat lol. Also add me ingame if you want a chat lol, priv chat's always on. :

Don't you ever chat to people while you're doing skills...? I find it hard to beleive that you've tried to make friends, yet are 70+ every skill and hae 2 people on your friend's list. You may have fallen into the trap of only adding people when you consider them friends, but if you add people you've just chatted to briefly, I find that there's normally a good chance that you'll become friends with them just by chatting to them over pm. Your friend's list holds 200 names; don't be afraid about adding people, there are many people, me included who have full friend's lists, and although you quite a considerable way from doing that, considering the time you must have spent playing Runescape, having 2 people on your entire friend's list means you must have been pretty choosy about who you put on there. I suggest that you just join in with people's coversations when you go and skill, or start one of your own based on a drop or complimenting their equipment or something. If you decide that you're getting along with them, get them to add you and then you can chat to them over pm and probably, if your first impressions were correct, become good friends with them. There is of course something to be said for having a few great friends instead of loads of normal friends, but if while walking around Runescape you see a green dot and know that it's just on of two people then no wander you think you've finished the game; you never see any variety. With just 2 friends you will just see two other takes on RS beside your own, if you chat to a variety of people then you may well discover a load of things that you had never even thought of doing, and ideas and tips for things that you never knew about. EDIT: Also, if your priv chat is off, turn it ON!

I only ever use this account, so having this account perma-mutede or banned would make me quit RS. I don't really know what I'd do if I got hacked, I'd have to decide if it happened though. :ohnoes:

Wow, great find! Maybe there's some link between that world Prfrindas (<-- or whatever the name of the crystal gated elf city is.) Of all the things in Runescape to travel in time, I would expect either mages or elves, maybe the reason the city is deserted is something to do with them going back in time via crystals lol, or maybe I'm just going to in depth. But that's a great find, and definitely some sort of deliberate teaser for some future update by Jagex.

As Runescape has got bigger, Jagex employees and the Gowers themselves have slowly drawn further and further away from their players. At the very start, they would chat to players, help them out and such, there was global mod messaging so they could send and alert to everyone saying "sorry for the lag" or something like that. There is now very little interaction between the mods and players, especially not between the Gowers themselves. It's become more of a business than a hobby for them, although hopefully it is still both, but since Runescape has got so much bigger, it has become impossible for them to stay interaction with people on a peresonal level.

For this line, how about: I love familiars? The mention of summoning would be good and it's also 3 sylabils. Also you've got that song stuck in my head lol. :wall: fa-mi-li-ars i count four my friend. unless you say liars as one syllable, in which case blame my accent Yeah, when you're singing it it probably sounds like fa-mi-leurs.

This is really more of an Off Topic discussion because people reminisce in Runescape for the same reasons as they do in real life, because we can remember things, we do. If we remember things being better than they are now then it gives us reason to worry about what's going on.

Yeah I know a few players from Belgium, Ireland and Brazil lol. I swear Denmark and Norway are new too, there are far more different country servers on there than I thought tbh, I never really look.

Did The Giant Dwarf The Digsite HazeelCult Scorpion Catcher Gnome Tree Village Fight Arena all on the same day, and also: Regicide Roving Elves Catapult Construction The Hand in the Sand The Spirits of Eyline on the same day, and also: Tower of Life Waterfall Quest Creature of Fenkenstrain Death Plateau Gnome Stronghold Those days were all in a month a while back where I just randomly decided to do quetss all the time lol =/. Luckily I'm back to hating them all now! :D Nice one though, those are long quests and to do 8 in a day is awesome!

What...? -.- :evil: Most of the people I know who play RS at any decent level are about 16 or above, and to say "Runscape" is a "Junior MMORPG" makes me think that if I ever go to f2p there are gonna be a lot of kids. This parental dashboard system sounds exactly the type of thing that people play MMORPGs to avoid - the controll of their abilities and desires by their parents.

I know it may be a bit late posting this on page 120, but on previous post screenies topics there were links to the archived topics, which aren't on this topic... does anyone know where I can find the archived topics?

If they implimented this system then Jagex would just have made removing the Wilderness and Freetrade completely and utterly pointless, making all subsequent updates pointless too, so IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. I would also hate for this to happen due to the fact that it would make everyone just call well-off RS players rich irl gits. :wall:

Not even close to the worst well i consider flatpacks to be worthless as i have multiples of them already in bank and in my house! :P i admit its not the worst btw, ive had only bloods, laws and lobs once, but still ;) You must have either done very few clues or gotten very lucky in your clues, because for most people that's about the average reward. :roll:

Anyone got a map from around Jan 2004?

I train all melee through Slayer/GWD/KBD/Castle Wars/ Clan Wars. And pretty much the same for Ranged and Mage except I never slay with them.

A whole skill dedicated to spirit shards and pouches would be pretty thin tbh lol. Pouches are only 1gp anyways, and without the price of spirit shards summoning would be an easy, cheap and really helpful skill that most players would be a really high level in, thus ruining it. So I'm afraid I don't agree.
